Pryor House Bed & Breakfast

We had a lovely stay at the Pryor House. Glenda’s hospitality is nothing short of excellent! A beautiful, immaculately clean room with a truly comfortable bed, nice hot showers, delicious breakfasts… it was all there! We would not hesitate to stay again when in the area.

We stayed here for 1 night before going to Acadia National Park. The host was wonderful and the house was very nice. We stayed in the Captain's room. The bed was comfortable and we had a private bathroom. The B & B was a short walk to the historic downtown which had several restaurants. Breakfast the following morning was excellent.

My husband and I visited Pryor House Bed & Breakfast for the first time this week. Don greeted us at the door, brought us up to our room, and offered to give us a tour of the Inn. Pryor House is beautifully decorated with period pieces, and it's easy to see the care and thought that was given to the decor of each room. Our room was bright and airy, and everything was immaculate. The table settings in the breakfast room were lovely. And Gwenda's breakfast of fresh fruit, quiche, bacon, toast, and muffins was delicious! I am looking forward to a second visit!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time at Pryor House Bed & Breakfast. The house and rooms are so beautiful and full of character. We felt very comfortable and cared for. The breakfasts that Gwenda made us were some of the best homemade breakfasts we’ve had. We would recommend anyone to stay at the Pryor house. It is truly a special place owned by wonderful people.

Everything about this B&B was lovely. The rooms were clean and well kept, breakfast was delicious, and the owners are so nice and accommodating. It’s a great place to stay for a weekend trip! Will definitely be back.

First of all, Gwenda was a superb host. The home was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. We reserved the "Captain's" room. It was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The next morning we were given a delicious breakfast which consisted of Eggs Benedict, Bacon, Toast, potatoes, fruit and a chocolate marble cake for two. Me and my husband so enjoyed the hospitality, delicious food and the warm reception. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast Inn.

Beautiful, quiet and elegant residential area, pretty gardens and next to Government House and those beautiful gardens. It is a decent walk to the inner harbor but a pretty walk. We have stayed twice.

Lovely, clean, comfortable B&B - we stayed one night on our way east. Hosts were excellent, breakfast was delicious, and Gwenda was very accommodating of my gluten allergy. Parking available.

My wife and I did a 2 night stay. The Tall Chimney room was cozy, comfortable and clean with its own balcony. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after our long drive and the home made breakfast was phenomenal! Our first morning was salmon eggs Benedict. The next morning was quiche and 'fiddle-heads'. Delicious!! We definitely recommend

This is one of the best B&B's we've stayed at! The location is great, very close to downtown and very walkable. Gwenda and her husband are wonderful hosts! The breakfast is absolutely incredible and was something we couldn't wait to experience as soon as we got up. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. Plenty of parking onsite and there is an outside area for lounging. The only thing that could have been better was the lighting. There is very little in the bedroom. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

Our visit to the Pryor House B&B was a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, Don and Gwenda were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was awesome; as were the cookie bars left in the foyer last night we enjoyed upon arrival!! The Captain's Room was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views of the Kennebec River out the windows. Parking was easy with their private driveway. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in the Bath area to stay here.
