Publix Super Market at Bowie Commons

I was starting a crash diet the next day trying to get ready for Memorial Day weekend, but tonight, I wanted a piece of carrot cake! So I call ahead, because I was coming from out of town almost an hour away, to make sure they had it. The deli informed me they only had one piece left! So shout out to my hero, Heather, for putting it up for me until I got there! Very cool people at this store. 💯💯

Fantastic place that has everything, more than you need. It's never been too crowded and the customer service is fantastic. Every single employee has been kind and helpful. They have a Pharmacy and you can even get your vaccine shots, and a station to check your blood pressure and weight. Our favorite things are the chicken wings from the deli ordered hot and fresh, the pineapple slicer machine and produce, and fresh sushi

The bakery department here is fantastic to work with, and Sabrina in particular is so helpful! I went in not exactly sure what I wanted in a birthday cake, and she helped me figure that out!

I go here for subs mostly. They always call me by my name. Very polite and respectful. They always apologize for you waiting. For me this is the only bakery that I will get my bread from. Even though it is a 45 min drive from my house my family loves their fresh bread. You can't get that at Walmart nor Krogers. I wish they had more Publix's.

This store is always neat and clean. Their shelves are always fully stocked, the bakery and produce items always fresh.

We had to pickup in the drive through and usually it will take a few minutes to do but not today very fast and the line is moving forward ⏩

Clean store, well stocked, staff friendly, but if you order a sub online go ahead an add an extra 15 minutes to your order time because my orders have never once been ready on time.

Very clean and well organized. It's cheaper than Kroger as far as price.

Publix is my new favorite grocery store . The produce is always fresh and very good selection . They have interesting things to choose from in produce . But what made me fall in love is the cavatellis in frozen section . I have had a hard time finding them in Nashville . They also have a fantastic fish section . Only complaint is I won't buy farm raised fish . They do have wild caught though too . And the many many flavors of mentos gum is chefs kiss . I also enjoy the soups in the deli , bakery and fresh flowers and potted flowers . Bakery is Probaly the best you're gonna find in Nashville . The cakes and pasteries are very pretty . They offer vegan options on cookies which is much appreciated.

Things have changed, and not for the better. I still shop here because we don't have a lot of options in Fairview. But it seems like none of the department heads can figure out how to place accurate orders. They are consistently out of stock, even ad items. Tired of the 'covid supply chain issues' excuse. It's 2024, get a handle on your stock and ordering. The morning after a new ad starts and 3 of the 6 items I went in for they did not have. This has been an ongoing issue for a couple years. Lots of young staff who prefer to talk amongst themselves. The Fairview location does not have the same service standards Publix prides themselves on, and the consistent issue with not having *advertised* stock on hand makes the 14 mile drive to Kroger more appealing every week.

You get what you need. There is a good variety of groceries. There are good sales to be found. The cashiers are friendly. We were even helped with our bags and loading up our car. It was conveniently located along the way to the cabin we were staying at for the weekend. And with a quick stop at a liquor store just up the street (because of Tennessee liquor laws) we didn't have to make a second trip.

Publix has got it down when it comes to grocery stores! Especially this one! If you're like me, you really don't enjoy going to the grocery store for numerous reasons such as these. Carts often don't work properly (squeaky wheel am I right?) Lines are long, staff can be hit or miss, you don't find what you're looking for, store can be dirty etc. Well this Publix location is my go to anytime I'm in Fairview and need to grocery shop. Which can be often. No store is perfect, but this one is great! Here's why! Staff is engaging and kind, I generally find what I'm looking for, the carts work and there's plenty, they actually have clerks at the checkout! Not just self checkout and 1-2 clerks like some other grocery stores I won't name here. I don't know about you, but I prefer to not bag and scan my own groceries. It's why I don't shop at certain types of stores. This store is always clean! Everywhere too! Not just most places. I think I've been to this store about five different times at this point. Great job to whoever runs this store at this time and their staff.

We have had nothing but awesome experiences here. Wonderful, kind staff. Immaculate, well stocked store. Quality produce, dairy products, and meats. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and they are our go to market for virtually all of our grocery needs.

I was out running some long-distance errands this past weekend and stopped in. Was quite surprised to find paczki in the bakery. If you know what they are, you'll understand how surprised I was to find them around here. I grabbed two boxes. One marked raspberry (my favorite) and one marked apple. I managed to hold off until the morning and popped the seal on my box of raspberry paczki, hoping to have one with my morning tea. Imagine my surprise to taste apple filling. Popped the seal on the box marked apple and turns out those were custard filled. So, they fucked up at least twice. It didn't seem prudent to drive 30 miles to complain and then 30 miles back home for a $5 mistake. Technically, I *did* get half of what I paid for. By sheer dumb luck maybe, but still... I emailed the corporate customer care department. Slammed them on their facebook wall and also their twitter feed. Finally got a response from corporate today. Boilerplate apology, a promise of a gift card, and a plea for a second chance. They asked for my mailing address. Which I had to provide in the initial email. Way to make me feel like you're really paying attention. So...not a big fan of Publix.

I love Publix! I especially like this particular location. It's a brand new store, so everything is nice and clean. All of the employees are incredibly polite and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for. When you are ready to check out, they will empty your cart for you and once you've paid, they push the cart to your car to help you unload it. The produce that Publix carries is high quality. I prefer to buy produce here over any other grocery store in my area. They also carry high quality meats. What else can I say? I love it!

Probably the best Publix I've ever been in, which is saying a lot as I've been in a lot of Publixes all across the south and they're all just great. This one might take the cake though. My experience here has been that of a pleasant, free, clean, well lit, and lovely store. The staff are all very helpful and kind and they are always eager to help me and direct me to find whatever it is I'm looking for. I really like that about this store. The staff here are all quite nice and fun to be around. I usually get into a nice long conversation with them and chat for several minutes at a time. Not to mention the produce selection is always stellar and the deli food is fantastic. Love!

This is far better than shopping at the new Walmart. If you are familiar with the store forget everything you know as they just rearranged the entire store.

Publix is great in general, and this location is no exception. Living in hickman county, it was always easier to drive to Dickson for everything, however I now almost exclusive do my large grocery shopping here. In addition to the nice selection, the staff is always so helpful and nice.

The employees are always friendly, their groceries are always fresh and it is in a perfect location, and it gives younger people the chance to get a good paying job that is easy and fun... Publix is usually kind of expensive, but like i said their supplies and groceries are fresh and delicious!
