The hotel is in the best location on Circular Quay, with fabulous Harbour Bridge views. The generous balcony is the perfect place to sit and have a drink and people watch, or watch the ferries come and go. The suite is huge, with a separate lounge, kitchen/ dining, bedroom and bathroom, all large and of good quality. The bathroom had a shower and spa bath. There was a laundry with washing machine and dryer in the room. There is ample hanging space for clothes, an iron and ironing board. It really is a perfect suite in an ideal location. You pay for this experience, though. Nothing is perfect, however and we had a less than ideal time during breakfast service on Christmas morning. We did not receive one of the breakfast dishes, a coffee went missing, none of the juices arrived, the scrambled eggs arrived with no toast, the crumpets had no butter, then after asking twice for butter several serves of butter kept arriving for the rest of the meal. The final juice was brought out by a kitchen hand, not a wait person. It was very disorganised and unprofessional for such an expensive hotel. And my partner took a large gouge out of his foot on the pool stairs. The tiles on the edge of the steps were dangerously sharp. We reported it and the staff seemed to miss the seriousness of the situation, stating they would put out a warning sign near the step. My partner had to climb the Harbour Bridge the next day with a foot injury and this really marred his experience.

We are loyal Accor customers who picked the Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbor for our visit to Sydney. Unfortunately, it was not a great choice. We booked a Garden Apartment room. The positives: the apartment has a very large living room, a decently equipped kitchen and laundry facilities; the location is superb. What could be improved: the bedroom is large but only has one small closet; the bathroom could use some updating and the shower is on the small side and leaked all over the bathroom floor when used because the door didn’t seal properly; and our toilet was wobbly and not attached to the floor. We reported the toilet issue but maintenance did not fix it during our stay. The gym is also quite small and not well equipped (e.g. no floor space to work out, no free weights). What cinched a two star review for me was the service at the hotel restaurant. On Christmas morning I stopped in to see if I could get a latte on my way out; I explained I was a guest at the hotel. I was told the machine was being cleaned and I couldn't get one for 20 min. On my way back over an hour later, I stopped in again to order one and this time got a song and dance from two of the restaurant front desk people that it wasn't possible because the machine was being used for Christmas brunch. I explained what I had been told and then they went looking for someone else; after 5 minutes of waiting I left. This was abysmal service and not what I would expect from an Accor 5 star hotel. A friend who was also staying at the hotel similarly shared a poor service experience, including a rude interaction, with one of these people.

My stay at the Pullman Quay Grand was absolutely lovely. The staff and property were top-notch—clean, efficient, and genuinely thoughtful. I was even offered a complimentary bevvie from the bar, which was a kind touch after the small inconvenience of waiting for my suite to be cleaned. The room was spotless, and the jetted tub was just the ticket after a long, rainy excursion downtown. Access to key points like the international terminal, the CBD, and even across the water to Manly was a breeze straight from the hotel doors. You’ve got dining and shopping right along the docks and The Rocks, so there’s plenty to enjoy without going far. A stroll down the waterfront held stunning views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, and the Royal Botanic Gardens are just around the bend. If offered, don’t skip the brekkie! Breakfast was delicious, hearty, and offered plenty of variety—it included tea, juice, and a proper espresso. All in all, worth every cent. I’m bringing my Mum along next visit. Aloha!

We really appreciated what you get here. We had a water view suite looking over the ferries at the quay and the bridge. The hotel pictures do not really do it justice. It is a surprisingly large apartment with tasteful, modern, clean decor, a sizeable balcony facing the view, very good bed. A very nice place to spend time in and so convenient to the many ferries, the Opera House, park, and restaurants. Overall decent value, and I would definitely stay here again.||The single negative was that they have a strange obsession with trying to limit how much coffee you drink. Breakfast makes it clear only one coffee is included, and the coffee in our room was not replaced when the room was cleaned. One time we asked for more coffee pods in the room, and after two hours, they brought a single one. Very strange, and penny-wise & pound foolish in my view. Doesn’t change my overall impression of what you get here.

