Lovely, clean, comfortable B&B - we stayed one night on our way east. Hosts were excellent, breakfast was delicious, and Gwenda was very accommodating of my gluten allergy. Parking available.

First of all, Gwenda was a superb host. The home was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. We reserved the "Captain's" room. It was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The next morning we were given a delicious breakfast which consisted of Eggs Benedict, Bacon, Toast, potatoes, fruit and a chocolate marble cake for two. Me and my husband so enjoyed the hospitality, delicious food and the warm reception. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast Inn.

This lovely B&B is a 200-year-old house filled with beautiful furnishings, books and crystal chandeliers. Our hosts, Gwenda and Don, were SO nice. They made excellent restaurant recommendations and saw to it that we were comfortable. The breakfast was, by far, the BEST I have EVER HAD at any B&B. Lemon scones, plump, juicy sausages, eggs Florentine.....oh, my! If only I could have eaten more! We stayed in the Tall Chimney Room which was comfortable and quiet. This establishment is on a quiet residential street within walking distance of town.

What a stay! Gwenda was friendly and welcoming, baked fabulous cookies a as n afternoon snack, and delivered an amazing breakfast. Blueberry blintzes, scones, fruit, sausage, great coffee, and great conversation with her as well as the fellow guests. The Captain's room was spacious yet cozy. The bathroom felt modern and new with the plushest towels. Every inch of the B&B was spotless. Highly recommend if you are exploring Bath or any of the nearby towns.

What can I say about this wonderful B & B that has not been said in recent reviews. The house is old time charm, and the proprietors are warm and engaging. We stayed in the Captains room and it was a great experience. The room is lit by the windows that let the natural light flood the space. Breakfast every morning is 5☆ quality. I don't know how anyone could leave hungry! Gwenda is a fabulous baker and her breakfasts are world class. The attention to detail and making each guest feel like they have been there before like old friends revisiting. Do yourself a favor and book a few nights at this charming bed and breakfast. You might even get lucky to sample Gwendas melt in your mouth, wonderful scones!

We had a wonderful time here, visiting the Bath area. We stayed in the tall chimney room which has a private deck attached where we spent a lot of time in the evening.||The room has a very large bathroom (as big as my kitchen at home) and everything was super clean. The included breakfast each morning consisted of coffee, juice, a home-baked coffee cake or sweet roll, fruit cup, and either a quiche or sausage and egg dish. The small breakfast room had two tables for two and one larger table which could be set up for three or four guests travelling together. The B &B is in a residential neighborhood which was very quiet. There is a small outside patio with comfortable chairs and a firepit.||All in all, a very nice experience.

My wife and I did a 2 night stay. The Tall Chimney room was cozy, comfortable and clean with its own balcony. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after our long drive and the home made breakfast was phenomenal! Our first morning was salmon eggs Benedict. The next morning was quiche and 'fiddle-heads'. Delicious!!||We definitely recommend.

Where to start, this was our first time staying at a B&B and we were not disappointed at all! The house was beautiful and cozy! The owner, Gwenda was absolutely the sweetest person ever! She was not only sweet, she is an amazing cook! We had a 3 course breakfast and it was delicious! We highly recommend the Pryor House Bed & Breakfast!!

Yelp
This is one of the best B&B's we've stayed at! The location is great, very close to downtown and very walkable. Gwenda and her husband are wonderful hosts! The breakfast is absolutely incredible and was something we couldn't wait to experience as soon as we got up. The rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. Plenty of parking onsite and there is an outside area for lounging. The only thing that could have been better was the lighting. There is very little in the bedroom. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

Yelp
Our visit to the Pryor House B&B was a wonderful experience. The house is beautiful, Don and Gwenda were wonderful hosts and the breakfast was awesome; as were the cookie bars left in the foyer last night we enjoyed upon arrival!! The Captain's Room was very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views of the Kennebec River out the windows. Parking was easy with their private driveway. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in the Bath area to stay here.
