Pullman Kuching

Stayed here with friends during our visit to Kuching. Overall, the stay was okay, but the toilet clogged 2-3 times, and we had to ask for it to be unclogged each time. The maintenance of the place could be improved, especially for a 5-star hotel. Also, noticed there were some renovation works happening on another block. Could be better, but still decent.

Horrible horrible horrible!!! Worst 5 star hotel ever. First of all during booking, they did not mention that they are under major renovation. Yet they charge you are normal price without….swimming pool, a proper gym. A proper lobby and dining. The temporary gym is a joke as there is no towels, water cups, no gym mat and the equipment are all very dirty. You need to wash your hands after exercising as they will be black by then. As for the bathroom,… imagine no hot water for more than one day! Access to the mall is they a dark flight of stairs which is meant for emergency exit. And renovation starts at 8am in the morning and house keeping wants to clean your room at 8am too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Kuching, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel stands tall in the heart of Kuching City on top of Mathies Hill, offering luxury 5-star comfort with contemporary features and a stunning panoramic view of the Sarawak River. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. The room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, a comfortable king-size bed, and modern amenities such as an LCD TV, interactive device ports, and a rain shower. The cleanliness and attention to detail were impeccable, making my stay very comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's location. It is adjacent to the Hills Shopping Mall and within walking distance to the commercial center and city attractions. This made it very convenient to explore the city and enjoy the local culture and cuisine. The hotel also offers a range of facilities, including a fitness center, pool, and various dining options. Although the swimming pool was closed for renovation during my stay, the hotel had made alternative arrangements for guests at the Waterfront Hotel. This thoughtful gesture ensured that my experience was not compromised. Overall, I highly recommend Pullman Kuching for anyone visiting the city. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I look forward to returning in the future.

My husband and I stayed over the weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday and the service was top-notch. Upon arriving to our room, it was festively decorated with a birthday banner and balloons and there were treats to enjoy. We opted for the buffet breakfast each morning and there was a great variety of foods to enjoy. I gave a 4/5 for the room because I understand they are going through upgrading works but nonetheless the view was spectacular, and the room itself was well cleaned. Thank you for giving us a great stay!

I must express my disappointment with this hotel, as it falls significantly short of expectations. Although it boasts a 5-star rating, the rooms, amenities, and facilities are outdated and poorly maintained. The towels are worn, the bed linens feel cheap, and the cups are stained while the plates have chips. ||For a hotel catering to frequent travelers, it's astonishing that there’s only one power outlet in the room, located on just one side of the bed. When I asked for an extension cord, the receptionist initially informed me that they didn’t have any available. After some persistence, I finally received one, which I really appreciated. ||Breakfast was quite disheartening, featuring stale bread and pastries, burnt roti canai, and fruit flies on the fruit platters. To top it off, margarine was served under the guise of butter. It seems like the management is cutting corners to save costs. ||Additionally, there was no prior notice at check-in about the gym and outdoor pools being closed for renovations, which is quite unacceptable. ||On a positive note, the staff members are friendly and genuinely try to meet the needs of the guests, which does help make the stay a bit more bearable. ||Despite being charged for a 5-star experience, the overall quality feels more akin to a 3-star hotel.

I recently stayed at the Pullman Hotel in Kuching and wanted to share my experience. The hotel's luxury lobby and spacious, clean rooms were impressive. The bathroom was particularly massive, and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her bath time. The view from the hotel room was very nice, adding to the overall pleasant stay.The food at the hotel was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. However, I noticed that the swimming pool was not operational as it was still under construction. I hope to see it completed soon as it would be a great addition to the hotel's amenities.

Overall good hotel , clean and very good bed to sleep. Only downside is stayed level 20 corridor very smelly, the smell can get in the room after some time. Got upgraded to executive suite so lucky the bed far from door.. Ac very cold so gotya adjust or off at night. Shower water pressure good and hot no issue. Overall will stay again, staff make u feel welcomed all the time. Breakfast choice and quality good, coffee good ground type..

We were welcomed by warm and friendly front desk staff and allowed early check-in. Our room was upgraded to executive suite from a king executive room. However, although the room is spacious, it only has basic amenities. The television was small and old with limited channels. Cocktail served at the club lounge and food served at breakfast was a disappointment. I think there are many things to be considered for the hotel to improve further.
