Contacted Pull-A-Part a few times to sell my vehicle. When I first contacted them, the Operator offered me a deal of about $500 for a my 2010 Ford Explorer. At the time, I was just interested in a quote and I told them that I would contact them again to finalize a deal if I couldn't find anyone to beat this quote. I ended up going out of town and forgot about my side project. Cut back a month later, I contact Pull-A-Part last week to sell my vehicle to them. The Operator then low-balled me with a different number than what they first offered and offered me $380. I was upset with this new number since I was expecting them to match their initial offer. I begrudgingly brought up this point and the Operator came back with a new offer of $410 for pickup on Saturday 7/12/2024. Since I was tired of dealing with this entire project, I agreed and we set an appointment to pick up my vehicle at 9am. I received a confirmation email and made preparations to have the vehicle picked up on Saturday at our agreed time. Come Saturday, I received ZERO correspondence from the hauler and at 0945am I contacted Pull-A-Part to ask if they were enroute. The Operator stated that they did not know when the hauler would arrive and that I would be contacted. Since I received no correspondence an HOUR after they were supposed to, I asked to reschedule for Monday. The Operator advised that the hauler would reschedule to Monday and did not provide a new time. The Operator stated that they "could not provide a time for Monday." I found this statement to be incredibly unprofessional since they were happy to provide a time when they first tried to low-ball me. I agreed to an ambiguous Monday reschedule. Today is Monday and you can guess that no one has contacted me and no one has come to get the vehicle. --- UPDATE: After many back and forth calls and a couple of more reschedules, the car has been sold to Pull-A-Part. Their customer service manager, Nicole, was very accommodating and helped me understand the back-end processes and why communication broke down. They also adjusted their offer for the extraordinary inconvenience that I experienced. Changed from 1-star to 4-stars for good customer service after the fact.

Google
Dodge company charged for the door glass $360 plus tax here at Pull $30 and I’m good to go. Let me know if you need any help. I’m willing to help you the best I can and have a great day. Be safe.

MJ was a gem. If you pulling small parts off a junked car and have complaints you are the only one to blame. Hot, dirty, lots of late model junkers just like God intended.

Joseph Bray

Google
The staff were friendly and checking and and getting my parts were a breeze. My only complaint (hence the 4-star) is that they charge "core" fees for many parts that don't usually have a core (i.e. upper control arms). It's an easy way of adding an additional $5 to the cost of each part. For people like me that either didn't bring the part or haven't taken it off my vehicle yet, you won't have your "core" to turn in. Because I won't be driving 2 hours RT to get my $10 core fee back, they get to keep the $10.

It was great meeting Ron at the entrance counter. Being that I haven't been at the establishment in years Ron was very informative and welcoming. His knowledge made the membership system process simple and cut my time in half. We didn't find the part that we were searching for but grateful for the expertise customer service. Employees like Ron are rare in today's society but it was good to see that in him.

Google
MJ, Bee and Ron were very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable to lead me to the right lot to look for the items I needed. Although I didn’t find all the parts that I needed but my first time experience here were very pleasant. Manager Joe were able to provide me with tools since I came empty handed. I will highly recommend this pull-a-part for first timers because they don’t make you feel like an outsider. Thank you!

Google
Good organized yard with good selection. I would buy from there again no problem. However I wouldn’t bring any cores or returns there, not the best customer service. I was treated way better by the staff at the Atlanta East location, much rather do business there, no hassle and friendly.

Google
Went here today to try finding a wire harness and only found pieces of the harness and most of the connectors for the computer gone abs and tcm connectors cut off got the few pieces of the and they tried to charge me for 3 wire harness I can get a new harness for cheaper than they wanted for pieces rip off won't say what I am but they are going to get a visit from me again as a professional and they won't like it when I write them violations. As I thought tried calling the owner 2 times and dose not answer the phone they just say call them to make like they want to find out what happened . Just to make other readers of the reviews thank they are doing something about what's going on at this place.

Yelp
Whew yesterday was so hot to be out here but i respect the people who do work here because it was extremely to hot to be in that building . Seem like a reliable place and not to bad on prices i went here to look for a spare tires which was going to only cost me $15 but i couldn't find it. Keep in mind no kids allowed here i had my kid so the look around was cut short plus it was to hot while we waited for her dad to try to find the spare . Can't believe i forgot to take some photos but again the heat

Yelp
Large, helpful and organized. I like to pull my own parts. This is a great way to spend a Saturday .

Yelp
Imagine being very, very pregnant with a young child in tow and having someone about to let you into the bathroom before some angry YT LADY stops them and says no, that's only for us. Guess you assumed we can't speak English? What is this, 1948, do I need to go find the colored restroom? You told someone else with us it was broken. Not sure how you operate being so racist when half the employees don't even speak English.

