Consistent food, but inconsistent service - Jewel outlet can do better. Visited on a Sunday afternoon, place was packed but with 3-4 staff in a section I wouldn't think it is understaffed. While we were quickly ushered to our seats, able to place our orders smoothly, and promptly got our food; we had trouble getting assistance thereafter (for top up of water or sauces etc.) We had to call out to the staff a few times before they came, one of them even pretended to look away. When we asked the staff to help us take a photo, she seems reluctant and the photo was shabbily taken. When I made my reservation, I indicated we were here to celebrate our anniversary, I would appreciate a better photo taken. Our dessert also took a long time to come, but the managet did service-repair with an additional scoop of ice cream. P.S cafe has a good reputation overall, and my groups of friends enjoy celebrations at P.S cafe, but this experience has negatively impacted my image of P.S. - now I think PS cafe is kinda "over-rated".

As usual the food never fail to amaze me. Both the tomato and mushroom soup were delicious. Spaghetti was well done and my favourite was of course the sticky date pudding. Staff were attentive and gave us plates for sharing and frequently top up our ice water. PS Cafe quality always

Great vibes, with nice view of the waterfall. Salmon was great, calamari nice too but could be crispier, Japanese curry was alright, 1-4-1 mimosa was excellent. Service was friendly though a bit slow when crowds came in. Would go back again

Dropped by PS Cafe and had the aglio olio—simple, but done right. The pasta had a nice bite to it, and the garlic-oil balance was spot on. They don’t skimp on the chili either, so it had a nice little kick. The place has that clean, laid-back vibe, perfect for a chill catch-up or solo unwind. Service was friendly, and while it’s not the cheapest spot around, you do get what you pay for—solid food and a nice atmosphere. I definitely comeback to try their other menu.

Chalkboard menu: Pan Seared Maple Pork chop. Absolutely a miss for us. The first serve came with what seemed to be an undercooked pork chop (& rib). When checked with the supervisor (Dianne), we were told that it was supposed to be the texture we saw. But a minute later, when she saw us still uncertain about whether to continue eating that “somewhat undercooked piece of meat”, she offered to take it back to the kitchen and replaced a new plate for us. And so we agreed. When the ‘replaced’ plate came, my partner could immediately tell it was the same plate that they took it back earlier, which they recooked the “somewhat undercooked meat” and served them back at us. The rib had been unmistakably deep-fried, as it looked terribly charred, hard and super overcooked. We are regular clients at PS Cafe @Jewel and we liked the service and crew, namely Yoga and another friendly and attentive guy staff (didn’t get his name). Unfortunately, this was one of those misses where the food quality was subpar and the promise of replacing a new plate but being served the same plate of below-expectation dish was completely disappointing.

Update 28/03/25: Dear PS team, thank you for your reply. However, I have concerns sharing my contact number and email to a general email address where my personal data can be accessed by any of your team members and shared with others without my consent or knowledge. Besides, you have signed off as PS team without a specific name. Pls provide a specific name, contact number and email where I can reach the person-in-charge who will address my feedback. I will consider getting in touch with you then. ================================== Food - one of the items we had was the spaghetti crab mee goreng. I've attached the picture & description from the menu and the actual dish presented to us. This item is described as having fresh crab & king prawns, but there was NO crab meat at all in the actual dish. To avoid misleading customers pls change your description or inform your customer that crab meat is temporarily unavailable before they order. Service - Although crowded, the cafe had ample staff on duty. Yet it was difficult to catch the attention of the staff just to place our order. The QR code provided on the table is quite useless as you can only view the menu or make payment. Overall, it was not a good dining experience.

One of the restaurants I like to visit at Jewel. Relaxed atmosphere and nice cafe food. Would be better if we can scan to order and pay direct as it can be tough getting service staff attention when it's busy. Coffee is great.

My friends and I dined at PS Cafe Jewel. Ryder gave great suggestions to assist us in our order. I enjoyed the Prawn Aglio Olio in particular as well as the Sangria. Great ambience and prompt service.
