First time in Basel. Everyone at the hotel was welcoming, helpful. The physical hotel is also very nice. Being very jet lagged it was nice to have a comfortable bed to sleep. Curtains were good at keeping out the light. Food was good breakfast and dinner and the outdoor table along the street were great for eating at and getting to see the people going about town. The gym and back outdoor area is also great.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Pullman Basel Europe during Art Basel week, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for our stay. Every interaction we had with the team, whether at the front desk or in the restaurant, was met with kindness and professionalism. The restaurant staff, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their friendly demeanor truly made our dining experiences memorable. The hotel's location is unbeatable—perfectly situated for exploring Basel and incredibly convenient for attending Art Basel just a block away. We loved how easy it was to get around, whether walking to nearby attractions or hopping on public transport. The Pullman Basel Europe is a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. We felt so well taken care of, and it’s clear that the staff takes great pride in ensuring every guest has a wonderful stay. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and look forward to returning in the future.

Such a great hotel. Fab location, very comfy beds and rooms (great pillows!), everything was clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Especially the ladies at breakfast were terribly kind, welcoming and accommodating. Good selection and quality at breakfast, the bread rolls were one of the best ones (only thing I didn’t like were the muffins… they tasted very shop-bought of the cheap version). This was the first time we stayed but certainly this will be our hotel-to-stay-at whenever in Basel.

I traveled with my friend and stayed in the Hotel for one night to attend the Art Basel exhibition. Hotel staff were very helpful and responsive. Offered electricity adapter and a help with a city guide. Breakfast with a good variety and a glass of champagne. Comfortable beds and linen. Convenient parking with a special hotel rates. But hair dryer and no hair conditioner were disappointing. In general it was a pleasant stay.

Great hotel. Convenient location (tram stop literally out front) and walking distance to multiple local attractions. Very thoughtful and kind staff. Large, clean room. We upgraded to a room with a balcony on the 6th floor (picture from balcony included) and it was lovely. Gym also great. Breakfast was perfect. Would highly recommend!

We stayed here for 2 weeks during Eurovision. The hotel was a great location, the tram stops right outside. Very spacious, comfortable rooms. The hotel staff especially in the restaurant at breakfast and in the evening were amazing. An absolute credit to the business, they were all so friendly and went the extra mile to look after us. Small menu but good food in the evening, the fries are the best ever! Thank you for a great stay!

It was a short break but well worth it,The hotel is located close to the centre and easily accesible. I prefer to walk to the main attractions which was easy, however there is Tram and buses close by The room was very comfortable with all amenities needed,An iron would be a good thing to have in the room for those who prefer to do so and to save time moving around. Overall My stay was Amazing and would return.

Yelp
SO GREAT! We stayed in Basel 2 nights before our river cruise. This hotel was one of the cruise line's preferred hotels. The location is GREAT. Right next to a Coop if you need to buy anything, The bus is just a few feet away. You are walking distance from the Marktplatz and the Events Center. Maurice was so helpful. He gave us coupons for the bus, a bus tour and info on how where to take the bus. The rooms were great. Plenty of space for 2 adults. The bathroom opens with 2 sliding doors. So I hope you are comfortable with your room mate. =) You will need an adapter if you are not from the UK and want to charge your devices. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Plenty of selection and service was great. Fresh juice, lots of tea selections and yummy coffee. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Yelp
3.5 Stars. I just realized this hotel was used to be Mercure hotel. Now it's in a new brand, Pullman, which comes with higher price tag. Overall no big complaint. Room is a good size, bed is comfortable and the hotel is not too big which helps to stay rather quite. Pros: Good location. Just a few steps from the tram stop, Clarastrasse. Coop supermarket is next door, which helps you to buy any item. Many restaurants are nearby. Breakfast is good and great espresso machine which makes very good cappuccino and latte Great service. Non-generic toiletries Here are some areas for improvement considering the price and brand. Room coffee offers with instant coffee stick. Nespresso machine should replace this instant coffee. Minibar only offers water for free. Again, all beverages should be free. Gym doesn't have TV or weight. And we have to make a few steps to outside to get to this room.. A bit inconvenient when the weather is cold or wet. No bath-rope available. Rooms facing Clarastrasse is directly looking other offices (so impossible to open the curtain)

Yelp
The hotel is very new, and the staff was very friendly. There is a parking garage and a tram stop Infront of it. The room has a very cool design and is very well equipped. The bed is double and not two singles together so that's a plus! It was a Very clean, quiet, modern room. Ask for a room at the back! The only downside is that I couldn't work the a/c but wasn't so hot. Plus the breakfast is overpriced and not included :( aw. Other than that, I would come back for sure! Loved it.

Yelp
This hotel is excellently located, right by numerous tram stops, and we found getting around Basel (and further afield) very straightforward. The staff were all really friendly. We enquired at check-in about the cost to upgrade our room. It was only 20 francs per night, but the only differences would be an espresso machine and bathrobes, so we saved the money. We stayed in room 403. It was clean and large enough, with modern lighting. The bed was a king, but with 2 separate duvets. Unfortunately the bed was really too firm and gave us both sore backs. I also found the 2 doors to the bathroom to be very odd. The weird thing with the doors though was that even though there were 2 bathroom doors, there was only one light switch - so I really have no idea why there was the other door by the bed. There was no light switch when you came in, and you have to put the keycard in a slot for the lights. That's fine, but it turns on all the lights full blast and automatically makes the blind go up - not ideal as our room faced a busy office building. Our room faced the main road and I found it very loud. The noise of the trams and people kept me up, and woke me up numerous times. It also meant we had to sleep with the window closed, which would be fine but the room was really, really warm. There's some eco-friendly system that doesn't let you really change the temperature at all in the room. Our maid wasn't great - we never got new glasses and the bed wasn't made well. But the room didn't seem dirty. Due to the convenient location, the hotel suited us. But while we would definitely return to the lovely Basel, I think we wouldn't return to the Pullman.

Yelp
I booked this hotel for our event series Princess for one day - even went on sale with the tickets - to learn that despite we had confirmed they sold the rooms to someone else. They did not even check back with us - and no help to relocate or whatsoever. Sorry - it may be a nice hotel - but this is a no go for a business professional.

Yelp
November 2017 -This hotel was part of a package on our trip. Check it was long but staff nice. Nice lobby. Clean. Good safety precautions. Hall had an unusual odor but room was fine. Nice size room, two single beds nice, clean. Bathtub very high step up and in and a little difficult to step out if older or short. Lighting system different. After 2 days still could not turn off one lamp without turning off all. Take plug adapter. They had cell phone USB plug but no US plug socket. Ate at the restaurant 3 times ( one lunch, two breakfasts) and enjoyed the food each time. Everything in Switzerland is expensive. There is a grocery store next door and cheaper for food/snacks. The tram 6 & 15 is right out front and can get you everywhere.
