We just spent one of the best week long vacations here! I definitely love the all-inclusive feature…the only way this mama gets a true vacation when traveling with kids😄 No worries about cooking, cleaning, etc. this resort has thought of it all. Even on our last day we had a late flight and we got to continue to enjoy the pool and the ocean. We closed out our all-inclusive account before noon with a late checkout but could still use the pool and swim in the ocean until it was time to leave for the airport. The dining staff and poolside service staff were all so kind and attentive making each day relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here! My kids have thanked us numerous times for bringing them here❤️

Just got back from a stay at Pueblo Bonito Rose and honestly, what made the trip so great was the staff—especially our server, Adal. He was the absolute best! Super friendly, always attentive, and really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. You could tell he genuinely cared and enjoyed what he does. Every time we saw him, he greeted us like old friends and remembered all our little preferences, which made everything feel personal and easy. Adal really made our experience special—we’re still talking about how awesome he was! Huge thanks to him and the team for making our trip so memorable. If you’re heading to Pueblo Bonito Rose, keep an eye out for Adal—you’ll be in great hands.

Our stay just couldn't have been better! Everyone here is the nicest! I always greet people with good morning or hi and every single worker greeted me back and smiled!! Even the gentlemen who clean the pool real early in the am, smile and greet you! They work so hard here!!||Everything in our room was in working order and really nice. We had hot water, a/c, and all the lights work! No complaints from me!! The resort is showing some of its age, but it just adds to the charm of Mexico!! ||When I did speak to someone at the front desk, Javier was kind and very attentive! I've watched people yell at the front desk and I think they need hazard pay!! ||One thing I did notice as we are on all-inclusive (AI) is that portions are smaller. Over the years, guests have wasted so much food that this only makes sense. If guests want more food, they can order another serving! The prices for eating and not on AI, are really comparable to the high prices where I live. If you like to lounge at the pool and eat and drink here, do AI its the easiest!!

I am so lucky to have my first ever experience in Cabo be at a Pueblo Bonito Resort. The entire staff has amazing hospitality and was super accommodating and welcoming throughout the visit. Daniel and Sylvia from the activities center were so incredibly friendly and truly know how to make you feel like a part of the Pueblo Bonito family and enjoy your time with so many different activities! Luis, a waiter at Mire Nostrum, and Javier, a bartender, both offered excellent and efficient service. Claudia, the hostess, is truly such a gem at the resort. She has been so kind, welcoming, and such a delight to see during my stay. The concierge was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to help with booking excursions and answering general questions. The location of the resort is beautiful; closeby to nightlife, restaurants, and with beautiful views. I haven’t even left yet and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

We recently stayed at this incredible hotel and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to the outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived, Adel went above and beyond to make us feel like part of the family. His warmth and hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Hector, the maestro of beverages, ensured our glasses were never empty, serving the best drinks and tequila we've ever had. His expertise and friendly demeanor made every drink a delightful experience. Guadalupe's attentiveness by the pool was the icing on the cake. Her timely service with refreshing drinks allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our sun-soaked afternoons. Overall, the staff’s dedication to exceptional service truly made our stay special. Highly recommend this hotel for an experience filled with warmth, great drinks, and outstanding hospitality!

Google
I'm hoping this gets better. Arrived early due to flight availability. Was told that we had to pay for food and drinks because we couldn't get anything until noon then was told our rooms would be ready at 3:00 and it's after 3:00 and our rooms are still not ready. Staff who served us at the bar and food have been kind. Nothing is stocked in the fridge and I was told at the front desk it's because they offer inclusive and non-inclusive packages but if they knew what our room numbers were going to be before 9:00 a.m. why wouldn't they just go ahead and have everything stocked that they normally provide? We were told to call room service for those services. Wish we had known that it's mostly a timeshare. That's why everything is strict and limited.

We just spent a week at this resort and had a fantastic time! Traveling with kids, the all-inclusive option is definitely the way to go — it made everything so easy and stress-free. The staff was incredibly polite and professional throughout our stay. A big thank you to Laura, Claudia, Marisol, and Hilario who took great care of us at the buffet, and to Diego and the rest of the team who made our poolside experience even better. We spent most of our time at the Rose pool, which we preferred over the Blanco pool. The Rose pool is larger and the water is much more refreshing — not as warm as the Blanco pool, which made a big difference in the summer heat. Highly recommend this resort, especially for families. Great service, great food, and overall a wonderful experience!

Really Bad Experience. 1. We were a group of almost 30 people, about half of it got stomach sick. 2. I reported bedbugs in my room to the manager. My son got bitten by them and they didn't do anything. The manager just took notes. 3. I got a big insect inside of one drink. I reported it to the Restaurants Manager, he was very nice and he offered me to prepare a nice drink. I had the All Inclusive package anyway. 4. Lines or waiting lists to get to the restaurants are terrible, and you have to wait in the sun, which was very hot. 5. Quality of the food was bad in general, a few exceptions, the same for drinks.

