I booked via a third party site a very good deal of $200 a night for a couple, inclusive of breakfast, parking and late check-out. Given the cost of parking ($35 a day) and the breakfast, this meant a relatively cheap price for the room itself.|On arrival I was disappointed that, for a 5 star hotel, there was no assistance with luggage from the car to Reception, or from Reception to the room. I was given incorrect information about the off-site parking (needing a new ticket each day, not multiple day use of one ticket as I was advised), but I read the information provided so that didn't become an embarrassing problem on exiting the carpark on the last day.|The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Our 'City View' was of the nearby multi-storey carpark (I was on Level 6), but presumably the upper floors have better views. The usual Accor 'pillow menu' ensured a good night sleep. The mini-bar had the usual excessively-priced contents, but there is a supermarket 100m to the west, and a 'pub' hotel 50m to the south. Tip - the use of the Keurig/ Nespresso pods in the room costs extra. The powdered coffee doesn't.|The breakfast was (for Westerners) outstanding, with a huge choice, which staff managed to keep warm (for the appropriate dishes) without the food becoming dry or stale. One problem was the egg station isn't manned and it takes forever (about 20 minutes) to get your fried eggs or omlette. On the second morning my self-written order was still sitting on the counter when I left (still eggless) when I had completed dining 30 minutes after putting the order on the counter. However, the poached eggs in the chaffing dish were eggcellent, as was the scrambled eggs on the first morning (not available on the second morning).|The breakfast food was well-labelled, allowing those with religious considerations appropriate choices (although on reflection, I don’t recall seeing margarine, just butter). For diabetics, non-sugar sweetener is provided.|Asian guests would find the breakfast food offerings very unsatisfactory - not even any rice porridge, let alone any fried noodles.|The room bathroom was spacious and clean, and additional towels were provided promptly when requested. Asian and European guests may be disappointed by the lack of a bidet facility for the toilet.|Guest Services was very prompt and efficient - when we requested the room be serviced while we were at breakfast, the cleaner and trolley were arriving at our door as we walked out 1 minute later.|Overall, a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

I stayed at Pullman Adelaide on the night of 26 June and checked in quite late (around 5:30pm). I was trying to have a quick rest before heading out for dinner. Upon getting in the bed I realised that the bed sheets didn't look very clean and seemed quite old. I then saw two pieces of hair on the bed and they looked disgusting. I couldn't believe my eyes and immediately called housekeeping. They showed up quite quickly and changed the bed sheets but the disgusting vision was always on the back of my mind. When checking out the next morning (27 June), they told me that all invoices would be sent to my email address and I was OK with that (let's save a few trees). Well, the invoices weren't sent to my email address and I contacted them by email on Monday 30 June to request the invoice. No reply, no acknowledgement of my request. The next day, Tuesday, 1 July, I asked the travel agent FCM (who made the booking on my behalf) to request these invoices from them. Again, it has been absolute silence until now (Wednesday 2 July). I have had enough so I think I would share this review with the prospective clients who would consider staying at the Pullman Adelaide. Note: I stayed in their standard Deluxe room (city view) that was charged $211 (breakfast for one included & non-refundable).

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel. We had breakfast on both days. Lounge was a quiet place for us to meet a friend. Reception staff were very courteous. Special thanks to helpful Christophe who was gave us a cheerful greeting each time we saw him. We enjoyed our stay and have booked for another 5 nights when we return in August.

We stayed recently over the long Easter weekend. I booked two rooms and requested that we have the rooms side by side, with door access in the middle. I needed to request this before we arrived which I thought I did, however there was some sort of miscommunication. When it got to our first night my wife was feeling very claustrophobic and felt comfortable if we could get a room with door access in the middle. I went to reception around 11pm and Karl was outstanding! He was able to allocate a room on another floor and showed me the room making sure myself, wife and kids were comfortable. He went over and above, and was very empathetic but professional at the same time. Thanks so much to Karl, you are brilliant at your job! I also wanted to mention Stella who worked during breakfast time. With so much going on and the demands of other guests, she remained super friendly and calm. She was always welcoming to our family every morning and also she stepped in when one guest told my daughter off for standing in the way at breakfast time. Stella deserves some recognition for the outstanding way she represents the Pullman, my family haven't experienced excellent customer service like that in a long time. My only feedback would be to move the pancake station somewhere else during breakfast time as it can get a bit crowded. Otherwise it's a well run hotel, in a great central location.

Great friendly staff that are always helpful. The cleaners always say hello. Rooms are large and clean with comfy beds and plenty of options on TV if you like that. The only downside is if you are in an even numbered room on the lower floors you get a great view of the car park. Lighting is a bit interesting. Definitely worth going back.

Pullman's cleaning and information services are very considerate, everything is so smooth, fast and simple. The staff are very warm and friendly, the hotel is very safe, and restaurants, bars and parks are very close. Especially the mattress and pillows in the room, which made me fall asleep in a second. It was a very comfortable experience!

Had a great stay, location is good lots of options around, and also walking distance from a few tourist spots, gave me a chance to view some places before leaving. Breakfast was also quite good.

The staff are nice and friendly. They offered free drinks for us, which is amazing. It is super close to the rundle mall, but a bit inconvenient for us to explore Chinatown. We ended up not having breakfast there only because it is quite expensive for a family. The window is facing the parking space and it could be loud sometimes in the middle of night, so it wasnt ideal.
