I was initially very disappointed when my pre-booked Great Ocean Road tour was unexpectedly cancelled. However, my experience completely turned around thanks to the incredible kindness and dedication of Miss Se Min Park at the reception. She went out of her way to contact other tour companies and genuinely tried her best to help me secure another booking. Because of her sincere efforts, I was still able to enjoy the tour, and I was deeply touched by her thoughtfulness and care. On the day of the tour, I also accidentally left my bag in a taxi and felt completely lost about what to do. Once again, the hotel staff acted quickly and kindly by contacting the taxi company and the driver. When I returned from the tour, my bag had already been safely recovered and kept at the hotel. I cannot express how relieved and grateful I was. The breakfast was wonderful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel made my trip truly comfortable and relaxing. Pullman Hotel provided not just a place to stay, but a sense of genuine care and hospitality. I will definitely choose Pullman Hotel again in the future. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience.

Had an amazing stay at the Pullman! We checked in just after midnight with my toddler, and the whole process was incredibly smooth. The night manager/auditor (sorry I forgot the name) was friendly, efficient, and made everything easy for us. Throughout the stay, the front office team were absolutely extraordinary — professional, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room was perfect with no issues at all. Special shout-out to the Vietnamese room service gentleman (name forgotten), Jack from the restaurant, and Aslee from Concierge. They were all fabulous at their jobs — fast, responsive, and went above and beyond what we expected. Their service truly made our stay even better. Wishing all the staff the very best, and thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Ten out of ten for customer service, lovely reception staff and attentive concierge staff. Nothing was too much trouble, service was with a smile. Room was beautiful, and clean and everything smelt fresh. The late night 24/7 food provision was fantastic after our concert outing. The buffet breakfast was fabulous, with a vast menu to choose from. Staff were attentive and extremely professional. We felt very welcome. The only place I will consider staying at in the future. Thank you everyone at the Pullman, much appreciated.

I booked here as it was a very good price per night but also high ratings, can’t say enough good about it. Wonderful attentive staff on arrival! Beautiful room, basic king room but so big with a sofa, park views and great facilities! Immaculate and clean, comfy bed and beautiful bathroom. On 17 th floor, Breakfast was superb and bar is lovely. Beautiful staff so friendly., love the outdoor heated pool, amazing location next to tram stop, park, and so close to CBD. Top notch.

We recently celebrated my son Senon’s 18th at this beautiful hotel, and the entire experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we began planning, Lex, the Senior Sales Manager, was absolutely amazing supportive, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. His professionalism and genuine care set the tone for everything that followed. A heartfelt thank you also to Michelle Schembri, who was the true backbone of the night. Michelle’s organisation, calmness, and attention to detail were outstanding. Nothing was ever too much for her every request was handled with such warmth and professionalism. She made the entire process seamless and ensured everything ran perfectly on the night. The hotel and staff were incredible. Every team member went above and beyond, offering warm, attentive service that made our guests feel looked after from start to finish. The venue looked stunning and created the perfect atmosphere for the evening. And the food was exceptional beautifully presented, generous, and absolutely delicious. Our guests were full of compliments! Thanks to Lex, Michelle Schembri, and the entire team, Senon’s milestone celebration became a night we will cherish forever. Exceptional service, beautiful hospitality, and a team that truly cares.

From the moment I arrived I knew I was going to have a great experience. Matthew greeted me at the front door (I arrived at 8.45pm) and escorted me to the front desk, ensuring I felt comfortable and that I was checked in securely and felt at ease. The staff were very pleasant and happy to answer any questions and eager to make everything run smoothly. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and I had a great view of the MCG all lit up for the AC/DC concert. Room service was quick and easy to order, and the meal I ordered was beautifully cooked. The bed was large and very comfortable. My only issue was the TV, I couldn’t get it working to watch anything, but I didn’t bother asking for help as I had a book with me anyway, and rarely have time to read uninterrupted. All in all, I was very happy with everything and would stay again in a heartbeat.

absolutely amazing. in the executive level, staff super welcoming and polite. went in the executive lounge and got amazing service from James was 10/10. room was brilliant even had a welcoming message on the tv. the food amazing and in the morning there breakfast was 11/10. couldn't fault a thing. we enjoyed our stay.

Great location particularly if you're a sports fan. Easy access to CBD by foot or tram. Rooms clean and quiet, good bathroom with supplies. Bed a little firm for me but still ok. Great customer service, valet parking at reasonable cost. Breakfast has a good range of options. Restaurant meal was lovely. Would stay again.

For a 5 star hotel the food was nothing more than average, with high prices over 30$ for a burger the food took over 50 minutes to arrive on a not so busy day, when the food arrived the pie was frozen on the centre, chips were cold, and small portions for the price. I would never come here again and for a high end hotel they should be ashamed!

An old fave the seafood buffet, and with a weekday happy hour of $5 wines you cannot lose with a few wines pre dinner and the buffet is reasonable given I had about 20 Oysters and a dozen or so prawns..... the meat offerings were great and to see Agnes and her sister still offering amazing service (30 year veterans) it is great to see an old familiar face from Hilton days. The make over in the lobby bar and restaurant is fantastic and great amenities too.

Let's start with the good bits, being the location. It's always great to be in a hotel that's close enough to the Melbourne CBD, and not far enough out that you need to take a cut lunch and a walking stick to get anyway. Add in regular tram and train services right outside the door, and you're set for transport. The location is also great if you're attending any events near the Melbourne Olympic Parks, as you've got the MCG, Rod Laver, AAMI all within walking distance. No need to battle the crowds for transport after a great event. Sadly, there wasn't anything else to make this hotel feel like it had the special touch for me. The rooms are recently rennovated, but a failure to properly make the rooms and the building airtight - you end up with a whistling noise through the higer floors every once in a while. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. Even in an upgraded deluxe room, they are quite small. Water efficency isn't great, and the toilets use too much water and need to be double-flushed. Add to that a combined bath/shower that's hard to get out of; and poor drainage which means any water leaking out is likely to make your morning paper wet if you've not brought it in. Also, their breakfast restaurant needs some work. The service is inconsistent, with poor attention to guests, and even poorer quality hot beverage service. And sadly, the hot items were also inconsistent - being great some days, but terrible on others. The lobby also is overdue for rennovation, with an excees of wood in extreemly dark hues, that don't make for a pleasent entrance; and with a check-in desk area that's poorly designed, and easily gets cramped and makes the lobby hard to navigate to and from the lifts when full. Overall, there's still a lot of work to be done on this property after being purchased from the Hilton group. Let's hope they get this done, to ensure that they can deliver a quality Pullman experience on every level.