Yelp
I have been dying to get over to Pull A Part ever since I acquired my car! So I got up this morning and venture to the Atlanta South location! Once I got there, I met serveral very friendly and helpful staff members whom took time to explain to me the pricing, the VIP membership and even told about their part pulling service! I recieved a printout that showed me the area of the models that I was in search of! To my surprise at 9am on a Sunday morning there were alot of people there! With printout in hand I was off! After searching a few cars, I found actually what I was looking for! I was going to take advantage of the part pulling service, but I managed to pull them myself! I had a grand time! I have so much fun that I can't wait to go back! Thank you to all the wonderful and friendly staff that made my 1st visit to Pull A Part a very lucrative and successful! I will be back! #pullaparts

Yelp
Dirty and over priced parts. They charge a core charge on almost every part. That is not right. A core charge on a fender??? Lazy employees will not answer a simple question. Buy new!!!

Dwalu T.

Yelp
I relay visit pull-A-part, hope my next visit and guest feel good about customers service and the pull car to pull from would be at appropriate place and parts are there to pull.

Yelp
I used to love this place, I still do in a way, but the prices are now inline with new or reman parts. Unless you need a rare OEM hard-to-find part, I'd suggest a skip As far as the crowd-- yeah it's hood. I think I'll bump this up to 4 now because I find it endearing and unpretentious. Passive aggressive attitudes make me feel right at home!

Yelp
Horrible experience they told me they had the part. Drove an hour and a half to get to the junkyard. The part was not on the vehicle. Bought a motor paid cash. The motor was no good. They would not give me back my cash refund I had to take a store credit. What could this corporation not give back cash. They had no problem taking my cash but they have problems giving it back. Employees don't know what's really on the lot. And most of them don't know anything about cars. Very unhappy with this company. They wanted me to swap the motor. So I drove to the other two locations around Atlanta. Each one said they had the engine there was only pieces of engines. Was not about to drive 3 hours to Augusta to see if they had the parts. Customer service was horrible they won't call one junkyard to the other to see if there's the part there. But rather me spend 6 hours of driving time to go see if it's there. When I was leaving the store at Norcross the employee told me I might as well get a tow truck to haul my ass out of there. Nice thing to say to your customer

Terrell M.

Yelp
I ordered a door for a car and I got exactly what I asked for a perfect door the color I wanted was the cheapest price I could find around, he's not the biggest place around But was able to get what I needed quickly and for a good price.

Diane H.

Yelp
The jury is still out on this one. There is no way to get in touch with them before driving almost an hour. When I arrived there, their computer system was down and they had no way to check to interchange the car parts. They told me to come back during the week.

Jackeline M.

Yelp
This place is the worst with their employees came in today and the guy at the front desk with a beanie had the look of I hate my job don't ask me anything type of look like he was just out of it like he didn't care to respond generously as if me asking was such a bother to things I didn't know paid my fee and left

Yelp
This Norcross location is located in Southern Gwinnett. Parking lot is limited and can get scare on the weekend. Current vehicle inventory can be accessed on the phone , online or onsite . Cost is two dollars to get in the junkyard . Vip members is one dollar. Cost of of the VIP card is free and can be received at the checkout counter. Upon entering the junkyard you will be required to sign a waiver and receive a stamp. Only Hand tools are allowed in the lot. They do have golf carts available for rent. The lot... The lot is divided by domestic three sections Ford, GM, Dodge/Chrysler, old vehicles and Import. Inventory is updated daily. This location can give you a call if a specific make or model is available. Last they will buy vehicles quotes can be made by phone or online. Parts Prices.. I was a former mechanic Pull a part was the place to go for used auto parts. Prices are lower than other junkyards in atlanta. All purchases include a 30 day return store credit only.Cash, Debit and Credit cards are accepted. All parts prices can be found online. Some parts like car batteries, starters, engines, transmissions and rear ends will require a core charge. The verdict.. Over all it a great place to get used auto parts at really cheap price. However you are required to remove the part of the vehicle. So if you are not good with your hands or not good at identifying car parts hire a mechanic or just order your used auto parts online.

Yelp
After 4 try's of two other pull a part and other part savage places I found my part out in Duluth pull a part friendly helpful even a strange can do it with out knowing and most times you can ask others shoppers to help take off a part most will help you for a small fee !

Yelp
Whether you are looking for parts, for your car, or looking to sell a junker, Pull-A-Part is a good place to go. We found a cheap replacement part, for my previous car (that I had owned at the time). Our most recent experience, was selling my husbands old car, that wouldn't pass emissions, and would be too expensive to repair. The car wasn't worth a lot of money, so it wasn't worth trying to trade in on another vehicle. If you are looking to sell your car to Pull-A-Part, you will make your most money, if you can bring the car in yourself, otherwise you can have them come and pick it up for you, but you will only get $50.00 having them pick up the car from you. If you bring your car in, they pay you based on how much your car weighs.

