Great vibes. Watched the jays during dinner at a high window seated table. Service was great and standout experience of the whole evening! The ambience wasn’t too loud and the food was very tasty! Had the public Cesare salad, calamari, fig pizza with hot honey sauce (a must addition that the waitress recommended) and the spicy meat rigatoni! Highly recommend. We finished off with the tiramisu. We reserved in advance and got the late 10pm entry- there were big tables available though at this time.

Had an amazing time here yesterday with my friends. We came during happy hour (5pm-7pm) and the prices did no disappoint! We got the pepperoni pizza, zucchini fritte, Caesar salad, bruschetta, Caio Bella and each of us got our own espresso martini which is only $10 during happy hour. The bruschetta was really good, super light and airy. The pasta was very creamy & rich and the pizza was also very cheesy. The staff was also very kind and welcoming. The patio was really nice, prefect on a sunny day! Make sure you make a reservation if you can as they really busy especially on the weekends. The food was good but I don’t know if I would pay the original price for them. For example the usual price for their pepperoni pizza is $24 but $16 during happy hour. So definitely come during their happy hours, super worth it.

Public Gardens is such a great overall spot for pizza and pasta. It hard to find a place that does both good. The mushroom pizza we got was very good. The rigatoni was decent, definitely felt like it was missing a core ingredient maybe? The tiramisu however was the best tiramisu in Toronto by far. It has fun textures like solid hazelnuts, mouse and mascarpone. Still thinking about this The service was great! They gave us new napkins every time and also free Diet Coke refills. Definitely would come back!

Amazing food and service! Went here for a girls’ night and everything was perfect. We ordered all the waitress’s recommendations: the Caesar salad, Ciao Bella rigatoni, spaghetti pomodoro burrata, and the mortadella pizza - and loved every bite. The mortadella pizza was the standout (we all couldn’t stop talking about it!), with the spaghetti burrata coming in a close second. The tiramisu espresso martinis were delicious and strong, and the frozen Bellini pitcher was perfect for sharing between the four of us. Highly recommend!

My friend and I visited Public Gardens for the first time tonight for my birthday, and we had an amazing time and even better dining experience. The Ciao Bella was al dente and the tomato sauce was incredibly flavourful. The Caesar Salad was fresh, light, and had the perfect amount of bacon and cheese. And the drinks, especially the Aperol Sour, was to die for! Thanks to our server, Maeva, for being so attentive towards our dietary restrictions and offering us drinks on the house! 10/10 would recommend :)

So glad we stopped by here for a Sunday lunch. The rooftop is such a cute vibe, and details in the decor are spot on. Got the caeser salad and spaghetti which were both excellent (enough to split between 2). Shoutout to Omar at the bar who made a perfect Aperol Spritz, was super attentive and recommended the Tiramisu which may have been the best we’ve had. Will definitely be back

Absolutely amazing, amazing, amazing! The vibes, the atmosphere, the food, the service — everything was perfect. We had to wait a little for a table, but it was 100% worth it. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, the pasta was delicious, and the drinks were spot on. The patio is absolutely stunning — such a beautiful place to relax and enjoy. It’s worth every penny. I’m definitely coming back!

Absolutely love the vibe at Public Gardens! I’ve been there a few times already, but this last visit was extra special – I sat on the patio for the first time and had such a great experience. The ambiance is super chill and cozy, perfect for catching up with friends. I highly recommend their Public Caesar – it’s honestly perfect, one of the best I’ve ever had. We always try different dishes, but the Public Caesar is definitely the highlight. A must-try! Everything about the place just feels good – can’t wait to go back!
