I think the vibe makes a difference. This location gives me a vintage movie vibe. I think i can sit there for the whole afternoon. Unfortunately the shop is facing west and it’s quite hot there in the summer afternoon. Coffee is good and cup holder pattern is very thoughtful.

Google
Love this cafe and all the character it has to offer! A fun place to hang out, enjoy a fresh coffee and browse through the books! spoilers: they have some very rare and ancient copies of some books :)

Google
A Hidden Gem for Coffee and Book Lovers Alike! Pulp Fiction Coffee House is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're surrounded by shelves of vintage books, giving the place a cozy, literary vibe that sets it apart from any other café in town. The coffee is strong and smooth (the Americano is excellent), and they have a nice selection of teas and pastries too. What really makes this place special is the atmosphere — it’s quiet enough to read or work, but full of character. The staff are friendly, the music is chill, and there’s always something interesting to browse through while you sip your drink. Whether you're here to catch up on reading, get some work done, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee in a unique setting, Pulp Fiction delivers. Highly recommend for anyone who loves caffeine, culture, and a little bit of old-school charm.

Google
Easily the best cafe in Kelowna, I felt so lucky that I got to come here. The drinks are on point, good food, perfect playlist playing in the background, and really special atmosphere. A cafe good for the mind ☕️Thank you for the precious experience. :)

Google
Amazing! Love this cute cafe, the staff, and the atmosphere! Coffee is also great.

Google
Great coffee and cute, cozy ambiance surrounded by books. If you enjoy books and coffee, this is the perfect spot for you. The smell of the old books is nostalgic and the coffee is delicious and very smooth. Friendly service and tasty treats to go with your coffee. Great location downtown to take coffee for a walk to the lake also. A definite must stop in Kelowna.

Google
We tried the espresso - which was the best we had in Kelowna. Super cool vibe. The owner was kind enough to offer us a sample of their espresso milkshake which was divine.

Google
Had a great experience here. Great coffee and service. My pups was spoiled. Was given a free dog biscuit and absolutely loved it. He is typically picky with treats so we bought some to take home with us. Loved exploring all the vintage treasures as well.

Yelp
What a gem! 1/2 restaurant and 1/2 antique/book shop - it will all make you smile. The service was wonderful, we were given samples of an espresso shake that was so good, and loved our Americano and date square. There are tables outside and lots of indoor seating. Open early for breakfast - it's a place you could easily fall in love with! Highly recommend it. And check out their website to get the interesting backstory on the dream behind this unique place!

Yelp
I visited a Pulp Fiction-themed café in downtown Kelowna. The antique bookshelves, vintage goods, tables, and menu board immediately caught my eye, and I fell in love with the retro style of this unique café. Before ordering a drink, I looked around the inside of the coffee shop. The unique design made me feel like I was in a film. I ordered a matcha latte and sat in front of the bookshelf. I loved the ambiance. The latte was pretty good, with a strong matcha flavor and just the right amount of sweetness. They sell their own branded goods, such as tote bags, mugs, and coffee beans. They also offer a food menu, which I'd like to try on my next visit. I highly recommend this place as one of the most unique coffee shops in Kelowna!

Yelp
Stopped here for coffee on my way to the airport today. I had a honey vanilla latte with my usual oat milk and it was deliciousssssss. Unique place with a unique vibe and the pastries looked good too but I didn't try any this time. Only deducting a star because all the staff I interacted with weren't friendly at all, the most standoffish people I've seen in Kelowna, everyone else was so nice here lol. Oh wellllllllll Still recommend because like I said, the coffee was amazing!

Yelp
Stop in for an epic experience sipping fresh coffee and sorting through rare and or out of print books! Thats right folks, SHUT OFF YOUR DEVICES!!! This place is so rad you will leave your watch where ever you're staying!
google avatar

Yelp
Most unique coffee house I've ever come across that offers lots of seasonal drinks such as white chocolate chai latte and turmeric latte. The little reader's corner is also great for studying or catching up with friends. A must see if you're ever in Kelowna.

Yelp
The coffee was great. Friendly helpful staff. Interesting interior. The musty book smell made me head elsewhere for breakfast. Ventilation would make all the difference.

Yelp
On my trip to Kelowna stopped by this coffee shop. Hidden Gem with so much to see. Hidden Gem of a location. Good coffee with even a great smile. Will stop by on my next trip for sure. Thanks to the staff for giving me tip on locations and spots. Cheers.

