Publix Super Market at Tallywood Shopping Center

The grocery store itself is nice and has a good selection for everyday shopping. It's clean and there are plenty of options to choose from. Where this place falls short, in my opinion, is the deli area. The food itself isn’t bad, but the atmosphere behind the counter feels uncomfortable. The staff seem like they’d rather be anywhere else and don’t appear to enjoy working together, which makes the whole experience feel awkward while they’re preparing your food. A little more friendliness and teamwork from the deli staff would go a long way toward improving the experience. Otherwise this would be a 5 star.

Quite unsatisfied with my experience at the deli today. Stopped in for what I thought would be two quick sandwiches and instead waited in line for almost forty minutes while the employees moved without any kind of urgency and then quite literally walked away from the long line of customers. When my sandwiches were finally being made it was with unpleasant attitude and then halfassed when I was handed cold sandwiches straight from the warmer? Definitely not satisfied, hangry and irritated.

Just left from getting the Sweet B chicken Philly DONT GET IT. It isn’t chicken it lunch meat ( not what’s used in Philly subs) razor thin green pepper and a speck of mushroom it says they put a lemon garlic aïoli doesn’t taste like it. It’s limp small and odd at best. It tastes like celery in a sweet lunch meat marinade. Good Philly subs don’t exist in NC!! Save the time and $12 and make it properly at home. So disappointed

A shop here a lot and before Covid, they offered carry to your card groceries and a lot more customer service or orientated The store is always nice and clean and we still shopped there every day. I’ve just noticed after Covid they never recovered their customer service level.

Publix has always been my favorite store since I lived in Florida. Wide aisles, tremendous selection, the most tasty meats, and a fresh produce selection worthy of a painting. On my last visit, it was filled with people shopping for the holiday celebrations 2 days before Christmas, lots of people rushing for last minute items for their meals but the staff was still so upbeat, personable & happy to serve the Customers. Everyone was smiling & happy, all check out aisles open. Publix in Fayetteville is an excellent grocery and their sales are second to none!! Try it once and you won’t go anywhere else.

When you’re disabled, a parent, and trying to hold it all together — even a simple grocery trip can be exhausting. That’s why I love finding wellness wins right at Publix 💚 Grabbed groceries and aromatherapy in one stop. Because disabled doesn’t mean undeserving of peace. #SuperParentMode still needs soft moments.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the Raeford Road location. I have contacted the store multiple times to set up a recurring order for a specific item. Each time I was told it would be ordered, yet when I returned to purchase it, there was always an excuse and the item had not been stocked. I gave the store four opportunities to correct the issue, but unfortunately the situation never improved. Due to the repeated lack of follow-through, I have decided to take my business to Harris Teeter. I have always associated Publix with reliability and strong customer service, which makes this experience especially disappointing. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve communication and consistency for future customers.

New location going in just beside Jack Britt HS. We went into this location to see what they have and pick up a few things. Their sushi looks really good.... plus it looks like it's a bit cheaper than HT. 😉 I've heard their subs are really good so I'd like to try them.

While in North Carolina, I was surprised when I found a Publix so far away I only thought they existed in Florida. I loved it because I felt I was home well stocked, clean, and with great Customer Service. The food choices were super awesome.

I stopped in here to grab lunch and some water. It's a nice store, similar set up to most other Publix stores. The deli took a little long to get service, but was delicious as usual.

I went in cause I heard they'd steam your seafood for you and they did. The price was really good and it was really good quality. The person at the seafood counter was super helpful and was quick as well. I liked going in and the look of the place and scenery overall was good. I will be back.

This is my second time placing a deli/catering order in advance and they cancel my order. This time I ordered gifts for my mother grandmother and mother in law for Mother's Day.placed the order on Thursday to pick up on Saturday 2pm and they cancelled it saying they are fully booked. If you're booked why am I even allowed to place an order in a time slot?

