I Rode One of the World’s Most Epic Cycling Routes in Mallorca Without Any Special Training—but Had a Little Help From an E-Bike
"One more big climb remained: Puig Major, which Strava users rate as “HC” (the hardest classification); the ascent was a slog that hammered my shoulders after hours in the saddle, and the true test came after the summit when I had to clamp the brakes for the entire descent, stopping multiple times and learning how punishing the downhill can be without experience." - Denny Lee

It was really hard, dangerous while climbing to the top, but it really tests your endurance, strength and skills. The view was incredible

We were on the NE paek of the moutain where you can go as a tourist. It was really dificult trail with some "climbing" parts. There wasn't really any path or hard to find, you need maps! The view is worth it.

You can't drive up there...it's a military zone. Not sure how others have got there - maybe hiking. Anyway, enjoyed the drive through the mountains so don't let this put you off completely, but don't go here just to get to the peak in a car because you can't.

Don’t go unless you like twisty roads and scenic views. Once you arrive at the road that should take you up the mountain it’s fenced off staying that it’s a military zone because there’s a radar on top of the mountain.