Yelp
This is the best coffee house in town! Literally Max and his team are amazing. We had caramel macchiatos today and breakfast croissants and sat on the patio. Beautiful sunny Kelowna day and our puppy got to sit with us. The place is so cozy inside and outside, you gotta stop by here!
google avatar

Nami A.

Yelp
Such a lovely space to grab yummy tea or coffee and study! I had the breakfast croissant and it was so delicious. They've got a variety of vintage books available and some antiques too! The people working there are so sweet and kind and if you get a chance to pet R2 and give him huggies please do! There is just one thing: I wish they would remove the shock collar on R2. It makes my heart ache a little every time I see him.
google avatar

Kiara R.

Yelp
The best environment, lovely service that went above and beyond to make everyone feel at home. It is a place I feel comfortable in to decompress, read or write! A MUST stop visit if you're ever in Kelowna.

Yelp
I wish this coffee place was also in Vancouver! When I visited Kelowna, we had breakfast and coffee here and it was too good so we had to go back for the next day! They have the whole cool picture section you can purchase nice vintage posts for souvenirs in the corner, other vintage items in the other room. Staffs are super nice and authentic people, food is real amazing, coffee-don't even compare with Starbucks.. one of the reasons I am dying to go back to Kelowna!

Yelp
My husband loves Paralell 49 coffee, this great little spot served him up a perfect made cappuccino.. their baked goods are very fresh and they have a nice selection of different items. As a collector, it was interesting browsing through the eclectic selection of older books and antique items. Had a nice table outside enjoying the sunny morning. Will return.

Yelp
I saw the name on Yelp and decided to go in there because I so love Pulp Fiction. Love the interiors and the 70's vibe in there. For a lover of books, this is a great place to lose yourself. So many books and good coffee. I couldn't really find a large breakfast selection though, since I dont like pastries as much. I would definitely go there have a coffee, sit and read for a while.

Yelp
* A good espresso in a nice setting * It is surprisingly difficult to find a good espresso in the Okanagan. But Pulp Fiction came to the rescue (several times) with a reliably pulled smooth espresso. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz_photos/pulp-fiction-coffee-house-kelowna?select=otS1GZp2phDZ37c26OGu9w#syJXfo1Ddv9tOWfzd1y6ag The setting is in the old downtown, but has a very renovated feel. The cafe is decorated with a ton of classic Pulp Fiction posters and books. A nice feel. Throw in a strong free wifi connection for the laptop campers and it is a good mix overall in a nice setting (minus the above mentioned laptop campers of course).....

Yelp
This is the coolest coffee shop I've been to in a very long time. First off, I love the idea of combining coffee with a used book store! This is such a natural pairing and Pulp Fiction proves it. My friend and I spent a good half hour walking around browsing through all the books before we finally sat down to order our drinks. There are also book cover prints for sale which I couldn't resist. I can't wait to hang some of the cheeky prints up on my apartment walls. Pulp Fiction has a great selection of coffees and teas, but they are best known for their London Fog. I was skeptical but wow! This was the best London Fog I've ever had. I'm not sure what they do differently than other shops, but it was so incredibly creamy and perfectly sweetened. Yum! I'm definitely craving one right now. If you get the chance to stop by here, definitely check out the rare books section and give the poodle Robbie some love!

Yelp
I adore Pulp Fiction! It's a lovely, relaxed spot to come and hang out in downtown Kelowna. The staff are always super friendly, and the drinks are delicious too. The whole place is themed around Pulp Fiction (the style of book, not the movie!) so there are book covers next to each drink on the menu, and amazing campy artwork everywhere. There's also an antique and book store inside the coffee shop which sells oodles of amazing pulp fiction! Not only that, but the walls of the coffee shop are lined with interesting looking books, and there are also prints for sale in another area of the shop. It's a really fun, eclectic spot with a young vibe - I often see students here working away on their laptops. It's a comfortable place to grab a great coffee and people watch - I highly recommend it!

Tamiko K.

Yelp
Love this place. Used to go here all the time to study when I was in school. Such a cool venue. Great coffee and snacks!

Yelp
We visited this shop twice during our 3 day stay in Kelowna. We really loved it!! Very convenient location downtown. The decor was so awesome, and we loved walkimg through the back rooms looling at all the books. BONUS: the cutest doggy ever!!! We loved petting R2 the poodle :) our coffees were super tasty and so were our breakfast sandwiches. We would highly recommend going here.
google avatar

Rosemarie T.

