I had my first experience at this café in APW and tried their seasonal menu item — Deng Deng Deck, a pulled beef focaccia open sandwich. My boyfriend gave it a very good review, and while I found it flavorful, it was a little too salty for my taste.
We also had the classic APT (avocado poached egg toast), which was good, although not particularly memorable. That said, their sourdough bread was excellent.
Of course, I had to try something sweet for my café hopping adventure, so I went for the Gula Melaka French Toast. It was wonderfully fluffy, and I loved how they added tangerine to the dish — it helped balance out the sweetness perfectly.
Overall, it’s a decent café for a great breakfast or brunch.