I ordered my daughter's bday cake on Tuesday to be picked up Saturday and on Thursday 2 days before the party I got a call letting me know they have to cancel because the slot was full. In the message they only have slots after 5 so I went up there an then it changed to they only have slots after 8pm!!! Are you kidding me then the only thing they could offer was for me to buy a cake and have someone write on it but if that's what I wanted I could've went to a regular foodlion or Walmart and got that if that's what I wanted but I went online to bakery catering for a specific themed cake for my daughters themed party. This is unacceptable being that I've worked for a grocery store for over 7 years as a bakery manager and we make it right for the customer and they did not . My babies bday is ruined because she picked the cake SHE wanted and now with no time to spare I have to figure out what to do with no time at all. Maybe get your online system together and block out times and dates that aren't available for the customer!! I will never get a cake made from Publix and will be blasting them on all platforms..cause looking at all the reviews this has been an ongoing issue for a while and nobody does anything to fix it!!

Publix sells clean food for a reasonable price including a great dealnog non-Gmo food that research shows is harmful to the body. I was ordering at Amazon until I went to Publix and saw they beat a lot of Amazon prices, such as low-mercury skipjack tuna for $1.99/can and Amazon was $3.99/can in bulk. Their organic produce is a little high, except for when they have organic blueberries and strawberries on sale. Non-dairy, coconut cream yogurt is very good w/good prices. Grass fed steaks are juicy and delicious. If on a budget, you can shop here just be careful. They have excellent sells and markdowns. I highly recommend it.

If your pick up for catering is at 10am come at 1pm it may be ready then or you may have to wait another 3 hours. I'm still here

This is a great place to get a sub if you have an hour to kill. We stayed in line for an hour to get 2 subpar subs made. The deli employee decided to have a 30 minute conversation with a customer while making her 2 simple subs..it should've taken him 5 mins since one sub was ham and cheese(that's it). Then they proceeded to be out of ham when I needed my sub made. Also since when is oil and vinegar not offered as an option? Oh wait, because they "ran out." You're in a grocery store..go get some off the shelf to restock. So another 5 mins added on. Employee couldn't remember my order seconds after telling him. Will not be back. I've been to many Publix in SC and have noticed any Publix with elderly workers run way faster and more smooth than the ones with young employees.

I ordered a sushi platter for a themed Xmas party 2 or 3 wks in advance. I went to go pick it up and they didn't have it. I wasn't the only one they screwed over either. They were very nonchalant of the massive inconvenience they caused. Don't trust them to have your order done. I'd give them a zero star but I have to give them 1. So pissed about their customer service and lack of it

I will never order or shop at this publix again their bakery is terrible and their 24 hour is a scam don't trust it I rather go to foodlion or any where else from here on out and there managers are a joke

This location is absolutely lovely; it's like the service flows without confusion, and that's why I enjoy shopping here. Also, the meat department....10 out of 10 ! I will be back!

Had such a great and relaxing experience at Publix today. I just came in to take advantage of the bogo sale and use my $5 coupon, but left with a big smile on my face. From my first step in the store I was warmly greeted by staff members and from the time I left the same occurred. I love when Publix has their buy one, get one free sale as I clean up on items I may have never tried if it was not for this sale. I got some kombucha, spinach, milk, yogurt, and hummus all for around $11. Why $11?!? Because they have a great price guarantee that if the price of items do not come up correctly that they give it to you for free. So, I was able to get two of the kombuchas for free as they did not ring up as bogo. The manager and the staff took care of me and made me feel so welcome and cared for. I haven't experienced this at the grocery store for a while. I just wish my budget would allow me to shop at Publix when everything is not on sale--love the store and the experience, but not the prices. But, you know I will be back soon!!!!

Awesome customer service. Everyone is very friendly. I love the positive vibes from that store. I'm always coming back. Their food is so delicious especially their cookies for the kids and Cuban sandwich

what is happening with the quality of Publix? I always order my deli and sub orders online so they are ready when I get there. I give them about a two hour notice. this is the third time I got there and the order was not even started. there were 4 employees, one was working her tail off while the other three talked. the young man that took care of me acted like I was a bother. I already wrote to home office once on this issue and got nowhere. they have now lost my business. what a shame because I loved this store

Very disappointed in the deli service today. I placed my order on line and picked up on time however upon getting to our destination found that one of our sandwiches wasn't made. They made 2 of the same in stead of 1 ultimate sub And 1 BLT. Then I asked for avocado in my sandwich and I got tiny cubes of unripe avocado​. Also, the tomatoes were not put into the sandwich but laid on the top of the bread making the sandwich mushie. The quality has gone down. So disappointing The Deli also had no potato wedges but as always, the fried chicken was delicious.

