The Best Beaches in the Philippines for Surfing, Seclusion, and Powder-Soft Sands | Condé Nast Traveler

"A serene, relatively secluded, low-key counterpoint to White Beach, this shore is strewn with the small white “puka” shells locals craft into jewelry. Beachcombing is encouraged—so long as you return shells to protect the ecosystem—and the vibe swings romantic and family-friendly thanks to calm, clear, shallow water that’s easy for kids. Nearby, Shangri-La Boracay adds polished suites, villas, and a private jetty for easy excursions." - Jasmine Ting

There are lots of souvenir items to choose from, which are all affordable. The sand may not be the finest but it is still beautiful as it is. Lots of locals who pretty much tells about the story behind the name of the beach, they are all accommodating. Both experience and the place is top rated. It's a must visit.

The front part of the beach is very crowded; one's first impression is that it's like White Beach, full of people. However, it is worth walking further back because you will find a beautiful, quiet shore. By the afternoon, the sea becomes wavy, which some people may enjoy.

This beach is quieter than White beach. The water was cristal clear and I believe this is the best beach in Boracay Island. I could see some fish close to the beach. There are limited places to eat and to drink.

A peaceful and scenic beach tucked away from the crowd and noise. The sand here is mixed with crushed puka shells and white sand, giving it a unique texture and charm. The water is clear and beautiful, perfect for relaxing or taking photos. There are a few stalls selling shakes and snacks, though prices are a bit high. Still, the calm atmosphere and stunning view make it worth the trip. A nice escape from Boracay’s busy main beach. Tip: Very close to Alta Vista de Boracay.

Puka Beach is exceptionally beautiful 🌟 Whole pristine coral fields... Talk to the government! Let them make it a sanctuary before capitalists ruin it!

I love this peaceful place. I wanted to pick up shells here. And I completed my mission as I attached photos! There are various types of shells. Of course you can get a PUKA shells also.

Least populated beach on boracay. Got here using hop on hop off bus. I arrived around 2 pm. Only a handful of people on the beach. The boat tours visit the beach in the morning. When you arrive, walk to the left and follow the shoreline. You will then come to a beautiful area of sand. The weather was overcast the day I visited, and the sea was a little rough. If you buy a drink from the lady, she will give you a beach mat to use. I did buy mango juice from her whilst waiting for the sunset to hopefully appear. She told me that the waters were normally very calm and lovely to swim in. We were not hopeful of a sunset due to the cloudy day, but after a little wait, we were blown away by the colourful skies. If you want some peace and tranquillity away from the busy areas of White Beach, then this is the place to come.

Puka Beach is not as crowded as the other parts of the Island. Doing the Kayak here is worth it too
