The Binoculars, designed by artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, serve as the access point to the building designed by world famous architect Frank Gehry, who has its home in Santa Monica. The building is now the Los Angeles headquarters of Google.

You cannot take a picture because it's not public property. Security guard gave me a rough time. Be mindful and take picture from across the street. 😎😏

The best thing about the binoculars is that they were designed by the great Frank Gehry. If you are an architecture lover, this is worthy of a drive by and pic.

Meh, nothing to write home about. Possible Instagram fodder. Is business area though so lots of traffic.

The Binocular Building is actually Google's Venice Campus. It has a large sculpture of a Binocular in front of the building. The Binocular is actually an entrance to an underground parking garage.
The whole campus takes up the whole block. Unfortunately, you can't tour the inside unless you know someone who works there. However If you Google "Google Venice Campus" you can see images of the inside which is amazing. It must be nice to work for Google.

It‘s exactly what you‘d expect from some giant binoculars. The only downside is that you have to cross the street to be able to take a proper picture of it.

This enormous piece of art - giant binoculars - is attached to a Frank Gerhy designed building that currently houses Google. You can get a good photo of the binoculars from directly below it, or across the street. The setting sun works well on the binoculars for photographs.
Pro tip - Google even has offices INSIDE the binoculars!
