Pullman Basel Europe

The total experience of the hotel was mediocre, pretty well fitting in the room rate that was lower than competitors in the same neighborhood. My single room was tiny, barely enough room to stretch up properly. The wall to wall carpet was dusty and the room was too warm. The bathroom sink was tiny and any effort of using it just splashed water all around. People at the front desk were polite but their cooperation didn't work. One promised something and another didn't have a clue. BUT, the breakfast buffet was superb. A work of art. Wide selection of breakfast ingredients carefully organized for display. Fresh flowers in the tables. Even sparkling wine included. I can definitely recommend stepping in and buying it even if you wouldn't stay in the hotel. 10+!

Very clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel gave us a free Basel Card which was great for moving about the city at no cost. Plenty of eating joints within 5-6 minutes walking distance. We had an excellent stay.

Edit: the response from the hotel is a falsehood. It was not a misunderstanding; the hotel wanted to force me to leave my table because the food that I wanted to order was not expensive enough. They were extremely rude, and I hope that they will try to improve the rudeness of their staff and inability to comprehend this rudeness. They did not “invite me to the terrace” – – they told me to go sit in the hotel lobby. Slightly different than their characterization. So now not only are they rude, they are also gaslighting me. Disgusting. Terrible experience. They let me sit in the restaurant and then immediately kicked me out because they said that the restaurant was full, even though there were four people there.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The lobby smells gorgeous and the staff are all so professional and friendly. ||Amazing room so spacious. Love the bathroom. Shower is amazing!! ||Fresh water in the room every day! If I was to come to Basel again I would 100% stay here

Another great sales meeting at the Pullman Hotel. Sabrina, Soleil, Damian and Doreen in the Conference Centre always manage everything perfectly. Alexander at Reception - a great welcome and very helpful - Paulina also very helpful, Sylvia, Francisco and Valentin at Breakfast make a pleasant start to the day, Maria at Dinner - charming and along with Jula, the chef, give great service and a really good dinner. Overall, the Pullman is a delight to stay at and do a superb job with conferences. The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable. Margarita, the housemaid, did a thoroughly good job of cleaning the room - spotless! Finally, Jens, Jerome and Soleil gave us a great team dinner. Jens, as ever, knows exactly which wine to recommend and mixes some great cocktails.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel - nice location - easy to reach from the nearby Messeplatz to the train station by a short tram ride.Well kept clean room - comfortable bed - decent breakfast with plenty of options.Helpful front desk - would definitely stay here if visiting Basel again

Had stayed there for 5 nights, tried their breakfast and dinner. All service received were excellent. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Making the stay pleasant and enjoyable.

The Best Hotel and Staff in Switzerland !. I am so glad I chose The Basel Pullman Hotel for the second time, it did not disappoint. it is my favorite hotel in the world. The rooms are extremely clean, hip and luxurious al at the same time. My room faced a beautiful garden that was peaceful and quiet. The Staff is excellent, first class all the way. !!
