Excellent location, in the heart of everything, great choices and variety of dishes, from vegetarian to the full meat eater spectrum, we had a variety of dishes so we could appreciate a big portion of the menu, from the tortas de carne en salsa verde, las croquetas rellenos de queso Oaxaca, salads and even the already prepared sandwiches have a home style cooking flavor that takes you back to memory lane, when I was a kid enjoying Mom's cooking... Great service and prices and a great experience, Don't miss this place if you live/ work/ or passing by in this area

Stopped at Público for a late lunch, a delicious and enjoyable experience. The comedor has a creative and varied menu in a casual and refreshing atmosphere that allows for indoor and outdoor seating. I started with the Arroz Verde con Huevo Estrellado (soup), delicate, creamy; so delicious. I then had the Colita de Res: the meat is so tender, the mole complex and flavorful; what a wonderful dish. We finished off with one of their signature coffees (Agavero) and Arroz con Leche for dessert. The staff and service was very attentive and friendly, I will definitely be returning!

Excellent food and friendly, efficient service. Family of four ordered: Lettuce spinach salad with salmon. Delicious vinaigrette dressing. Beef meatballs Beef milanesa. Surprisingly not too heavy 4 bottles of water Total excluding tip $615 pesos.

What to eat in Mexico City and around Polanco? I've got another recommendation for you... Saw this place on Andrew zimmern delicious destination when he was in Mexico City... Decided to try it out and it was totally worth it A la care plates, it's better that way so you can try a variety of plates... so come hungry... Had coffee and fresh made almond bread, fresh made because they have a bakery inside the restaurant...

Authentic, creative and tasty Mexican food. Started the amazing experience with the soup of the day, "tortilla soup," holy smokes! Followed the soup with a Kale y Fruta de estación con vinagreta de piña, chile y anís salad; insane. Continued with a cecina de res Huarache Estilo De Mexico, it was to die for. Lastly, for dessert, the Shaken Carajillo Expresso and arroz con leche were a great way to close out a superb meal at Público Comedor.

By chef Pablo Salas, the place is located on a charming side street in Polanco. Many god things on the menu and specialty is breaded steak and oxtail dishes. Came here for a brunch around 11 on a Friday. Very chilled atmosphere. Decided on mushroom soup, breaded steak torta and a coconut fresca. With outdoor seating on a beautiful, sunny day, the food, atmosphere and experience is perfection.

I was walking along Moliere and noticed this restaurant. It reminded me of Eno in its style and aesthetic, which I love, and it was lunch time, so I decided to stop in. The space is open and clean. The servers are friendly. I ordered the enfrijoladas with chicken and cheese. When I ordered a coffee, the server told me it was included in the price (excellent)! The food was delicious and it was a lovely lunch. Since the Yelp page was a bit weak, I thought I should update with some new photos.

Good for breakfast, but not inexpensive. Located in a very nice area. Avacado toast with salmon was excellent.

Place had so much potential. Great look, amazing sounding menu, and good prices. The problem was just the lack of staff. One person was working the register, servicing food, and busing tables. As a result, good was served cold and out of order (coffee well after meal was brought over). All that said, I am going to assume it was just a bad day because the food was good.

Do not recommend! My friends and I are staying on the next block and came here to grab some dinner to go, and when we got home, not only were our orders nothing like described on the menu, but the food was terrible.