Nice apartments with a great view, although bathrooms are showing their age. Whilst long term reception staff (David) remain customer focussed and engaging the newer staff do not seem to have been taught the basics of hospitality - smiling and making the customer feel like they are their number one priority. When I was checking out and talking to David, she came over and said she would handle my check out which was fine. I then followed her over to her desk. Whilst she started doing my checkout, which only required for me to pay for two nights parking she decided that at the same time she needed to tell her colleague to make some reservation for another guest. I understand that the hotel has other clients, but I did expect that when she was dealing with me, after she had specifically asked to serve me that she would give me her exclusive attention. When I pulled her up on this she didn’t apologise just tried to make an excuse for her bad manners.

The view from the room was outstanding, overlooking Circular Quay, the Harbour Bridge, and ferries coming in and out — truly the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately, everything else fell well short of five-star expectations. Reception and room service did not pick up the phone even once, despite multiple attempts. The breakfast menu was extremely limited, and housekeeping was not done properly. If you are looking for a genuine five-star service experience, I would recommend considering other nearby hotels.

The view from the balcony of the Harbour Bridge was great, the location to the light rail station which we used daily was easy. The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable for my family and I. Unfortunately a bag of rubbish was left in our room which I can only guess was when our room and others were getting cleaned.

We had a deluxe garden view and we are so glad we chose the garden view. It was away from all the harbour and noise. we could sit on our balcony in the late afternoon and enjoy a drink and platter overlooking the gardens. Plus as the garden view face east we got wonderful morning sun (dried my washing so well). || Never once did we see anyone on the harbour balconies as they had sun streaming in the afternoon and would just be too hot. ||||The apartment was clean and fresh. We loved the location. Breakfast was great - especially being able to order from menu, rather than having a stoggy buffet. ||||Only gripe is the bed had a bit too much partner disturbance for us. And the dishwasher and laundry powder was not topped up for our 4 night stay. The room was so so quiet and we slept well.

Yelp
I really liked my stay at this hotel, AMAZING VIEW!! If your coming to Sydney and are looking for a hotel with a view, this is where you go! Lovely reception staff, helpful with valet. The housekeepers come around to your room and make you beds and leave fresh towels whenever your out. Good kitchen, dryer and washing machine, dishwasher, spa/bathtub, up to date televisions, complementary hair wash and conditioner, minibar, and to top it all of its in prime location. one thing I know they couldn't really control but depleted the overall quality of my stay was that there was a jackhammer drilling in the room near us at 9:00am, especially when your having a sleep in its a bit of a mood killer. Most other people won't have this problem. :)

Yelp
WOW!!! so we stayed at the TWO BEDROOM GRAND SUITE OF THE PULLMAN QUAY with our two toddlers. We got upgraded for $200 more USD. Definitely the LUX life. Check out the video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRXOAIU5oY0 All those billionaire instagram people show this place off and I wanted to see what the hype was all about. THE VIEW ALONE is amazing! Grab a bottle of wine and drink it on the balcony with a loved one while enjoying the view of the harbour brige while watching the people peruse the pier. ITS STEPS away (3 minutes-5 minutes walk) from the SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE.

Yelp
After realizing I'd only be here 1 night I was disappointed! I wanted my stay to go on and on. A least a week. Friendly staff, beautiful suites with everything you might need available. (Including functional kitchen and laundry.) And wonderful Harbour views that you could reach out and touch. Even if you are in bed. Being able to step out the door and have the city and transport right there made everything effortless.

Yelp
The Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbor was the perfect location for my husband and I to stay after disembarking from a cruise ship in the Circular Quay Harbor. The hotel is about an eight minute walk from the ship terminal. A double decker hop on and off bus stop is right across from the hotel on the Macquarie Street side and we were able to go on a comprehensive tour of Sydney, which included Bondi Beach, on the double decker buses. The hotel is also a short walking distance from the Rocks, Sydney Harbor Bridge, and the Opera House. The Circular Quay train station is about a five minute walk away and there is a train that goes directly to the airport from that station. The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional customer service in all of our interactions with them. Our handsomely decorated suite was the perfect size with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, dining area, living room, bedroom, and bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi tub. Although there is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, there is also a variety of them in the Rocks and between the hotel and the Sydney Opera House. The room was not as clean as it could be with dusty blinds, discolored grout in the bathroom, and the desk was worn and sticky. If not for those shortcomings this hotel would have definitely received 5 stars. If I return to Sydney I will definitely stay at this hotel again!

