Lovely quirky resto in Shilin! Visited this with my sister who's a big Meteor Garden fan. You can reserve the exact seats used in the series but we sadly missed our reservation. But still all good as the other seats had the same car theme! The owner was very friendly and accommodating - no wonder theyve been open for 27 years and counting. The food was also superb! We ordered the shellfish appetizer and beef pita - they were delicious. The cafe was also pet friendly - almost all customers (even the owner) brought their dogs when we were there. Will definitely reco if anyone visits the area! :)

Allmost perfect first time here and I'm felt the presence of Shancai and Dao Ming Su but actually I'm alone go here today but I enjoy the food and the vibes,love it.🤩

Came here because of Meteor Garden. The place was clean and slightly like a time capsule of the scenes in the show. The staff was very accommodating by letting us take pictures on the cars. The food was also great. I really love the cheesecakez Highly recommend place to visit. Pros: the place is very pet friendly.

Come here because of Meteor Garden, far from the city, i come not at weekend so not so many people here and this cafe also pet friendly. Order cheesecake and tea, sit on the car table. The service really good, fast and kind. I cough so many times, and the staff gimme the water, thank you!. The taste from my order just so-so, but if you want to visit where Dao Ming Tse date with Shan Chai, come here.

nice, cozy environment, pet friendly, nice staff, decent price! environment: 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌜 the restaurant is filled with antique cars that can also be used as tables, which makes it a very nice place to take pictures in. The place is very clean and the staff sanitizes every table after people leave. The place exceeded my expectations. Although it was a bit crowded since it was filled with cars (not much space for dogs to run around), the place was sooo clean (no dog hair, no poop, no smell). food: 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌜 the food isn't bad as well. There are both human and dog food. The dog food is plated really nicely and comes in big portions, but you could always take-away the food your dog couldn't finish. The human food wasn't bad either, there were appetizers, main dishes, as well as desserts! staff: 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌝 the staff were very welcoming and nice. When my dog peed on the carpet, they didn't seem annoyed and cleaned it for me.

The restaurant itself has a very fun ambiance with the classic cars seating. It is also pet friendly for people who want to bring in their dogs with them. The food itself was okay but not great. The customer service was good.

Awesome food and warm service. Took my daughter here for dinner and ordered salmon pasta and banana milk. She loved them so much and finished quite a large portion of the dish ( she is only 5). Cute internal setup with vintage cars setup. It could accommodate like close to 30 customers and service was great. Enjoyed the place and will for sure visit again.

watched and read reviews before getting there and learned not to order drinks but we shoud have still ordered drinks because the food was amazing. The risotto was just as expected, creammy and aromatic. Sadly the pancakes dessert were not available that day and they served us brownies ala mode instead and can't complain because the brownies were super moist and chewy that the vanilla ice cream complimented it. the staff were friendly. my sister asked about the place and was told that it was over 24years since they started as of writing. that's just 4years when they shot the iconic meteor garden date scene with barbie zhu and jerry yan in the cafe. the elderly staff already knew the spots where to take pictures of the iconic set. and by the way exisiting reviews and videos of the cafe in youtube and tiktok say you need reservations to dine at the table the date scene was shot. we were already expecting that we'll only have a picture of the set because we had no reservations but we were so lucky that day that we had the place all to ourselves til we finished our meal. we got there via uber by the way from shipai mrt station. there are buses but we simply cannot wait to go to the cafe. arrived there 6.30pm. had our meal and finished around 7.30pm. visited the place in october 2023.