Yelp
I chose this all-terracotta, all-inclusive resort over some of the nicer ones because of its beachfront access to Medano Beach, one of the few swimmable beaches (plus easy access to water activities, like boat tours to see "The Arch", Lover's Beach, etc.etc.). It also boasts an expansive pool, and I heard they had great poolside service (more on that later). Well, first of all, this resort was stunning...so pretty in pink!! I also loved the pool, and again, the easy access to the famous Medano Beach! Based on these reasons, I would have loved to drop at least 4 stars, but here's why I just can't...and despite being such a beautiful resort, now I can understand why the reviews are so low. I'm a bit conflicted, but here are my reasons why I can't rate more than 3 stars... First of all, we loved our suite. Not super-modern, but nicely appointed, with very spacious living quarters...though the bedroom was a bit cramped (thanks to an unusually big bed - looked like 2 queens put together - taking up all the space!). The biggest downer was that there were ZERO WIFI outlets in the bedroom...only in the living room. Very outdated, I'd say. Still, I'm almost willing to excuse the lack of WIFI outlets because of our amazing patio view to both the pool and the beach. It was truly a paradise view! Second issue I had was the poolside service...and the drinks. Yes, we loved the all-inclusive nature of it all. However, the drinks were NOT strong enough...and the service was way too slow. In some cases, we waited up to 20 minutes for our drinks...even when the areas were not even that busy! Another issue was the Mexican vendors on the beach. OMFG...these vendors walked back and forth endlessly, harassing the guests...all trying to enjoy the beautiful view of the Medano Beach. It was RIDICULOUS!!! I can't believe the hotel is not able to put a stop to this somehow. It got so bad that we spent more time by the pool than the beach! Lastly, we did the all-inclusive thing...but I felt it was bit of a rip because for one, we had to pay an extra fee for the best restaurants...some requiring as much as 35 per person. WTF?!? Another reason I chose Rose resort was that we had free accessibility to some of its sister resorts, like Blanco and Sunset Beach. However, the tour bus ride to Sunset Beach turned out to be way too long (I expected 5 minutes...but it was a good 20 minutes ride!). We took the bus to Sunset Beach to try 2 of their restaurants...and again, we were upcharged for one of their better ones (La Frida). NOT a fan of paying for things...when it's supposed to be "ALL-INCLUSIVE". A bit scammish, if you ask me. So there were definitely some shortcomings here. Still, again, I'll say what a stunning resort this was...and it definitely served up some paradise moments! It's a bit iffy if we'd choose to return here on our next trip to Cabo (MUST go back!!!)...and it's a shame because of its perfect, central location (easy, walking access to the swimmable Medano Beach AND to Downtown Cabo as well).

Yelp
I had been dreaming about staying in Pueblo Bonito Rose overlooking the Arch since 2019 when I happened to be in front of this hotel, I finally booked for a 6 d stay 8-6 to 8-12-2024, I had compared rates w Booking .com but always come back to book w hotels .com since I have been a loyal customer for 20 years. Hotels .com no longer let you download pictures that were why I always check with booking and trip advisor 1st. Both Booking and hotels had a 50% off sale for the same week of all inclusive stay everything included dining, Wi-Fi, all drinks, hotels had a lower price plus I had a $49 coupon from past bookings. Since it was my 1st time booking an all-inclusive hotel, I did not realize it should specify 2 persons as food was involved. Booking mentioned PROMINENTLY RATE FOR 2 PERSONS, I did not notice such mention on hotels . com since the price difference was only about $40 I assumed it was for 2. As soon as I received my receipt that was when a mention of 1 PP was clear to see, they wanted $1,000 to add a 2nd person, I was so shocked, I called hotels .com and requested cancellation and rebooking since the sale was still on and I only booked just a short time before. I must have called 5 x costing me a lot of money and time, Hotels claimed they could not do anything about it, I did not buy it, a big company w a parent company EXPEDIA had a lot of muscles to negotiate what was an honest mistake and hotels. had some responsibility, on their website, I was trying to book for my daughter and for whatever reason, I just could not scroll to 2 persons, it was stuck at 1p so I KNOW FOR A FACT IT WAS NOT FEASIBLE w that in mind hotels should be able to help me or at least as a COURTESY give me a small discount for good will, it is good customer service to lose a few hundred rather than lose a customer, I was surprised Hotels did not care, I have 15Kfollowers on all social media platforms so I am an influencer and will make sure this won't happen to anyone else. Every business should aspire to the NORDSTROM POLICY, the customer is ALWAYS RIGHT within reason of course. Booking .com subsequently added free transportation to and from airport that was equivalent to $240!! Hotels did not. It's still not too late to compensate me for the stress if not for the overcharge, at least for this outrageous omission. I have the screen shot that my junior suite had partial ocean view. Pueblo Bonito Rose said that hotels did not book such a room!! That was such an outrageous omission, the clerk did not want to hear it in fact he tried to scare me into accepting the room on the 1st floor with no balcony, when I reiterated I booked a Jr suite w a balcony w a partial view of the ocean, he offered a Jr Suite w a view of the pool on the 2nd floor and I better take it or it will be gone. I took it but I was very upset as you would be in my shoes. The room was beautiful, nice kitchenette but I did not need to cook anything except I wanted to use the coffee maker, the coffee in their buffet was like water, zero taste but I was told they did not have coffee, what kind of hotel provide a coffee maker but no coffee? I had no coffee for 6 d and walked around like a zombie. The 1st day there was a storm and the bartender was very accommodating, they made the drinks from scratch, I had a delicious margarita, it was downhill from there, the drinks were right out of the gallons premade, my husband drank beer so he was happy, I was not happy Mexico outrageously changed their Coke formula, reg coke had artificial sugar so a can only has 10gm sugar vs 39gm in USA but I hate fake drinks so I literally had nothing to drink, I forced myself to drink Fanta but it had horrible coloring. The food was just a little better than hometown buffet and most were bland, the cakes were not edible, all coloring and fake ingredients, I sure did not get fat w all the advertised AYCE buffet. The last 2 days were good though, the pool party and the Sunday brunch, the other 4 days we ate out 3x in town, lunch or dinner. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement, sure the hotel was beautiful, the weather was amazing, the entertainment on 1 night was great but does anybody want to be cheated out of $810? I managed after 4x to finally get the charge down from $1,000 to $810, it's so upsetting as the last day we both had Montezuma revenge, the restaurant was clean so that was not the reason, they had serious problems w flies, they were all so fat I have never seen such fat flies, of course from dining on the food in open air or all over the dining room, I was scared of the noisy buzzing of the flies around me, there must be something they could do, it has been 1 wk and I still have stomach problems, what do other restaurants do that had no flies, we ate at the TRES SIRENAS, THEY HAD NO FLIES!.if I don't get compensated at least for not having a partial view, I will leave hotels .com for their competitor booking. NUNCA MAS!