I have trouble finding my babies formula in stock in different Walmarts, but this store always has it in stock.

I had an event coming so I placed an order from the deli/Catering for a 50 piece chicken box, a few days later we went to pick it up and brought it home and this is what was giving to me!!! You couldn't even pick up the chicken, that skin a falling off the meat looked pink! I was super disgusted because I CANT BELIEVE THEY HAVE GIVEN US SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! My event was in a few hours so i called and talked to the manager and he told me that he can replace the chicken with party wings *which is the last picture on the bottom* he said if the breader was the problem then we can cook them naked I agreed i ask him will there be flavor to the chicken he said yes!!! We got the chicken home an hour before the event and that was the most flavorless chicken I've ever eaten!! Super disappointed that we had to surve our guess this chicken. So if your looking for chicken for an event skip this place!

Is there a reason that the younger bagging girl with long braids was heard saying "White trash" by me. I was standing away so I did not hear the context but those words are enough to know this is inappropriate behavior by an employee or person. The store looks nice and clean, a lot of options for products but this left a very bad taste in my mouth before consuming the groceries I bought.

Publix is a very nice boutique-style grocery. The fresh flower department when I first walked in the door was the thing that made me know I was going to like it. On a slightly down note, however, I am still looking for groceries down here that cater more to gluten-free needs. I'd also like to find more organic fare available.

I'm a Native Floridian so I have been shopping at Publix my whole life. I was so excited when publix came to Fayetteville but unfortunately the quality I was accustomed to in Florida did not carry over into North Carolina. This is the second time I've gotten wings from Publix and found raw chicken.. red raw chicken! It's absolutely disappointing and disgusting.. after today I'm done.

I ordered a customized birthday cake for my grandsons 3rd birthday from the Fayetteville store off Raeford Rd. After some initial problems we got it figured out. I ordered online so it sent my order to the catering dept. instead of the bakery so there was some confusion about the design and toy that went on the cake but like I said we got that straightened out. The cake was awesome! The icing was just the right amount of sweet (ordered buttercream icing) and sometimes it's too sweet but theirs was great. The cake was moist and had a good flavor to it. Definitely will buy from them again.

I do a lot of grocery pick up and it's always smooth sailing. They bring out the groceries in a timely manner and I have not had a problem with missing items. The staff are always friendly, and the store is pretty clean. Always a pleasant shopping trip at this location.

Very organized, clean, friendly, and well stocked. While grocery store shelves remained clear of bread, Publix had the brilliant idea to fill their bread aisle with their fresh baked loaf's sliced sandwich thin. Interestingly, as new as this location is, during our shopping for needed items, we had several people mention we check Publix. The produce department maintains high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables. This store maintained superior customer service as they had excellent teamwork in keeping their aisles well stocked, cleaned, and organized during a very hard time within our community. This grocery store is undoubtedly well managed.

Publix is my favorite grocery store-- hands down, hands up. I drove 40mins from Lumberton, NC to shop at this Publix. This is a fairly new location but it definitely lives up to the Publix brand. I received the same personable service as I have from most Publix experiences. This location has a huge wine section with a Wine Specialist on hand to assist with any questions. The weekly specials were well-stocked. As always, I enjoyed my visit.

I called my sub order in 20 minutes before picking up and had them repeat the order back. Got to deli 3 people working behind counter, since they asked when i would be there I assumed it would be ready. I get to counter they have no clue..make my order wrong and only have 1/2 my order written all 4 subs were wrong. So I go to front counter ask why do you take call in orders to not have them ready with 3 people working there and its not busy. The woman at Customer Service looks and says "oh wow" nothing else. I look at her and go really??? She still has nothing to say... Never ever will I go and use that Deli again. Worse part I asked for Publix brand and got all boars head.. If your head is not at work stay home!!!

Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich. Pub subs, I recommend the chicken tender sandwich, are always fresh, filling and made by really nice people. The interior is super clean. Publix has a good inventory of staple foods and a variety of specialty goods. I am especially fond of their meat counter. The butchers are always up to suggest a good cut of meat for dinner or even provide inspiration to make an otherwise boring baked chicken into something tasty. Solid grocery store. Fresh meat and produce. I love the sandwiches so much, I go solely to Publix for lunch sometimes.

