We stayed at Pullman Paris Montparnasse for 4 nights in February and had quite a few issues with the rooms which was disappointing to say the least. The first room we were given had a toilet flush that was barely working and when we asked for it to be fixed, the technician made it worse, ran for the door and when I tried running it, it was still broken, then he “fixed” it again only to make the matter worse and the flush was leaking and totally stopped working. Later that evening we noted this at front desk and the manager upgraded us to another room… while we appreciated a little more room as a family and a shower (rather than a tub hard to climb into) for my 70 year old mom in the reservation, this room had issues with its thermostat and felt too warm for us and my 9 month old. We asked for this to be fixed the next day, another technician came, listened to the issue, smiled and left the room abruptly. We weren’t sure anything was done but decided to give them the benefit of doubt and again, later that night we were sweating and concerned about the baby getting hot. My husband went to complain around 2am and the night manager apologized and tried to finally have another technician fix this issue. I think this time there was some improvement but not a whole lot, however this technician brought us a room fan that was not working at all. The hotel managers and front desk employees are very polite and kind and apologized a few times, however the technicians at this hotel are a bit incompetent. The next day, the manager Jessica kindly left us a note with some chocolates and bath toys for my baby which I thought was sweet, however we wouldn’t have needed this had we had rooms with no issues at all. Sadly, I wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel for how overpriced it is and then lacking basic amenities any hotel room should have.
