I am very disappointed with my experience at this hotel, especially with the spa department.
Throughout my entire stay, I experienced consistently rude and unprofessional behavior. On several occasions, three receptionists at the spa were simply looking at their phones, showing no interest in guests. There was no welcome, no explanation of the rules, and no information about the facilities available. In the hospitality and tourism industry, this should be basic knowledge.
After three days, I finally encountered another staff member whose behavior was completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, not suitable for working in tourism at all.
To make matters worse, the steam sauna and the jacuzzi were very disappointing and poorly maintained. If I had known the actual condition and quality of the spa facilities in advance, I would never have paid for my stay at this hotel.
I want to be fair:
I cannot complain about the hotel breakfast (although I personally only had soup due to a surgery I underwent during my stay).
The cleaning staff were good and professional.
However, the spa — which should be a place for relaxation — was the exact opposite. The lack of proper staff, combined with extremely unfriendly attitudes, made guests feel angry, disappointed, and sad instead of relaxed.
This was not only my experience. I heard the same complaints from many other guests I spoke with in the sauna and the gym.
Unfortunately, because of the spa experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
