This is one of the best places in Zakopane. I really don't know why this restaurant have not so high ratings. Food (golonka + potato on fire) was amazing delicious and pretty enough for 2 persons. Atmosphere inside very sweet, all restaurant made by wood, music is traditional polish. Prices for food are normal for touristic zone. So I can recommendation this place

It's a great place to dine in and taste some local food and brewery. Food was decent, service was great, I personally loved the design of dining area. I would come back there :)

Great traditional dishes in a themed atmosphere, beer on tap from the Watra brewery. Was there twice and each time enjoyed szaszłyk (shish kebab). The pork one was tastier than the mutton - better seasoning and more carefully grilled. I also recommend grule (grilled potatoes). Ironically, given the name of the restaurant (Mountain Trout) the trout filet was not as tasty as the szaszłyk. The golonka (pork hock) looked AMAZING, but I unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it. Service was friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed both visits and will come again (for golonka!) when I find myself in Zakopane.

I had the "Grilled pork shank" with roasted potatoes. The shank was a bit dry, but after a mountain hike, it paired very well with a cold beer. The flavors were authentic, and the overall experience was ok. Highly recommend for a post-hike meal!

Great little beer spot! The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. The beer menu is huge, and the hot wine was the perfect winter warmer. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

We stopped by for a quick lunch and had potato pancakes + beer. The food was nothing special, the pancakes were quite thick and not soft, but the beer was nice. I appreciate clean toilets and also clean inside, warm inside on the cold, damp day and what make this experience much nicer, was our waitress. I wish I asked for her name. Girl with long ponytail - she was the best - so attentive but not intrusive. Thank you for the local experience.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, don't trust the low reviews because it's bull. Service is upbeat and funny, the food we had was not only tasty but very filling. The balconies are smoker and dog friendly! Not to forget the amazing atmosphere. Will be definitely coming back, highly recommended. (I got the fish in garlic butter and roasted potatoes for anyone wondering)

No one who ate this from our friends was pleased !!!! It was the worst pork I have been eating in my life. No tasty smelly peace of yak and from bone it was brown it seems to me like old meet and stinky. Skin was not crispy as it should be it was like eating this dog Shar pei face🤦.Also, four portions with 12 pieces of skinny bread and 4 non alcoholic beer( 4 adults) of this none tasty piece of junky food price 93 euro🤦. I don't know, maybe other food is good but this was a very bad choice😐🤮. There was a young man serving us he was really nice to us, quite quick so for this young man 👍👌. For the schef cook 👎👎👎. Waste of money and time as well.