Yelp
Food was average. Rooms average. There is no entertainment at night. Cold at night with outdoor seating and no heaters. The worst part about all the hotels on the beach in Cabo is that the solicitors are very aggressive and there's about 600 of them I heard on the beach literally every minute they are trying to sell you something, very annoying I will not go back. I prefer to go to Puerto Vallarta or Costa Rica.

Yelp
We stayed here for a week on an RCI timeshare exchange. The unit we were assigned to smelled musty from the beginning and wasn't terribly clean (dirty fans, visible cobwebs, etc.); I'm not terribly fussy and we were told this unit was one of only two available, the other unit being on the ground floor in a location I wasn't comfortable with. Prior to checking out however, I looked under the bed for missing belongings and discovered that the entire underside of the nightstand was covered in black mold - I had no idea the issue was so bad. I'm now concerned about our health considering we slept with our heads right next to this for a week!

Yelp
It's a nice resort. The staff are nice. The rooms are a bit dated. Overall, a wonderful experience

S P.

Yelp
Perfectly located. Friendly staff. Nice rooms with views. Blanco is also very nice. Other linked hotels are also included with your stay, they provide free shuttle. You can choose all inclusive but head outside the hotel and visit some excellent food place to eat!
google avatar

Denise M S.

Yelp
Came over here on the shuttle and what a beautiful property. Never disappoints. Have always been staying at this resort, love the nighttime life. So close to downtown easy walk to, and from that Marina.

Allison M.

Yelp
Literally terrible. I do not normally write reviews.. but this one deserved one! Rooms are so dated and falling apart. No hot water to take a shower! Food subpar. Called to cancel a dinner reservation but because we didn't call 24hours in advance they charged me 150 dollars for a dinner we didn't eat. Manager did not care.. absolutely refused to remove the charge. DO NOT STAY HERE!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
I can see why reviews are not better... I give it 2.5 **/* This place is OK...definitely not worth the money one spends to stay here. Pueblo Bonito Rosé is disappointing, considering what you pay per night. To begin; our room was full of mosquitoes and nats, we killed a total of five the very first time we stepped in the room! As an added bonus, there was a rather big and juicy cockroach that I had to stomp out as well. Damn roach didn't even die...it was still ALIVE in the morning and actually tried to crawl back in...ugh!! There was and is a gap at the bottom of our front door. There are two main restaurants here: 1. Sunsets & Sushi Bar- the outside bar / restaurant. Most of the time it was staffed by only one bartender and his assistants. Poor gut was working his tail off. The wait can get long at peak times. I'd occasionally see two bartenders. I think the management needs to do abetter job at staffing. One needs to wait in line or needs to go through the wait staff just to get something simple like a bottle of water...which can get very annoying. 2. Mare Nostrum - The other main restaurant is a buffet. Not bad, the food is very Americanized and can be bland. It's put together decently. The large pool was nice, well maintained and had plenty of activities listed everyday. Typical public pool , with a strong smell of Chlorine as well. The amenities felt like that of a cheaper Hotel / Motel. No conditioner provided. We also rang room in the evening for a clean towel and soap one evening. They never showed up, so we ended up using a beach towel instead. We tried them the next afternoon, and someone finally showed up. Plenty of room for improvement...

