I have stayed in the lovely guesthouse already 4 times by now and for sure I shall go again. Located at the calm, sweet Porto Kayo, it is the best choice for weekends or holidays, if you are looking for a serene, easy going, calm place. Erikaiti and Antonis will take great care of you. Antonis paintings are decorating the traditional rooms. The guesthouse is practically at the beach side. Made in stone, with full respect to the Mani's architecture, the rooms are refreshed by the summer breeze (or the a/c), with an amazing view at the bay. Do not forget to eat at the Porto Tavern, by the water, grilled fish and local delicacies.

Beautiful views, very quiet, great swimming in the bay, delicious and bountiful breakfasts. Effective AC. The couple who own the hotel have done a terrific job, we enjoyed chatting with the wife, Eriketi, and got a lot of great tips from her. Her husband, Adonis, is an artist and his paintings and artistic choices in indoor and outdoor design were wonderful. The woman who served breakfast and cleaned the rooms, Zamira, was absolutely delightful and so friendly!

The authentic architecture allowed us to travel back in time!! The great service and our comfortable room with the most amazing view guaranteed us an unforgettable holiday. Breakfast was rich and made with fresh local ingredients, room service was excellent and cleanliness a priority for staff an d management. Above all we'll remember our warm welcome and the friendly smiling faces!!

Very nice location at right in the bay of Porto Kagio. Enough parking. Each room has a terrasse or balcony with view of the bay.|The rooms are basic. There are dublex rooms that sleep 4 with steep stairs leading to the upper part and the balcony as well as one story rooms.|The bathroom is very very basic and small. Handheld shower, warm water heater that needs to be switches in before the shower. Basic, but functional.|Breakfast was good, cheese/ham toast, fruits, home made marmalade, eggs, cake, yoghurt.|All in all, if you like to be away from the bustle but still enjoy a nice view, good sea food (restaurant Porto is part of the family business) and take a dip in the sea this is the right place. If you are into luxury accommodation, that is not for you.

We absolutely loved this place. Our apartment was wonderful with two big beds on two floors and a great terrace overlooking the beautiful bay of Porto Kagio. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. We got it served directly on our terrace. Our host at the guesthouse was very friendly and welcoming. We can highly recommend this hidden gem in the Mani.

Beautiful rooms and exterior, perfect little retreat in this amazing hidden bay. We booked the room around 8pm and were welcomed with a smile after 9pm. Included breakfast was solid 👍🏻

We found Psamathous Guest House a delightful place to stay. Our bedroom was upstairs where we could sleep with the window open listening to the sounds of the wind and waves. The room was clean and had everything we needed.