Yelp
Beautiful gem of a book cafe found in Kelowna! I had a London Fog with a delicious chocolate cookie. Both I fell in love with and had a craving for seconds. Great service and wonderful books surrounding the cafe. Will come back for my next visit up there!
google avatar

Yelp
Went here on a whim because a worker was handing out samples of a smoothie that was amazing. The inside is really cool! They have interesting decorations all around the store and they also have a very interesting library with a dog!! The coffee was really good and so were their sandwiches (though they were a little small). Overall great place with a great vibe!
google avatar

Stacylee P.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast croissants that are served all day. Staff are very friendly. Venue is chill and pretty cool with the interior decorating (nostalgia vibes). Coffee is pretty decent.
google avatar

Alicia M.

Yelp
One of my favourite coffee shops in Kelowna. Love the atmosphere. Food and drinks have all been great. All of the antiques and books are fun to browse as well as saying hello and giving rub to the dog thats usually inside.
google avatar

Yelp
Great atmosphere, coffee, and little bookstore! Could spend hours there! Been goin for years. Parking in parkade close by. Convenient

Yelp
Best coffee shop in town! Great coffee and the Sebbie Breakfast sandwich rocks my world. Perfect bacon every time.

Vee V.

Yelp
Very unique place to visit. It offers delicious coffee with an unbeatable charm with old antique items as well as old pictures throughout. The shop has some indoor and outdoor seating and even an antique shop inside. I can't believe that the owner would have balls to start such a nice coffee shop when everyone else is flocking to create these modern clean west coast type coffee shops. Well done! By the way parking is free across the street at the multi level parking on evening weekends.
google avatar

Pear B.

Yelp
Excellent coffee house that has a great vibe with books and other items that makes getting a coffee from here very enjoyable and not feel like any other generic coffee shop.
google avatar

Kelly B.

Yelp
Pulp Fiction is a unique and original coffee shop, serving a great variety of treats and coffee beverages. When I arrived I noticed that they brew and serve 49th Parallel coffee beans; admittedly one of my least favourite beans. However, the latte I ordered was very good! My husband was delighted to find the equivalent to what we know as the "Red Eye" which is a brewed coffee topped with a shot of espresso. Our friend ordered a regular coffee and date square, which was warmed & served with whipped cream. Service was friendly and fast. There was plenty of seating, both indoors and outside.
google avatar

Paula H.

Yelp
Max is the owner of this coffee shop and let me tell you, this place is perfection! Everything about this place is amazing! Over 7 filled rooms of collective antaquarium books and neat collectives. Great selection of drinks and Cafe snacks.
google avatar

Kenneth N.

Yelp
A cool corner place off the main road, with a bit of retro and music albums theme going around. Enjoyed the Parallel coffee that we also have back home. Sat at the patio, wrap-around which was kinda cool, kinda laid back that if I worked here, I'd be here all day, no pressure. Ordered also a nanaimo bar, not too sweet, and boy, was it ever cheap, $1.75. friendly service.
google avatar

Amy S.

Yelp
One of my favorites places to stay and work outside of the office. The atmosphere is a great classic vibe, Max is a wonderful owner who is passionate about his business and book collection, and Robbie is the additional treat that you didn't know you needed until he greats you at the Bookstore threshold. All of the little niches of the book and antique side of things are great to explore. My fave: Squirrely Bar with a London Fog. They use a Cream of Earl Grey for their LF over the regular Earl Grey that most franchise coffee shops use and it is amazing. If it is a bit of a hotter day then any of the milkshakes or smoothies with a croissant is a good swap out!
google avatar

Yelp
My fiancé and I were in town visiting and decided to wander around downtown Kelowna. Somehow it turned into a coffee expedition where we popped around different coffee places and had the same drink at each one. I had a chai tea latte and it was my #1 pick out of the 8 places we stopped at during that day. The girls who work there are really nice, service is quick, and all of their food looks and smells so good! Also make sure you check out the antiques and book store...and Robbie the dog!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a really cute place. It's a cafe, bookstore, and antique store. The interior is a bit of a mishmash of a diner, a private library from the late 18th century, and then there's this stone wall that looks out of place. I wonder how long the cafe has been here; the wall looks like it was inherited from the previous owners. Breakfast sandwiches are made to order and they have fresh baked goods (don't know if they are made in house). My favourite thing here is the pick me up bar. I believe it is a flax based bar that is coated with dark chocolate. I've never been able to have just one because I finish the damn thing while waiting for my chai tea. There must be a bit of milk in the bar because I had three of them (so, really, that means I deserve it for being such a glutton) and behind lactose intolerant, I felt sick for a couple of hours. But I continue to order them because they are that good. The chai is average but I would come back here and have because it's a cool little spot with some great Munchies.
google avatar

Ciara M.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of visiting Kelowna for work and I was so excited to try as many local coffee spots as possible. This cute little spot is so close to a Starbucks, but trust me when I say you should walk past Starbucks and go here. Not just because it's a local spot, but because it's awesome. I loved it here! The location is adorable and they have a great menu of beverages and food. I'm simple and I only got a latte, but it was great! I wish I had more time in Kelowna on this trip to come back again and try other things, but I'll save it for my next trip.

