Pullman Brisbane Airport

Firstly I thought it would be far more convenient but it was a $30 fare from the airport - Uber actually wanted even more! I booked when I thought I'd extend our Bali holiday by enjoying an executive suite for the final night. I asked 3 separate times in emails for a rollaway plus sofa to be made up as a bed, as well as mentioning it again when we checked in exhausted at 1am, and was assured that they had. No - they had a rollaway but not made up the sofa. So I shared with my daughter and ended up not sleeping till almost 4am. The lounge was nondescript and basic and not in any way worth choosing the hotel for. Decor was basic and bland, overall it just felt like a very average Novotel, there was nothing in any way premium about this. The bathroom was open to the room so not ideal when sharing with teen daughters. Lights were incredibly bright. As a Platinum member welcome gift they gave us a small box of Lindt balls which my daughters enjoyed. Breakfast wasn't great either and certainly not worth paying extra for (initially they wanted me to pay extra for my 15yo as the 3rd person in the room, till I reminded them that Platinum get free breakfast anyway). I would have done much better to pay 2/3 of the price of the suite to get 2 x separate rooms at the Ibis next door, and just get a better breakfast at the airport.

I had an unexpected international flight change that made me have a layover for an overnight stay in Brisbane. The hotel is close to airport. I took an uber because I had 3 bags, but they have access for a shuttle from airport. I got there right on time before the pool closed. It was really nice and the restaurant onsite was top tier. Room was comfortable and luxurious with great soaps and shampoos. I highly recommend!

Disappointing and judgmental experience - 08/01/25 After an extremely long and stressful day of travel and rescheduling cancelled flights due to cyclones, we arrived at Pullman Brisbane Airport hoping for a comfortable and welcoming stay. Check-in was smooth, and the woman assisting us at reception was genuinely helpful, which we appreciated. After dropping our bags in the room, we came back downstairs intending to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. At the front desk, we were met by a gentleman named Markus, who informed us there was “no room” for us. We politely explained that we were more than happy to be split across two tables we had had a very tough day and were simply hoping for a nice meal without leaving the hotel. Rather than offering any alternative or showing understanding, Markus looked one of us up and down and stated that “no flip flops” were allowed, before suggesting we go next door to a more casual pub. The tone was dismissive, unwelcoming, and frankly judgmental. The footwear in question were $300 sandals and in no way flip flops but regardless of price, the way this was handled was inappropriate. I understand dress standards, but this is an airport hotel catering to travellers who have often been in transit all day. The lack of empathy, combined with the condescending attitude, was disappointing and left us feeling unwelcome at a time when hospitality should have been at its strongest. A far cry from the level of service expected from a Pullman property.

Check in was a breeze. The room was had lots of space and was very clean. The shower pressure was great and the towels super soft. We had a few relaxing drinks in the bar and the service and ambiance was great. Check out was easy and it was a short stroll to the airport in the morning. Would thoroughly recommend staying at the Pullman Brisbane Airport and would stay there again.

Given being a Pullman and its location I thought the price of the room was good. Saves waking up early and get a taxi. Booking was easy online. Got into brisbane early and was able to store luggage while room was ready and concierge helped take my bags. Room beautifully appointed, reception staff available to help with questions 24/7. Check in was good and efficient. Check out was quick.

Outstanding! We have started to book the night before we travel to make it easier and it has become part of our overall travel experience. Our most recent stay was outstanding, because they gave us an upgrade to one of the suites (very flash!) We love the restaurant and the staff members in all areas are very professional and welcoming. We joke that we could tell family and friends we're going away on vacation and just stay at the Pullman and that would be enough!

I have stayed multiple times while travelling to, from or through Brisbane and every time I am grateful for the convenience and the luxuries the Pullman offers. It’s perfect for a good nights rest. The staff go above and beyond with excellent service and it’s in a very convenient location within walking distance to the domestic terminal and a short shuttle from international. And the extra added bonus of shopping being only a free 10 min bus ride away too. I’ll always recommend to friends and family to stay to make their travel experience a little less stressful and a little more special.

Excellent on all fronts. Would recommend this place to anyone doing a short layover at Brisbane airport. Easy walk from domestic terminal and there's a free shuttle to international at the airport (or 8 dollaridoos if you get it from the hotel).

Wonderful time at the lounge. Spandid was an excellent bartender and host. If you are in need of food and drink while laying over in Brisbane, this is an excellent spot!
