My curbside pickup included a couple of subs. I got there at my pickup time and my shopper called me and said that the deli said it will be a 10 to 15 minute delay. Did I want to wait? Or cancel? I said I’d wait. 15 minutes later the subs were cancelled and not by my shopper.
I feel like deli was hoping I’d cancel because of the delay and when I didn’t, they decided to cancel. I was really angry. I called and they kept saying that my shopper had to have done it, but he didn’t! They suggested not ordering subs through curbside, but I’m on crutches and walking is hard. Still angry.