Yelp
How quickly the Pueblo Bonito Rose' turned lemons into lemonade. Originally, we had reserved beach beds on the beach on their property (Labor Day weeked). Because we weren't staying at the hotel, I had to give my name and ID...no problem. A greeter walked us through the hotel towards the pool. We were immediately greeted by the manager who informed us the tide was too high and we wouldn't be able to swim on the beach. However, we would have access to use their large pool, with reserved chairs, towels along with a server for any food or drinks needed. The pool had plenty of activities: exercise class for my elderly mom, games that my adult son was pulled into to compete and a volleyball competition. Music was playing when activities weren't going on which was upbeat but not loud. When we ordered food and drinks our server suggested we order a bottle of tequila since it would be cheaper for the group. Perfect. The food was great and the tequila along with side beverages as a chaser were awesome. As I mentioned, we didn't stay here however the grounds of the facility were well maintained and clean. Well worth the trip. Thanks PB Rose' for a memorable time that the family will cherish.

Yelp
Old rooms quite disgusting!! Staff v nice Grounds beautiful But don't go It used to be fabulous but rooms are so Old dilapidated moldy and gross Food barely edible Beach rope so close to the wall now there is hardly any beach left to sit Have been an owner for 25 years and have not been here for the past 5 years And the decline is staggering
google avatar

Jaime V.

Yelp
Yes, I did have 2 activities at Rose Jet Ski with my sin and I was amazed how well organized they were. World class. I enjoy the pictures that they took of these treasured moments Snorkeling., we had the best captain ever, Danni, pretty knowledgeable and courteous. The million dollar moments and superb photos, instagram and facebook ready

Ruben G.

Yelp
Heck, where do I start, all drinks are all watered down. It's obvious they're putting 50% water in their bottles of alcohol. We tried our drinks two days in a row. After that we refused to have any drinks from this property again. Pool area all the waiters don't give a crap about nobody they are not attentive by any means. You can come reserve your poolside seat at 5 AM if you want to, which is ridiculous so many empty lounge chairs with just towels on them for many many hours . Poolside entertainment I give it a one minus!!! I would never recommend this place to anybody thank goodness this is a free one for us!!!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Came here for the day while staying at its sister resort, Sunset Beach. We took free transportation to and from Rose for free, just be sure to make a reservation the morning of. This resort is much smaller than the location we are staying at, but it has one HUGE pool with lots of seating, umbrellas and service. Everything is a soft pink color (Rosé, duh) and seems like the perfect Bachelorette getaway if that's what you're looking for. We had an amazing time soaking in the sunset while throwing back tequila shots, we poolside ceviche, tacos, guac and pizza. All included! The poolside service here was amazing and attentive.

Cindy M.

Yelp
Wow I travel a lot, all I can say this resort is horrible when trying to add another person, it does not prioritize their guest. For example 300 for 2 guest tru any booking company and 1 guest 289. After I booked it by accident for 1 person . When you want to add an extra person 160 per each day. Talk about robbery because they know you have no other choice but to book the 2nd person, they do absolutely no refunds. I run businesses and I can say this is a strategy businesses do to cheat people out of money. Disgusted by it. The resort is not even that good to be paying for these prices. I always book thru Hilton or Marriott for a reason. They accommodate there guest Lesson learned, I rather pay a lil extra for reassurance. For added an extra guest for 3 days it cost me $480 to book it and $500 for original booking, a total of $1000. Wow

Yelp
Such a wonderful experience at this resort. We did a five day all inclusive and it was worth every penny. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Buffet style/ waterfront dining from early morn to late eve. Ulisses was a wonderful server and we loved Benjamin as the entertainment person. Shopping and spa onsite. I will definitely be back. Best hospitality I've ever received. Every single person working there is nice and they go out of their way to make sure you have a wonderful experience.

Yelp
my review needs to be read to understand the low rating. we came back here w friends who were w us here 17 yrs ago. while the resort itself is dated, staff is n9ce and food is above average. the problem starts here: to get seats by the pool or ocean you must arrive at 6-630 to get chairs. which we did, and when we left for breakfast, when we returned they gave pur seats away and took my personal items away. they said the rule is 30 minutes away from your chairs? really? you go eat, walk the beach or swim and they take away the chairs. there are n0t enough seats for the amount of guests. i come on vacation to relax and have fun, not to fight over seats and argue with management. terrible experience

