Púder Bárszínház

Went to Puder for lunch. Waitstaff was welcoming, spoke English, and menus in English were available. Ordered the Sweet potato pancakes and the Beef goulash soup. Both were tasty. A cool place for food or to relax and have a beverage.

The decoration and the overall atmosphere of this place is very nice, and the food delicious! However, the service was extremely slow. Perhaps it's because we were a big international group (almost 20 people), but again, it took almost one hour to get our drinks (mostly sodas and beers) :( I had their gulyás, which was OK, but not the best I've tried in Budapest. Their lángos, on the other hand, is really tasty!

Wow! Just wow! The tenderloin is the best thing I’ve ever put I’m my mouth! The service was on the slower side but my word is it worth the wait, my partner had the Mexican burger and said the same. We stumbled upon this place as it was the only thing open late. Will 100% be returning

Great bar with excellent food! The drinks are beautifully made. Went there more than once on the same trip to Budapest. We had the Rosé duck and the pork loin. Super delicious.

I have just spent an absolutely fantastic evening with friends at this fantastic place. We were served by a delightful young man by the name of Christophe who was full of smiles, friendly and eager to serve us. We had two Aperol Spritz and 2 local draught beers and then ordered some food. My friends had the goulash soup main. One of these friends is gluten free and they were only too happy to accommodate her. I had the pork loin wrapped in bacon with pea purée and a host of other delicious items. The food was excellent and the chef should be commended. It looked great and tasted even better. The atmosphere of the restaurant hole place was brilliant. Very busy, (and deservedly so), with an eclectic mix of people. Inside it is quirky and interesting. There’s an upper floor and a lower floor with a barrel vaulted ceiling which was fabulous. We sat outside. Again quirky takes and benches, busy with happy chatter from the customers. We had a brilliant night out and will be visiting again. The bill for all our food and drinks came to 25,500 huff, about £55 for the three of us. We will definitely visit again before we leave this wonderful city or cities to be precise. If you come to Budapest, seek out this place, you will not be disappointed. Thank you bar Puda for a great night out. John.

Amazing not touristy gem! The goulash is fabulous, so so tasty! The bread with dips and it was also 10/10. Also had thre chicken paprika. Our waiter was very nice and answered all our questions.

We had such a great time! Peter was an amazing server (the best!!!! :) )— super friendly and attentive. The burgers were delicious, and the cocktails were spot on. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for good vibes and great food

Good food and atmosphere, but skip the cocktails. We had a really nice dinner at Púder. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, with lots of people and a cool interior that made for a fun dining experience. We tried the cod steak with hollandaise sauce, asparagus, roasted potatoes, and colorful tomatoes — it was really tasty and well-prepared. The goulash bowl was good, but I expected a bit more flavor or richness. Unfortunately, the Hugo cocktails were disappointing — they didn’t taste like a proper Hugo at all, and it seemed like there was no prosecco in them. It was very busy when we visited, so we had to wait a bit longer than usual, but that’s understandable given the crowd. Overall, a great spot for dinner with good food and vibes — but I’d skip the cocktails next time.