Today was my worse experience at Publix seafood section. If you don't want to we've ppl don't work there. I have never experienced this before and it was very unpleasant!

I miss Publix more than ANYTHING from the south - and we have 2 adult kids still living in Florida. My husband and I will be in Fayetteville N.C soon and I can not wait to hit Publix!! I may stay all day. I'll give managment a heads up on why I'm crying tears of joy and filling a cart with Publix sweet tea as not to freak them out!! Soo if you live in the North East like we do now it's pretty much hit or miss with your local grocery stores. We are in the Pocono area. Good Shop Rite there but not as good as a Publix so no need to go the extra mile for so so. NONE of the markets bag or carry out your order. No awesome Publix subs no pre ordering anything. Honestly if there was one an hour away I'd be happy to make the drive for all that Publix offers!! Clean clean clean stores outstanding customer service and the list of I love them goes on and on.

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced particularly from the pharmacy. The clerk literally hung up on me and told me to call tricare when I inquired why I was being charged for an Rx i have never been charged for. When tricare called back on a three way call she was rude, said I could have handled this days ago when my Rx was initially ready and said she didn't have time to sit on the phone with tricare to resolve the issue because she was too busy. Well excuse me Publix, guess I can take my pharmaceutical needs elsewhere.

I go into Publix almost everyday and spend about 60 to 80 bucks. I usually bypass the deli as they work at a snails pace and there is only one person in the meat department. There was only two people in line, so I decided to wait. I waited 25 minutes while 3 other employees in the vicinity were doing what, nothing!!! I went to talk to that gal at customer service to leave feedback. She admitted that other employees think the deli doesn't operate the way it should. I agreed, and mentioned it was not my first time with this experience. So the customer service employee called the manager and "Manager Matt" came out to give me a do nothing apology and to lecture me on the deli needing to follow procedure. So until your procedure is to put more staff on, you can save your lecture when you try and graduate from your next cracker jack box managerial academy. I left with nothing after spending 30 minutes in the store. Publix is no longer my go to place with an attitude like that after an unreasonable wait time at the turtle deli. Matt/Deli = F minus.

Excellent customer service. I stopped in this morning to kill time during an oil change and didn't pass a worker that didn't take time to acknowledge me. A woman putting out sandwiches stopped what she was doing to help me find my Harvest Snaps. The cashiers were waiting at the top of their lanes to greet me. Oona (listed on my receipt) checked me out and asked if I found everything okay. A team member even stepped over to bag my groceries. I usually don't shop at Publix but I'll be sure to put it on the radar due to the level of customer service I received here. The prices were normal so it's really not a reason to go elsewhere.

I never thought I'd write a review for a supermarket but I gotta give it to this Publix. I'm a little picky about the meat I buy (prefer humanely raised, etc.), and while I was at the deli counter, a manager came by, asked if I needed help, and said that if they didn't have what I wanted, he would try to get it stocked. It turns out that they do have a couple of humanely sourced meats (e.g., Applegate sausage), which is more than I can say for Food Lion, which has exactly zero. A couple of other people at the store helped me with some other things, and they were all really nice. The store is very clean, decent prices and selection. I like that you don't have to have a loyalty card or sign up for anything -- if something is on sale, it's that simple. Somehow, I left the store in a better mood than when I walked in. I'm not saying that this Publix is therapy, but it's a better experience than other supermarkets.

This is an amazing grocery store. When I walk in, I am almost blinded by the shiny sparkling floor. The store is always clean and shelves are stocked. The produce department stocks a plentiful variety. The meat counter is sheer perfection and of top quality meat/seafood. There is no other grocery store around here that can beat the customer service. Publix has the absolute BEST employees! I am always greeted with a friendly and sincere employee. This is my favorite grocery store!

Most of my experience with Publix comes from my visits to Kissimmee/St. Cloud where the friends I was visiting (and I) would go to Publix to stock up on groceries for my week-long visits. I hoped Publix would come to Fayetteville, NC, and they did not long ago. I have found Publix to have reasonable prices, a good variety of stock, good service, and fairly competitive with other grocery stores in the area. Every Publix I have been in has been well-lit and well-arranged.