Yelp
Just left after staying here for 5 days as part of a wedding party. I don't quite understand all the complaints as I saw no roaches, had no blackouts and received prompt room service every time. The hotel gym is probably one of the finest Ive seen. The wedding party did have a few complaints on their service and apparently didn't appreciate the "post" charges that they were being sent. My biggest complaint was that the customer service rep checking me in accidentally kept my passport and sent me off without it. This led to me missing my shuttle, having to pay for an additional one and almost missing my plane. When asked why I wasn't contacted the gentleman said he trying calling my room once although they had my cell phone on record. Deducting 2 stars for that fail and the lack of compassion/accountability. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
I checked in here a day late because i missed my flight! The staff has my room available which WAS GREAT! Good start but IDK about the rest of the stay...RUDE OPERATORS! Great Manager who is well capable of assisting in rude and dishonest personnel...I waited over an hour for housekeeping...who lied and said I had a DO NOT DISTURB ON MY DOOR!! THIS WAS LANGUAGE MISCOMMUNICATION...when you manually lock it, housekeeping can NOT enter like iUSA hotels. WTH I had never put a sign on my door EVER... when they came at 9:30AM, I said come back later but NO ONE DID - went to Starbucks, pool, and beach...came back at 2pm. NOTHING‼‍ I also was locked out of my room on 2nd day, went down for new key twice - still didn't work. Hmmm, ain't this point it's late 10pm PCT (which is 1AM EST MY BODY'S Time!). Needless to say maintenance had to fix door - batter was low. THE MANAGER FIX THIS BY GETTING RESERVATION TO FELLINI'S the best Italian restaurant onsite! THK God for him! Now I had to call him again for housekeeping and his rude operators who hung up on me...? I DEFINITELY would not return here nor recommend this hotel. and if you know my reviews I travel A LOT...I'd give them a 2 star BUT I like the views of the location, room Jr. Suite was okay (little dated). However, next time I'll stay at Cascade (next door). Mine you, I still am waiting for housekeeping...With COVID still being an issue you think this hotel would be on TOP OF CLEANING...‍‍‍? Downtown Cabo was fun though! JUST PAY MORE FOR A BETTER HOTEL PLEASE!

Yelp
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! We went to cabo San lucas last June 2023. We were staying at a resort up in the mountains were staff told us that we could go to the Rose for a front beach time at Medano beach. This on June 15th. I ordered 2 margaritas 1 for me 1 for the wife. I ordered 2 more later, a little time after drink a bit , I started to feel really drunk and started to get aggressive with everyone, my wife started to feel numb all over her face, I came to a conclusion that my waiter spiked our drinks, his name was humberto or Ernesto. I spoke to one of the e manager's when I was at the airport. He said that he will get ro the bottom of this and is now March 2024. I do not recommend this place to anyone, bad service, they just want your money. Don't go to this place they will drug you or worst to get your belongings. I will not return never to this place. Thank you

Janet F.

Yelp
The buffet is real bad if you're going for all inclusive it's not worth it . The place looks cute online but it is real old and tacky mold in the bathroom and found a roach on the bed first night complained about it and they didn't care .
google avatar

Madelyn S.

Yelp
We have stayed at the Rose for a week 3 times now and I'm sure we will be back. We've been in August, September, and now July. I wouldn't necessarily recommend July as it is peak season and packed everywhere. Aug/sept trips were much more relaxing and quiet. The resort makes for an easy, stress-free vacation. The property is beautiful and well-kept with beach front lounge chairs and swimming access just a few steps away. All inclusive is well worth it as you can get food and drinks anywhere you go - room service, poolside, beachside, buffets, and restaurants all on the property. You can also use all inclusive access at the resort next door, the Blanco. The rooms are okay - our last two stays we had a suite and this time the "junior" suite which felt older with harder beds. Next time I will get the larger suite again. Minus one star for this trip because they seemed so overwhelmed with guests that everything was slow. Check-in was painfully slow and our room wasn't ready so we had to haul our luggage around the resort in the hot sun desperate for somewhere to sit down. The restaurants were packed to the max with 30+ min wait times and no alternatives so arrival was a bit sour. Some meals took over 2 hours just for one entree and then waiting to close out. Some room service orders never arrived. Check out was just as long and painful with only 2 people working the desk for a line of families out the door checking in and out. I'm not sure if they were short staffed or if we've never been during peak season but service felt slow all around. Beach vendors can be aggressive but that's out of the resort's control. You can't beat the location though, it's right in town walking distance to the marina, just follow the beach!

Yelp
why would i book a stay when in their info they say southern comfort is available! it isn't! they have one bottle for all of their restaurants. i do my due diligence finding out what is served! very disappointed and they don't seem to care

Arda G.

Yelp
Terribly run business. As an all inclusive customer we were denied dinner service at the buffet because of a large volume of customers for a special event. We could see empty tables but were told to get on a waitlist. When we asked about the tables, we were told that those tables were closed. It was clear they were short of servers. In the meantime I have seen multiple people just ignoring the hosts and walking in. After arguing with the manager for half hour we were given a table, from one of those closed ones. The manager also refused to provide us with a note that were denied buffet service. Outside that, it is terribly annoying that all inclusive customers still have to check out for every service just to see 0 dollars charge. We literally waited 10 min for this 0 dollar check out business after most meals. Inefficiency at its purest.

