PS.Cafe Jewel

Visited PS.Cafe at Jewel and had an overall enjoyable dining experience, especially with the selection of starters and desserts. We ordered one of their specials - the baked Brie parcel paired with their corn and cheese croquette, and the courgette and basil casarecce. The baked Brie parcel was a highlight of the meal. The pastry was very light and flaky, and the Brie inside was rich without being overwhelming. It paired very nicely with the pomegranate sauce, which added a pleasant sweetness and slight acidity that balanced the dish well. The corn and cheese croquette was also well executed—crispy on the outside with a soft, creamy interior, and nicely seasoned throughout. It made for a satisfying and comforting starter. The courgette and basil casarecce, however, was a bit of a letdown. While the flavours were fresh and fragrant, the pasta itself was slightly too tough, which affected the overall enjoyment of the dish. The double chocolate blackout cake was easily the win of the day. Rich, indulgent, and deeply chocolatey without being overly sweet, it was the perfect way to end the meal. Would return again, especially for the starters and desserts, as well as the pleasant atmosphere at Jewel 😋.

One of the establishments that has consistently nailed down the quality of their food every single time. Their steak sandwich, an old favourite, is decently tender with a side of crisp shoestring fries that is honestly addictive. Though ever since we had the pleasure of having their seared barramundi with coconut grace our tastebuds, there was no going back. It has wonderfully crispy skin and flaky white meat that although was a little light on seasoning, the rich coconut sauce that is very similar in flavour profile to green curry but without the heat, more than made up for it. The rice was also coated with the same delicious sauce, with crunchy vegetable elements that provided a wonderful contrast of textures. Truly an amazing dish. Service is great particularly at the Jewel outlet, where the staff are friendly, patient and very attentive.

PS.Cafe @ Jewel serves delicious all-day meals with a great view. During my visit, the service was quick and efficient. My favorites were the rich and flavorful mushroom soup, the fresh and succulent miso black cod, and the indulgent double chocolate latte. Really enjoyed the laid-back ambiance and relaxing atmosphere — a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy good food.

PS Cafe is a place with great food and excellent service. We had their dessert this time round. And of course their fries. Yes, you read that right– with their truffle fries! 5/5 dark chocolate cake (with ice cream) 11.5/5 truffle fries 25/5 sticky date pudding (with ice cream) 100/5 service + atmosphere ⭐️ Will most definitely come back. Special mention to our server, Carie, u da best!

Wonderful service, delicious fries and balanced key lime pie. Slightly pricey but the premium is for the ambience. Free flow water and promptly topped up. Only gripe - we were seated "outdoors" and a caterpillar fell on our table, thankfully not in our food. Hope restaurant does something about it and prevents future such happenings. Quite a pity I couldn't give a 5 star review.

Food was quite poor in execution. Felt everything was prepared earlier and not fresh. Wouldn't go back, too many other great restaurants in Jewel. Cow and egg, toast was burnt, beef was very dry. Strawberry milkshakes a little too sweet. Wonton was great, pity was only one in the portion. Atmosphere is nice, server very polite, place looks great, just lacking the food quality. The menu reads great, just get a new chef to cook it.

Nice fusion of western and southeast Asian food. Good ambient. Service staff is always ready for the call. And to top it all, excellent cakes!

Last year, I first visited PS.Cafe at Harding Road, thanks to my teacher and her husband, and it was my very first brunch experience there. Recently, I returned with a friend to the Jewel outlet and enjoyed it just as much. We tried the burger and the mushroom soup, and both were outstanding — the burger was bursting with flavors, loaded with cheese and fresh ingredients, while the mushroom soup was creamy, rich, and incredibly comforting. The café has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the food is consistently delicious. It’s definitely one of my favorite brunch spots. The view is also beautiful, making it perfect for taking photos.
