We stayed only 1 night, but we were thoroughly impressed with this well-run, traditional and comfortable hotel. The public rooms are elegant; the level of housekeeping is exceptionally high; the bathrooms and bedrooms contain every possible amenity. The breakfast buffet was abundant and varied. (Alas, the room itself is rather austere, with not a lot of charm.. But that's a small point.)|The staff member at Reception offered us a free upgrade to a junior suite, which added greatly to the pleasure of our stay. Finally, our dinner at Acebuche was a culinary highlight of our trip, for which I've written a separate review.

Reception reception could be a bit warmer, if you ask for a quieter room they give you an answer of you booked a standard room, not appropriate can easily be said in another way. We did not feel like paying for breakfast. Rooms need an upgrade. We paid 85 euros without breakfast and I saw 55 euros to book the same day. So our reservation did not seem that standard. I do not recommend it.

Beautiful building. Looks initially to be luxurious but that comes from the beauty of the small hotel complex. Get breakfast included. It was an excellent spread

Despite being rated #1 manage your expectations. Location is very central and walking distance to restaurants and sites is good. If you arrive by car, streets are narrow and you may or may not be able to get all the way in to offload or load luggage easily. Unless you ask in advance, your driver may not know there is a back way to get to hotel and unload luggage. Do not expect porter service either. Service is below average at check-in and helpfulness. In the 6 months I’ve visited 7 cities in Spain, this was the first hotel I encountered nonchalant, unhelpful reception. No welcome, no help with luggage, we had to wait until they turned their attention to us to get proper check in process. ||While the hotel and grounds are charming, from the moment we stepped in to check in, the charm was lost from the front line reception team who, beyond checking our reservation and details, didn’t put any effort to offer any further basic information. |The only two staff members that smiled to greet guests seemed to be the maintenance man and the lady who was in charge of breakfast and was happy to assist. ||Rooms are clean, and simple. |However, our safe did not work, and some other items seemed to need repair or refresh. Breakfast buffet very average. So for what it is advertised as, a top hotel in Baeza versus reality, it’s better to manage and lower your expectations. Many budget or modest hotels have better service. We stayed one night and that was more than enough.

The hotel is located in the old town of Baeza and close to centre. There is a free parking space closeby which I recommend. The hotell is in a beautifull historical old building. The checking in took a long time, it was very busy at that moment, but the reception staff was very friendly. Our room was on the attic, not the nicest room we ever stayed inn, but it was clean and very comfy beds. No coffee/tea facilities in the room and not possible to get a cup at the reception either. We were send to the adjacent restaurant to buy there. The pool was closed unfortunately but is was a bit off season. The breakfast was not overwhelming, no fresh orange juice, no omelet og fried egg and only one sort of cheese. Not a 4 stars breakfast in my opinion. We had a fabulous evening at the hotels restaurant Acebuche, really recomendable!

Fabulous location and wonderful building. Big advantage was Pacos bar eatery - great friendly service and lovely food. Friends had to wait until 4:30 to access their room and when they did the tiled floor was soaking wet and dangerous. Having said that we were upgraded and we would definitely return. Great value for money.

Cosy authentic boutique hotel hacienda style. Has small pool area with nice terras. Breakfast offering all you need. Offers limited parking space behind hotel, but enough free parking space at edge of city within 3min walking distance. Big room with big beds.

The Puerto de Sevilla is situated in the heart of Baeza. It is difficult to find the more so as you cannot directly go to the hotel by car. A free public parking lot is about 300 m from the hotel. Due to several steps at the hotel entrance transporting your luggage is rather burdensome.|We were given a room on the first floor which offered a pleasant view of the cathedral tower and the hotel’s courtyard with its swimming-pool.|The room was equipped with a small TV and a minibar but there was no kettle. The WiFi worked but was pretty slow.|Breakfast was of average quality with a tiny choice of hot food.|The hotel can be recommended due to its central location.
