Psaras Tavern

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was excellent — the tzatziki, octopus, and calamari were all outstanding. The Greek salad was also very fresh and tasty. We ordered a mixed grill for two people, and it was generous enough to easily satisfy three. The local beer was very good as well. The waiters were very attentive, friendly, and happy to chat with us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My son saw the framed handwritten comments on the wall and wanted to write one himself. The waiter didn’t hesitate and immediately brought paper and a pen. My son wrote a note in Turkish with his childlike handwriting. A while later, the waiter came back and asked what it said, then told us, “We will print it and hang it on the wall.” It became a small but very beautiful memory for us. We were extremely satisfied and would definitely come back.

Authentic & cute with BIG PORTIONS. If you think you’re gonna order an appetizer and a main and finish both, GOOD LUCK!!!! Super cute on top of a hill, service is ok. It’s a tavern they did nothing extraordinary but everyone was nice. Food is good too. Fried Fish is tasteless though and they give mustard for dipping sauce WITH EVERYTHING. The blended fruit juices, AMAZING! Across the board it’s a nice place to experience.

We had the shrimp & Feta appetizer which was really good and had a touch of spice. I had the lamb with potatoes in gravy and it’s the best lamb I’ve ever had. My wife had the risotto and sea bass and it was amazing. My FIL had the lamb chops and Al’s said it was amazing. Overall the best meal I’ve had in year, all of this with an amazing view of the Acropolis

We went there in the evening as a group of three. We ordered a variety of dishes and tried many different things and everything was delicious. The atmosphere at night was amazing. If you’re planning a romantic dinner with your girlfriend you should definitely come here.

We tried our luck without a reservation and managed to get a table 💃🏽💃🏽 We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the city view . There was live music at the restaurant right below, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The food was generally tasty, the staff were polite, and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely recommended!

This is a lovely tavern and a must try to experience good food and views. We have the pork steak and chicken with potatoes, all freshly grilled. The staff were attentive and friendly. We would go again.

The atmosphere of the place is truly beautiful—very enjoyable and pleasant. The waiters were attentive and caring; I wouldn’t be exaggerating if I said it was the best service I received in Greece. However, the prices are extremely high compared to competitors. I was charged €4 just for what they called “bread for two.” Unfortunately, like many places in Greece, the food was served cold. The shrimp we had was ice cold. Paying €36.50 for one shrimp dish and a salad is incredibly overpriced. I don’t think I would choose this place again. The level of service and food quality did not match the price.

The food was ok but nothing spectacular. And the prices do not justify the quality of it. You're more likely paying for the view, which is in fact amazing.
