Experience the awe-inspiring new 7 wonders of nature - SilverKris

"This protected underground river and cave system on Palawan in the Philippines is best experienced by boat, winding through dramatic caverns lined with stalactites and home to large bat species and hundreds of bird, mammal and reptile species; the river and its surrounding karst landscape are safeguarded within a government-protected park and offer remarkable geological formations alongside strong wildlife-viewing opportunities." - SilverKris

Journey into Planet Earth's Heart: Exploring Palawan's Subterranean River By Ceasar Murro Morandarte #author Forget everything you know about rivers. Imagine, instead, a waterway that vanishes into a mountain, carving a secret, cathedral-like world within the earth. This is the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, a place where nature’s grandest spectacle unfolds not under the open sky, but in the echoing, majestic darkness of one of the world’s longest navigable underground rivers. Your adventure begins not in the cave, but on the water. After a journey through Palawan's stunning landscapes, you arrive in Sabang and board a small outrigger boat. The turquoise lagoon, framed by jagged limestone cliffs and emerald jungle, is just a taste of what’s to come. As you approach the yawning mouth of the cave, a sense of awe descends. The air cools, and the sounds of the forest are replaced by a profound, echoing silence, broken only by the dip of your paddle. A Magical Powers: Cathedral of Stone and Shadow

The tour was great! We could have used a little bit of lighting inside the cave to better see the sights but I guess it was not allowed and maybe not to bother the bats living inside. It would be perfect to try the whole course of the river if u have time