Yelp
Located right on the Harbor, this place is centrally located near shops on Pitt Street and restaurants on George Street. Ferries can take you almost anywhere. The rooms are clean and well maintained with kitchen and laundry facilities in the room. Also there is a balcony that opens up for fresh air and stunning views. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Yelp
I am frequently in Sydney, and the Quay Grand Suites is my preferred hotel. It's spacious, clean, and conveniently located, near restaurants and the railway station. The suites are appointed with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchenette and fridge. There are two flat panel TVs, one in the living room, the other in the bedroom. The only negative is the shower spray, if directed at the shower door, results in flooding of the bathroom floor. The restaurant is very good, but overpriced. You're mostly paying for the harbour view. Their sister hotel, the Quay West Suites in Melbourne is also quite nice.

Yelp
Great Location. Steps (all within a block or less) from harbor, opera house, ferries, train and bus lines as well as touristy shops and other restaurants and bars. Very convenient. Nice view of bridge and harbor and dock side. We didn't think it was noisy but think that may be a function of having a room away from any construction projects. We liked the suite set up of the room with a full kitchen, en-suite washer/dryer, seperate bedroom and living room where one could nap while others could be up and about. Our room was clean and tidy. And, again, super convenient location. Breakfast included in our rate seemed expensive but once served the food, it was quite a spread which allowed essentially a taste of everything. Held me for a long day traveling. Also about food here: snacks were ok, drinks weren't bad. Concierge and check in employees were super helpful on our morning check-in. We arrived very early from our US flight and were directed to a large guest bathroom that allowed us to freshen up to tour around the city (on hop on/hop off bus stop about 600 feet from the front door) before the room was available. They also happily kept track of our luggage in their secure luggage storage area while we were out and about. We felt safe in this area despite it being "warf-side". Seemed well patrolled and was well lit. We would stay here again and recommend it as a good option for folks who can spend a little bit of money and want to be close to any form of transportation. Not the most expensive in Sydney but certainly not the least either. We thought it was a fair deal.

Yelp
A bit disappointed!! Am here for my wedding, Internet not working, phone not working, shower head fallen off, my mom's room didn't even have a shower door!!! Now, after a 23 hour flight we couldn't take a decent shower, someone came in to fix the Internet (the front desk wanted us to come back down to the lobby to fill out a form for the Internet), now a handyman will be coming to fix our shower head when we just want to nap after a 24 hour travel!! Also, my mom's room in garden view is more like; people on the street get a view of the room!!! To top it off I have maids fighting in my room while cleaning!! Wow!! Where am I??? Nice room, just lacking in service and up keep. Someone is not doing there job and staying on top of things!! Especially, for a 5 start hotel! Disappointed! Try a different hotel in the area.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this premium hotel, too bad it was only for two nights. Amazing location and its worth it to spend extra for the harbour side view rooms. Located right on the Quay you can either exit the building up on Macquarie Street or on the Quay walkway itself. A few minutes walk to the wharf, opera house or rocks and surrounded by shops and restaurants. The property does look a little aged here and there and could use a refresh sometime soon. But the rooms were clean and everything worked great. Our room features a balcony porch overlooking the harbor with remote operated blinds for the sun in the morning. A washer and dryer in the room and a full kitchen. Separate bedroom with comfy bed and plenty of closet space plus a large bathroom with shower or a big hot tub whirlpool. We did not try the restaurant but we did visit the pool and jacuzzi which were beautiful and offered a view of the harbor. The staff were exceptional and very helpful arranging our bag check and taxis. Yes it is pricey although I found a decent deal on Hotels.com that made it worth the expense. I would most certainly stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Very different to other Pullmans, no executive lounge (like other Sydney Pullmans and Melbourne). Rooms are huge and very lux. Very close to Circular Quay train station and food/attractions. I personally wouldn't stay again only because I prefer Pullman Hyde park, Sofitel or QT but would suit very wealthy travellers who need to be in Circular Quay.