Yelp
I hate to write this review, but our current experience with the Pueblo Bonito chain of hotels is absolutely ridiculous. We became Pueblo Bonito 'Owners' one year ago this month. Waiting excitedly for our first stay as owners, we reserved our room several months in advance. Our representative promised us an ocean view room with a king size bed. Upon arrival, we were greeted very unwelcomingly by a front desk attendant that was extremely rude and was unwilling to address our concerns with our room. She revealed that the hotel was full and the current guests took precedence. We later found out this was due to the fact that there was a huge influx of18 year old high school students who were on Grad Week. This ended up being the same as a glorified Spring Break. If we were for-warned by the Pueblo Bonito management team, we would of re-arranged our arrival. Our stay has been marred by ridiculous employee interactions, horrible customer service and insane waits when ordering drinks and food. Currently, we ordered a snack and the operator at the room service desk informed us it will be between one and a half to two hours to receive our order. The operator blamed the wait on the amount of people staying at the resort. If the hotel cannot service their cliental accordingly, please do offer services that are not able to be fulfilled. I am hoping that this tend does not continue, but as now, things are getting worse by the day.

Yelp
My husband and I just got back from a beautiful vacation in Cabo. Ismael made the stay so much more enjoyable. He smiled every single day seemed to absolutely love his job . So attentive. He is definitely an asset to pueblo Bonito rose resort. We cannot wait to come back just to see him.

Yelp
it's too bad cartels have all the money to back to hotels to keep from closing. This hotel chain is the absolute worst. If you want the worst food, accommodations, and customer service, then you should stay here. Absolute worst experience here at this hotel and the employees and the managers are bottom of the barrel.

Yelp
We recently visited the resort again, great location, poor sleeping accommodations (bed is horrible) , the food available at the hotel wad a 6 out of 10. Despite the leaf blowers at 5am, the lack of hot water three times during our week stay we made the best of it. All in all, this is a 3 star resort that takes advantage of their location against providing better accommodations This property needs a remodel and overhaul ASAP back in Los Angeles this type a neglect wouldn't last long as people would go elsewhere.

Yelp
We stayed 2 weeks. First week went pretty well. Like others have stated the resort is in need of some TLC. Fixtures are worn and paint is pealing everywhere. The 2nd week is where things went downhill fast. Tuesday at noon the power flickered in the main lobby. We were paying for 3 more days of all inclusive. Big mistake on our part. Took shuttle to sunset resort to meet friends. The weather is unusually hot in Cabo. Friends want to walk around town but Steph and I decide we've had enough of the heat so we go back to Rose. The power is out. We're told it should be back on in an hour or so. We go to our room it's a little cooler than outside. Over the next 12 hours we are slowly cooked in our room. The power came back on at 2:30 am the next day. We got dehydrated and very ill for 2 days. We spent $486 for a few days of AI, which Steph did not use at all. I was able to eat a little but alone 2 breakfasts and I think 1 dinner but had to shuttle to the other resort by myself because the restaurant was closed at ours. I tried bringing something back for Steph but was told no. Our memories kept building as the airport shuttle van broke down 5 kilometers from the airport. Luckily our driver called a taxi. We were in the hot van less than 10 minutes.

Yelp
Spectacular place to stay, excellent service, beautiful rooms, excellent food, excellent dining and the pool is amazing. This is right on the beach! Everyone is very friendly and classy. The staff is so fun and entertaining and engaging. Had the best experience at this resort and would definitely recommend this beautiful place! Able to get tickets to the fun attractions nearby, whale watching and parasailing. Beautiful things to buy in the stores inside and outside near the pool! I had such fun here !

Yelp
I have been to many resorts in my life and this resort is bottom of my list. Pros: Near a Médano beach, some what swimmable. Resorts looks beautiful however the rooms are outdated You have access to other sister resort's Cons: - Explanation on how things works - Food on resort, not many options unless you go to a sister resort even then service is not great as they cater to people staying at that particular resort. - Pool over crowded, no chairs left to sit because it fills up fast - Shuttles always full (Thank good for Uber because their Taxis charge 15 bucks plus while Uber is 5 bucks) - We have the all inclusive package however when we got to our room there were no drinks of any sort, when I stayed at any other resort they would be full and the staff would come every day to give us new drinks. It's inclusive here but you have to ask for everything, and everyone is expecting a tip ok you book my shuttle now give me a dollar of course we tipped the food waitresses and stuff but some things are ridiculous. - The welcoming package is a Time Share pitch which we didn't care about, wasted 15 min of our life.

Yelp
The room that they put us in, the paint was peeling, dirty, and rundown. They did move us over to the Blanco, which was much better room.

