Arrived for a weekend away for a concert in the city. When we checked in we got upgraded to an Executive level suite. Very unexpected but very much appreciated. The room was very spacious and nice. Only down side was we had booked twin beds. With the upgrade we didn’t get the two beds, however we made it work for the one night. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great atmosphere.

My son and I were in Melbourne for one night for family reasons and we booked a twin (double beds) room at this hotel. When we arrived at the hotel (from Melbourne airport) we were greeted by George the concierge. What a delightful man George is and what an asset he is to this hotel. We felt so welcomed to the hotel. He even waved us goodbye when we left the following day! Mardi checked us in and she was delightful too and gave us our room key even though it was prior to check in time. We appreciated this very much as we had to be at our function by 2.00pm. These two people were the only staff we interacted with for our stay and we felt they were both excellent employees to have in this hotel. ||Our room was very good too with two double beds which were very comfortable as were the pillows and lovely fluffy towels and robes. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we were in Melbourne.||My son travels a lot for business and he was impressed with the staff and quality of the room but wasn't impressed by the car parking charge (we didn't use this facility on this visit). He thought it was very expensive and would put him off staying there again as he needs a car for his business trips.||All in all, our stay was excellent and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

We recently stayed at The Pullman for our wedding. When we say it was the best stay and it completely made our wedding weekend, we’re not exaggerating. The team, the service, the attention to detail, it’s immaculate and it made our stay one we’ll always remember. Andy and Will at concierge made our stay one we’ll always remember. They always had super smiley faces, were so helpful and friendly/kind and nothing was too much of a hassle. These two men gave us world class customer experience and we hope to see them again when we stay. Thanks Andy and Will! We’re already planning our one year anniversary stay because we loved the room and team so much - thank you!!

Great hotel! The gentlemen who checked us in was super lovely and informative. We stayed with our little one for our anniversary and they offered us a crib and were very understanding of the challenges when travelling with a tiny human. Parking was available for a fee overnight. The bar and restaurant staff were lovely too. Great location , right across the MCG ! We'll be going back for sure !

Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Very close to MCG! The concierge staff was very courteous and friendly on welcome. I ordered breakfast and my coffee wasn't too hot and they made me a new hot one which I appreciate, shout out to Aish for outstanding service. Keep up the good work!

Have not stayed here for quite few years when it was The Hilton. The hotel has been perfectly maintained and spotless. All the staff that I came in contact with were excellent, but a very special mention to a young lady in the bar/restaurant/lounge, Ariel (not sure of the spelling) who was exceptional and I trust the Company has her earmarked for higher position training. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

We found the Pullman Melbourne On The Park very central to the Margaret Court Arena for a show we were attending and not too far to walk to the CBD. The rooms were clean and modern. The only thing I missed was a working steam room but the sauna got good use. Thank you

Politely greeted at the door and check in process was very streamlined. I then went to the football and when I returned there was a cake and a bottle of wine for my birthday gifted to us in our room. The views from the room are always fantastic and the breakfast buffet is top-notch. We will be staying here again next time we are in Melbourne. We love coming back to the Pullman.

Yelp
some person named Julie had very good customer server she would ask for name so she can get to know the customer, no other place does that the food was very good i would recommend

Yelp
For a 5 star hotel the food was nothing more than average, with high prices over 30$ for a burger the food took over 50 minutes to arrive on a not so busy day, when the food arrived the pie was frozen on the centre, chips were cold, and small portions for the price. I would never come here again and for a high end hotel they should be ashamed!

Yelp
An old fave the seafood buffet, and with a weekday happy hour of $5 wines you cannot lose with a few wines pre dinner and the buffet is reasonable given I had about 20 Oysters and a dozen or so prawns..... the meat offerings were great and to see Agnes and her sister still offering amazing service (30 year veterans) it is great to see an old familiar face from Hilton days. The make over in the lobby bar and restaurant is fantastic and great amenities too.

Yelp
Let's start with the good bits, being the location. It's always great to be in a hotel that's close enough to the Melbourne CBD, and not far enough out that you need to take a cut lunch and a walking stick to get anyway. Add in regular tram and train services right outside the door, and you're set for transport. The location is also great if you're attending any events near the Melbourne Olympic Parks, as you've got the MCG, Rod Laver, AAMI all within walking distance. No need to battle the crowds for transport after a great event. Sadly, there wasn't anything else to make this hotel feel like it had the special touch for me. The rooms are recently rennovated, but a failure to properly make the rooms and the building airtight - you end up with a whistling noise through the higer floors every once in a while. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. Even in an upgraded deluxe room, they are quite small. Water efficency isn't great, and the toilets use too much water and need to be double-flushed. Add to that a combined bath/shower that's hard to get out of; and poor drainage which means any water leaking out is likely to make your morning paper wet if you've not brought it in. Also, their breakfast restaurant needs some work. The service is inconsistent, with poor attention to guests, and even poorer quality hot beverage service. And sadly, the hot items were also inconsistent - being great some days, but terrible on others. The lobby also is overdue for rennovation, with an excees of wood in extreemly dark hues, that don't make for a pleasent entrance; and with a check-in desk area that's poorly designed, and easily gets cramped and makes the lobby hard to navigate to and from the lifts when full. Overall, there's still a lot of work to be done on this property after being purchased from the Hilton group. Let's hope they get this done, to ensure that they can deliver a quality Pullman experience on every level.
