What an amazing place to stay. We visited this weekend, and attended a concert in the area. From the moment we arrived we were impressed. The customer service was remarkable, the room was spotless and so quiet. The public transport options are right outside the front door. We also had their buffet breakfast and it was amazing. Very busy though, get there before 8:30am! We have stayed in Melbourne so many times, but generally stay inside the city. I will most certainly look at booking here again next time we visit.

I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. The room was spacious, clean, and well-designed, with modern amenities and a very comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed city views and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. The restaurant staff were friendly and ensured everything was just right. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, transport and the amazing view of the MCG and the city lights at night. Overall, a great experience.

Check in was disappointing, we got into our room 45mins late. They forgot to text that it was ready. The young concierge was very good and apologetic. Our room although smaller than I expected was very nice and clean and comfortable. Great views of the sporting precinct. Had dinner in the restaurant, had Julia as our waitress and she was fantastic, remembering our names, a lovely lady. Found all staff to be exceptionally friendly and professional. Great buffet breakfast.

We stayed here for 1 night. The location of this hotel is fantastic if you are attending a sporting event as the MCG. Rod Laver Arena or the Glass House are so close. The hotel is also close to Bridge Rd for dining and shopping. There is a tram stop at the front of the hotel and Jolimont Train Station is also over the road where you can catch a train to Flinders St Station and change trains to go anywhere you want. The Fitzroy Gardens are across the road and it's a short walk into the city centre.||The hotel itself is really nice. There is parking under the hotel and check in was easy. I did find the lobby very cold. Once we arrived at our room, we booked a Superior Room, with a king size bed which was very comfy, good pillows, large tv mounted on the wall, a small round table with 2 chairs, a small couch against the window with a coffee table. The bathroom had a single vanity, large walk-in shower with great water pressure and temperature. Robes were nice and soft, warm too. The standard amenities provided too. The room was of a good size with the bathroom being a tad small, but ok. ||We had breakfast included and it was excellent. The variety of foods, the usual fruits, cereals, breads, eggs etc. Tea & coffee was self-serve and they had teapots for tea!||The only improvement would be to have the lobby a lot warmer; I found it quite uncomfortable. ||It's a shame Tripadvisor don't have a category of "Very Good", as this hotel will fall under it.||Overall, this hotel is good, staff are lovely and would recommend a stay here.

Advertised as five-star; I don't think so. If you want five-star, go to the Sofitel instead. As an ALL member, I don't expect to have to wait for my room to be ready when checking in, yet it was past 2pm and our room wasn't ready. We ended up not receiving our original room, and although I'd paid for a room with a superior view, it was on the opposite side to the MCG etc and consisted of mainly boring grey buildings (although yes, it was on a higher level - one level lower than our original room). There was no explanation for this. We were told that our room was getting the final quality check done; not that they had switched our room. We only know because on the birthday card received, it had our original room written on it. We had no minibar - all we had in the room were the usual tea and coffee facilities and glasses. There are no Foxtel channels, although you can stream from your phone to the TV. I would expect Foxtel in a five-star hotel. The robes are presented on the only two towel hooks in the bathroom, meaning that you have to move these into the cupboard in order to have somewhere to hang your towels. You have to almost dislocate your shoulder in order to reach the toilet paper with where it has been positioned. Beds are comfy and we appreciated the pillow menu, although when I called reception to get a different pillow, it didn't connect me and hung up on me twice. Thankfully there was someone from housekeeping in the hallway who could arrange this for me. Great location if you're going to the MCG, Rod Laver or AAMI Stadium. We probably won't be back; we'll be at the Sofitel instead.

I've been this hotel so many times travelling as air crew...and most of the time I've had a very pleasant stay. I enjoy so much to breath some fresh air after every flight in the park just next to the hotel. Rooms are quite huge, silent, clean and provided with all comforts. Food & Beverage offer is definitely remarkable, including room service either, with a lot of gourmet dishes among meat, seafood and also some interesting vegetarian alternatives. I love their double cooked pork belly, the glazed duck and their vegetables toast. Breakfast buffet is very rich and variegated, with a many options among savoury, sweet and healthy options The only out of the tunes of this hotel are: the gym, which definitely too small and limited in space and equipment for such a big hotel, and also the fact that for many events happening in the hotel and in the nearby stadium the main hall get easily crowed, and for the hotel's guest get quite difficult to order something to eat or drink. Apart from that, absolutely recommended hotel.

I attended an industry awards night at Pullman Melbourne on the Park, and it was an excellent venue.,The location was convenient, the rooms were spacious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. All the staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming. A special mention to Connor at the bar, he was very helpful, easy to chat with, and even recommended great spots for us to continue the night after the event!

Yelp
For a 5 star hotel the food was nothing more than average, with high prices over 30$ for a burger the food took over 50 minutes to arrive on a not so busy day, when the food arrived the pie was frozen on the centre, chips were cold, and small portions for the price. I would never come here again and for a high end hotel they should be ashamed!

Yelp
An old fave the seafood buffet, and with a weekday happy hour of $5 wines you cannot lose with a few wines pre dinner and the buffet is reasonable given I had about 20 Oysters and a dozen or so prawns..... the meat offerings were great and to see Agnes and her sister still offering amazing service (30 year veterans) it is great to see an old familiar face from Hilton days. The make over in the lobby bar and restaurant is fantastic and great amenities too.

Yelp
Let's start with the good bits, being the location. It's always great to be in a hotel that's close enough to the Melbourne CBD, and not far enough out that you need to take a cut lunch and a walking stick to get anyway. Add in regular tram and train services right outside the door, and you're set for transport. The location is also great if you're attending any events near the Melbourne Olympic Parks, as you've got the MCG, Rod Laver, AAMI all within walking distance. No need to battle the crowds for transport after a great event. Sadly, there wasn't anything else to make this hotel feel like it had the special touch for me. The rooms are recently rennovated, but a failure to properly make the rooms and the building airtight - you end up with a whistling noise through the higer floors every once in a while. The bathrooms leave much to be desired. Even in an upgraded deluxe room, they are quite small. Water efficency isn't great, and the toilets use too much water and need to be double-flushed. Add to that a combined bath/shower that's hard to get out of; and poor drainage which means any water leaking out is likely to make your morning paper wet if you've not brought it in. Also, their breakfast restaurant needs some work. The service is inconsistent, with poor attention to guests, and even poorer quality hot beverage service. And sadly, the hot items were also inconsistent - being great some days, but terrible on others. The lobby also is overdue for rennovation, with an excees of wood in extreemly dark hues, that don't make for a pleasent entrance; and with a check-in desk area that's poorly designed, and easily gets cramped and makes the lobby hard to navigate to and from the lifts when full. Overall, there's still a lot of work to be done on this property after being purchased from the Hilton group. Let's hope they get this done, to ensure that they can deliver a quality Pullman experience on every level.
