Puggos Restaurant is a true hidden middle eastern oasis in Montezuma. We enjoyed a fantastic brunch with great drinks, followed by an absolutely incredible caramel puff pastry dessert that alone is worth the visit. Puggos offers a beautiful, relaxed setting and a Middle Eastern–inspired menu that is not to be missed. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and clearly made with care and passion. They also serve dinner, making it a wonderful spot to return to again and again during your stay in Montezuma. If you’re interested in taking your experience even further, ask about the jungle cooking retreats led by Chef Maya. LIVE LOVE LOVE!! If you want to have amazing home cooked food surrounded by beautiful plants and a true jungle vibe, this is your place. The owners are so lovely and really give a family feeling to the whole place. The portions are good sizes and reasonably priced for the area. I have nothing but great things to say about the quality and creativity of their menu.

Puggos has the best food on the peninsula! My personal favorite was the chicken curry dish. Rodrigo was kind enough to show us his farm, and the atmosphere at the restaurant is great

The food, the service, the atmosphere were all 5✨️. Sunday brunch, so much to choose from, so many new foods to try! So much love goes into all of it. The plants are beautiful, the pastries were melt in your mouth, the coffee was perfect. Will be a regular Sunday spot from now on!

Wow... The best food I had in a long time. You taste the love it's cooked with. The decor is unbelievable and the owner Chef Maya and her husband will treat you like family. Food was so good that we went twice in the 5 nights we spent in Puntarenas and Montezuma Costa Rica.

We celebrated my granddaughter’s 6th grade promotion. The restaurant was beautiful and had a nice ambiance. The owners and our servers were very nice. The food and drinks were delicious.

Puggos is an awesome place, off the beaten path, feels like you’re in the jungle, great food and cocktails! Watermelon jalapeño margarita was delicious, and the music playlist was great! Lovely doggy at the front as a greeter😊

We had the Marrocan Style Menu. :) Everything was delicious, cooking from the heart. The portions were quite generous, we had enough left overs for another meal! Staff was very polite and knowledgeable of the food. Beautiful place, a must if you are in the area. Gracias!