Yelp
We just got home a few days ago from staying here 5 nights and 6 days. Here's my honest review of this hotel. The bad: 1)the stupid towel cards!!! You have to carry around these damn cards every day in order to get towels for the pool and/or beach. If you lose them, they charge you $25 per card. One of the days, my husband went out scuba diving and accidentally left the cards in his backpack. They REFUSED to give me and my kids towels for that day! So we couldn't get towels until he came back absolutely ridiculous. I'll add too that the sister hotel, Sunset Beach doesn't have this ridiculous policy. 2) the $500 hold on my credit card that still hasn't been reversed. This is a lot of money for a hotel that isn't boujee or 5 star. 3) CHECK YOUR ITEMIZED RECEIPT AT CHECKOUT!! I had a massage at the spa and they charged me a $100 no show fee!! Right above that, you could see the charge for the massage. If I wouldn't have noticed that, I would have been charged an extra $100 for nothing! 4) more bars are needed! The only bar you can walk up to and order a drink is out by the pool. No lobby bar. Super bizarre to me. 5) our first day there, some drunk grown man, pooped in the pool. Instead of closing off the pool for a few hours, they literally just roped off a small section of it where the accident was. 6) no drinks in the fridge upon arrival. I've stayed at so many all inclusive in Mexico and the fridge is always stocked. Not here. We had to call the room service number and only then you can only get 2 drinks per person and room service took over an hour. 7) the power went out almost every single night. It only Lasted about 30-40 minutes but all other hotels keep candles and matches in the room in case this happens. No candles here. So I got to deal with my 6 and 7 year old freaking out every night in the pitch black The Good: 1) there's a handful of super friendly staff. Angel at the breakfast buffet was amazing. By far the best staff member at the hotel. 2) our room was cleaned very well every day. And the entire property always seemed clean. We spent a lot more time at the sister hotel, the Sunset Beach. They have WAY MORE food options and several different pools. We weren't really a fan of the food at Rose. But Sunset had soooooo many options. It was crazy! My husband loved all the food at Sunset. The only downside of Sunset is that they don't have a swimmable beach. So the days the water was too rough at the Rose, we went to Sunset. If we go back to Cabo, we'll stay at Sunset and just take the shuttle over to Rose to use the beach.

Yelp
Their restaurant beach waiters suggest the most expensive items on the menu, when you ask how much they say they will be right back to check etc, then they bring out food, asked for the bill... oh don't worry we will be right out with it. Basically we got played and spent close to 80 on lobster tacos (5) and 80 on lobster nachos. These items were off menu so no prices listed. Bill for two people with two kids nearly 300 for beach food. Never again.

Yelp
The Pueblo Bonito Rose is located next to the Pueblo Bonito Blanco. They're side by side on the beach. We stayed at the Blanco in mid January but ate Breakfast everyday at the Rose. We also had dinner there our 1st night, and went there many times daily during our trip. They have a huge open pool, at one point on the Tuesday of our trip, we had the whole pool to ourselves which was very nice. I think having use of both hotels when you stay at either one with all inclusive privileges is a really nice feature Pueblo Bonito does. The staff is very friendly, and does a great job.

Yelp
Great property I've enjoyed several times but needs a lot of love! Staff is a awesome with the exception of the time share people, the all Inclusive package is now $185 daily for well? Rooms are tired, drapes broken, tv did t work, $13 daily for crap wifi, need total remdel

Yelp
Food poisoning from hotel our entire group. Management did not care or take responsibility I would come back if they were nicer about it. I have been to Cabo 5 times and have never been sick except this hotel

Yelp
The hotel was really clean & friendly. But it said swimable beach, which was the only reason I booked here. The ocean was still too rough to swim & the sand is rocky & hard.

Yelp
Here's my rating on this place ! Scale of 1 -10 ! 10 being the best . Rooms 5/10 they need updating but I was unbothered just bc we are only in there to sleep! Service was 10/10 . Adrian and Demetrio were absolutely wonderful to us while we were there ! Food was an 8/10 . We have been to a lot of resorts and this had the most flavor I would say . Front desk 4/10 . They weren't the friendliest or as informative as some of the other resort front desk people . Masks were enforced here . Which I understand . Cancun however was a free for all so if you're one who is bothered by wearing a mask probably not the place for you . They will very politely ask you to wear it . Even if it's a 20 ft walk from the entrance of the restaurant to a table . Again! I totally get it but I know many people are bothered by this .

Yelp
Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Resort is a bit dated and needs a bit of sprucing up. The buffet was sub par for sure but the Sunday Brunch seemed a bit improved that the other times we ate there. All the food was very "americanized" and overall not good. Towel cards are a bit strange. The other thing that was strange was that even though its all inclusive you still have to "check out" at every transaction like getting a drink, eating etc and service can be very slow. I never felt rushed but I also felt like I did a lot of waiting around for someone to check me out. Pool was nice, lounge chairs were easy to get. It was wonderful to be able to use the resort next door, their service seemed better overall.

Yelp
Dirty, the worst food, the elevators in poor conditions, there's no main bar and the one at the pool with long lines, the appliances at the rooms like the 60s the rooms are terrible and the walks from the room to the common areas are so long. Avoid it!!