I'm a big nutrament vanilla fan. Most stores don't have it so I was stoked when I found out there was a Publix near where I live in Fayetteville. One day last month I decided to go shopping late at night to pick up those and some other food. Well I make a bee line to the pharmacy and pick up the drinks. It must have triggered somebody because all of a sudden there is this African American Manager who will not leave me alone. Doing the general "how you doing sir." Every few minutes. Well I'm walking down aisles looking for deals and wouldn't you know this guy just always happens to be right behind or in front of me. Made my way all the way to the deli on the other side of the store and picked up a chicken, look who is there, same guy. Then finally I'm ready to go pay for my groceries and this dude is walking lock step with me. Already annoyed I go over to the self checkout. By the time I'm done paying for my things, he just happens to be at the front now "just hanging out." I was so close to yelling at him but I just left. Been too pissed to go back since. Eventually I will come back and when I do, this happens again I'm snapping photos and going straight to corporate.

100 stars!! I went here to have my gender reveal cake done and I loved it!! I met with the lady that takes all your catering orders, showed her my photo and she was so helpful! My order was placed along with a few more items and it was ready on time and all if this without the slightest headache. The deli is my next favorite spot. I wish there was a location in Spring Lake (wink). When you're spoiled and used to having a Publix at almost every corner, you take it for granted until there's pretty much only one available to you. Staff are always friendly and the store is always clean!

I really appreciate the clean, thoughtful layout of the store. Fresh veggies, fruits and baked goods will keep me coming back.

This is our neighborhood store and it definitely lives up to the Publix name i came to love from Florida. I will happily pass Harris Teeters any day to receive the smiles and helpful nature of the staff at Publix. The store is always clean, and I can't get through the store without multiple staff asking if i got a piece of free fruit or cookie for my kids. The bakery, wine, and seafood departments really make a special effort. The seafood personnel even cater to my son who loves to look at the lobsters up close. Prior to COVID their daily in store Aprons cooking display was a favorite. I think the store has done a decent job with COVID under the circumstances too (though i do wish they would require staff to wear a face-mask). Over the months and years these people are almost like extended family - a trait that is so valued in a military community. The managers are always visible and i have always had any customer service issue rapidly addressed. Two suggestions - consider a coffee bar in or near the store so i don't have to use the Starbucks at Harris teeter and then get back in the car to shop at Publix , a clearer line for the deli vs subs- there was a mob of confused people last time i was there. Keep up the great work y'all!

In the last couple of days I have visited the Raeford rd. store twice to purchase a variety of seafood for bouillabaisse. Included was lobster,crab legs, large sea scallops,shrimp, clams, fish and additional items that looked good for it . They had all of the items that I was looking for. On both occasions I waited for a customer service employee to help me. No one ever ask . So today I had to visit 3 other stores to get everything that was looking for. Overall the store is very nice, clean, and well stocked but if you want to get seafood you better bring a pole and some bait with you. Well enough ........ time to get cooking.

Great selection of fresh, healthy food. Particularly impressed with good variety of fresh produce. You can purchase most of their fresh fruit & vegetables peeled, sliced & packaged! There's a deli & bakery with a nice selection of meats, side dishes & desserts. The staff was impressively helpful & knowledgeable. I was happy that someone remains available in the produce dept to answer questions. There's a small area with fresh seafood including salmon, lobster, etc. Again, lknowledgeable staff is readily in this department also. The wine department has an employee who's able to explain the wines & show the location. Actually this store has knowledgeable staff throughout the store! I don't look forward to grocery shopping but find this store makes it less grueling. I avoid Walmart because there's rarely an employee available and when an employee is found, they usually don't know how to help. Welcome to Fayetteville, Publix! We're so glad you're here!!!

Publix only gets one star due to the lack of professionalism by the cashiers and baggers. Just ridiculous after I'm already paying higher prices than most neighborhood chain grocery stores especially due to the areas they selectively prefer to cater to. I definitely didn't and don't appreciate the unwanted attitude. This is not how you conduct yourself in public or in Publix period. What happened to the community? Sad....All of that over ten items.

This is my favorite supermarket!! The management here is very helpful and willing to assist customers. Management do the same task as their checkout people, I love the spirit of this store!! Favorite favorite place to shop.