Yelp
This place is a joke. Overpriced car parts and the same selection old model cars. The yard is always dirty and no one to help you.

M R.

Yelp
First of all, this is a junkyard - not a charity nor a museum. Employees are always courteous and polite. I remember going to U-Pulls 20+ years ago and it was a free-for-all: the yards were not computerized and the U-Pulls were giving stuff away. Those day are l-o-n-g gone. The price of U-Pull parts have gotten high until you consider new OEM parts or reman's. The cars in this lot are often very picked over -- but that's the point. When you get a text about the car you are waiting for - get moving.

Yelp
Worst pull a part ever, I had to bring my brake pedal to make sure the brake booster rod would fit which was in my bag. No one searched my bag or said anything when entering until I pulled my part and came to check out and after rummaging through my tool bag the cashier asked what was this. After nailing me for a entrance fee, charging for everything attached to the brake booster, even the cut brake hoses went so far as accusing me of taking my own brake pedal. They asked did you check it in - no I said and so they bring out some dude who didn't even have the courtesy to introduce himself - I'm assuming it was the manager who knows - I explained to him that I had a 1991 and wanted to make sure the 1995 push rod fit on my pedal and he told me I should have checked it in. So for anyone who wants to get charged $79 for a 25 year old brake booster that may or may not work be sure if you bring in a test part to "check it in" or be treated like a piece of scum thief like I was.

Didier L.

Yelp
The fact they they have a core charge on fenders doesn't feel right and it shouldn't be core charge on any parts because they don't sell rebuilt parts everything is from used or junk cars plus they are not a certified auto parts store it's a junk yard
google avatar

Yelp
First off - I never knew places like this existed. I needed a new sun visor for my car and it costs about $80 bucks online, but will cost $7 bucks at Pull-A-Part. The only catch is that you have to pull the part off the car....then it's yours. The place is pretty modern with touch screens to sort through cars and parts. Plenty of parking and I believe it's a standard two bucks to enter the junkyard. Enjoy!

Robert C.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst customer service. Tried junking my car through Peddle and they said this company would be getting the car. Went through the process not once but twice with them. Their window of service was 8am to 8pm and could not give you an estimated time, so basically you had to wait for them all day. Could not work it out with them the first time, Monica was the rudest person to deal with. Contact Peddle who cancelled my contract, went through them again and they reffered this company again. Incompetence all around.

Yelp
Love this place! One my cars is an early 2000's model and have made out like a king finding parts for it here (lots of money saved over other salvage places and retail stores).

Yelp
I had replaced my radiator in my car myself. While trying to remove the trans cooling lines from the old radiator, I stripped the nut on the upper line. My car is old and nobody manufactures or carries these lines anymore. I looked online at Pull A Part and they had two cars that matched my needs. I paid a small entry fee and took my toolbox with me. The first car had the cooling lines rusted on. Thankfully the second didn't. I was able to pull both upper and lower lines (just in case). I walked out that day spending less than $20 and sure enough, I had a lower cooling line leaking about a week later, and used the line I pulled "just in case"! Staff was super friendly, helpful, and very professional! I love it when I don't get treated as though as I am some uncapable and clueless woman!
google avatar

Denise D.

Yelp
You have to pay to get in, kids are not allowed to go in the scrap yard, they can wait in the office until you get the parts you need. They may have a certain vehicle but the part you need is not guaranteed to be in.

Scott D.

Yelp
pul a part near Norcross is the worst place to go customer service and prices the prices are they selling the same like Autozone or another place and this what happens to me I bought cv axle for ford focus by 57 dollars it just took me more than 2 hours to pull I ask a cushier why so expensive she has told me the price take it or leave it I was so mad paid to leave the way to go home I started to call napa auto zone I was shocked new in napa is 59 dollars same time I decided to returned back not to back again they abused the Hispanic community because people paid with no question please I warm you don't go that place or if you go compare the prices before you pull thanks

Yelp
Been going here a long, long time, maybe 12 - 13 years. Bring your own tools, walk and pull the part u need for your automobile and you will save big. Warranties available . $2 entry fee to cover insurance . Terminals with touch screen will locate your year and model car on the yard. There is also counter help to verify the year makes and models with interchangeable parts for your car.

Katherine W.

Yelp
Every time i go here I find the part I need to get the job done and they always have the cars in stock that they say they do on the website, and they are always in the row they say they are. This is my first stop when I need a part.