Yelp
A lot of great things about the resort and can move up to a solid 4+ star rating. We had a great time but had to hack through a few things. 1. Rooms. They definitely need an upgrade and you need to luck out. We changed our room on day 2 after scouting the targeted 'nice' rooms. I'm recommend staying on the 1st level next to the pool. Mosquitoes are real. Be ready with soothing gels. You cannot avoid being bitten. This is fundamental. With rooms getting renovated, I'd definitely reconsider a trip back here!! 2. Service: Staff is great, probably the best thing about the resort. Tipping goes a very long way but not once did I feel it was expected. They are reason to come back. 3. Food: All inclusive works as long as you're not wanting a luxury cocktail or Sous- Chef prepared meal. Recommend traveling as often to the sunset beach location and eat there (we preferred lunch since it was way too hot to use the beach during the day). 4. Location: was pretty awesome. Lots to do outside in case you'd want to venture. One of the few resorts with a nice swimmable beach access. We loved the pool and beach post 5pm when the weather cooled off. 5. Excursions: we loved the zip lining and the snorkeling tour organized through the hotel. I'd avoid any time share sellers that you will find around the lobby. If someone if pushing a towel card to you, that just feels weird and I'd recommend avoiding it. Also, try the massage by the beach a few hotels down called the sandbar. Phenomenal!!

Yelp
Beautiful resort on the beach within a medium walk of town. I do not drink so I did not do the all inclusive package. You can book on many of the popular booking sites or if you are a RCI timeshare member you can also book through there. I did not eat any of the food here but the resort is beautiful. My studio room had a small kitchenette with a two burner electric stove and a three-quarter size fridge. My room had a balcony overlooking the courtyard in the pool area. The pool is spacious and very nice and large. It's wonderful that this hotel is right on the ocean. The water was so warm. The ocean here can get a little rough from time to time. The staff was friendly enough. There are some parts of the hotel that shows it's wear and tare. Where. But it kind of adds to the nostalgia of one of the older resorts in Cabo.

Yelp
We stayed here after purchasing through Costco Travel. When we arrived we got upgraded to a spacious Luxury Suite with TWO balconies + TVs and a separate living room/dining area and kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and stove. All-inclusive packages come with free wi-fi, 24-hour room service, and unlimited food and all the margaritas and pina coladas you want. You can even order burgers, nachos, and other snacks by the pool (if you can flag down a staff member) and have it delivered without lifting a finger or interrupting your tanning session. It's downright GLUTTONOUS. While it's not fine dining (though they do have some options for an extra fee), it felt like they had everything under the sun for you to eat. Craving sushi or ceviche? You got it. It really was endless!! There were beautiful spreads at Mare Nostrum during the breakfast buffets, with staff making omelettes, empanadas, and sopes TO ORDER. Pueblo Bonito Rose also has DIRECT beach access and Pueblo Bonito Blanco is right next door. An added perk is that you can visit other Pueblo Bonito resorts, and there's a shuttle that will take you to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach for when you're in the mood to switch up the vibe or take a dip in a different pool (or two, or three). If you're looking for YOLO indulgence in a vacation, Pueblo Bonito delivers!

Yelp
We loved staying here. The pool is fantastic and around the corner is a gentleman that rents out scooters so we had a great time tootling around town. Next time we are going to stay at one of the sister resorts. Can't wait.

Yelp
Came here to chaperone a bunch of high school grads on their last hurrah. Nice setting, nice suites, pool, bars, right on the beach... hot and humid tho. Got the all-inclusive, so all drinks and food was included. Tip was included, but we added extra pretty much everywhere. Cons: no towels in my suite at check in, guess they forgot. First time at the main restaurant, we came after lunch and before dinner, so no one helped us for like 10 min. The guaranteed service charge does have negatives. Otherwise, the bars, restaurants were good. Lots of hawkers at the beach selling trinkets to nacho Libre masks. Every hawker tried to sell us coke, weed, etc. every time we got near the beach. Good idea to have them fenced off. Saw a Mexican marine patrolling once, but overall, felt very safe. Two thumbs up

Yelp
Nice place and location. Very clean Resort. The resort is on the older side be kept up nicely. Was a very relaxing stay with no issues. The only thing that can be a bit confusing are the up charges they try to put on you! We had the platinum package and at some restaurants they would try up charge for drinks that were included. But other than that was a great resort. Room service came in a timely fashion. Pool service for the most part was good. Alberto was the best server took very good care of our group of 6.

Yelp
I can not say worse things about this resort. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR GUEST SAFETY. A young women that was working verbally assaulted a guest in my group. The management at this establishment could not have handled the altercation in a more confrontational and condescending way. He accused this guest of lying and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. They do not care about the safety and security of their guests. On top of this altercation, the rooms are completely run down, drink times take 20+ minutes, and the food is okay at best. We waited 45 minutes for 3 water bottles. The rest of our interactions with the staff was nothing short of mediocre at best. They are extremely dismissive and service takes forever for basic needs. We had a member in our group face a scary interaction with members outside the resort. When she seeks guidance from the young woman at the front desk she was verbally assaulted. This resort is beyond horrible. On top of that altercation, when she spoke to management she was laughed at. Once again THIS RESORT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR GUESTS. The manager of this establishment laughed in my face as I was discussing with him the incident report.

Debby K.

Yelp
Terrible. We had 18 in our group and everyone had stomach issues, some very severe. They have a bacteria problem....Don't go here