Yelp
I love Pulp Fiction! We visited at the end of our vacation in Kelowna -- wished we had come in earlier. Lots of books and magazines to browse and super-fast, secure WiFi (ask at the counter for pw). My husband had an iced latte and I had reg latte with beautiful foam art. The staff is super-friendly and remembered my name from my order when I approached the counter later. It's a bright place to hang out, browse some books and magazines and enjoy delicious drinks in the midst of book cover posters. It's NOT at all pierced-tattooed-pretentious-coffee-hipster, which is a relief lately!

Shayne S.

Yelp
This place is super rad, even if you don't want coffee or food. It's almost like a museum of book stores, tied in with quite delicious breakfast items as I found out.
google avatar

Campbell A.

Yelp
Awesome place for a quick breakfast bite and a strong well extracted coffee. Was given a free cold drip coffee to try!
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Pulp Fiction captures atmosphere and ambience in a blend (coffee) that supports social connections. The coffee is great and the baristas fun and friendly.
google avatar

Dion B.

Yelp
Excellent little coffee shop. They also have a great selection of used books. The service is fantastic and I noticed they seemed to know the first names of the locals who come here regularly. I had the summer special green jasmine lavender tea and it was very good. The cinnamon bun was also great. I wish we had a coffee shop like this in Red Deer.
google avatar

D J.

Yelp
What a lovely little cafe. I love the old school decor and seating. The atmosphere is comfortable, nothing fancy. I ordered a sandwich and a latte. The latte was great and the sandwich delicious. Great local find.
google avatar

Stella L.

Yelp
Max is a wonderful owner and a fine collector of books and antique. I am very impressed of the attention to details at this place. The coffee is strong and taste just right. The cold brew comes with coffee ice cubes so they don't dilute your coffee. The sausage rolls are delicious and they grill them for you. I am enchanted by the atmosphere, the adorable outfits the staff wear ( I ended up getting a t-shirt there myself), and the smell of books and coffee intermingled in the air. Robbie the dog is a competent CEO for the place and he greets the customers at the book section of the store most enthusiastically. Thanks for creating such a magical place in Kelowna!
google avatar

Laval H.

Yelp
such a cute place! my friends and i regularly come here as a stop to chat and grab something to eat. i love the food and service. and i love how cute the place is and there's a dog:) also the owner is so nice. all my friends recommend the london fog and lavender lemonade. my personal favorite treat is the rocky road square. overall the place is just wonderful and so cute.
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
I love the service and general vibe of this place, just fantastic, I wish I lived closer to downtown to get here more often.
google avatar

Latasha S.

Yelp
I truly adore this venue. It is so neat with all the noir comic style pictures, the antique books and furniture it's just up my alley. They have a great selection of hot and cold drinks, alternative milk and vegan snack options. Try the white chocolate mocha here...with almond milk, you cannot go wrong. The service is spot on and every time I have an off-site meeting this is the spot. In fact I am going again tomorrow morning. It's such a great place to hang out and chat. Just a sweet gem.
google avatar

Gareth P.

Yelp
Went there for breakfast. Coffee was really good; the food was okay. We had a breakfast sandwich. Good atmosphere inside the shop. A bit on the pricey side though.

Serena-Jane N.

Yelp
The coffee and breakfast sandwich were decent but few accommodating dietary options. Overwhelming decor with poorly organized menus and randomly distributed information. The permanent menu is hard to read with the small writing accompanied by book covers and it's far from the ordering counter. There are additional menus that are easily overlooked posted on the glass of the refrigerated food case and floating as individual sheets on tables in various colours and fonts. The kombucha advertised on a sandwich board outside cannot be found on any menu indoors - I even checked with the barista where that would be found and she gestured at seemingly unlabelled taps.
google avatar

Sydney Z.

Yelp
If you are a lover of unique shops with lovely people, then you must visit Pulp Fiction. The owner Max and his wife Gloria put all of their heart and soul into this place and you can feel it in everything. The coffee and tea beverages are well made with the best quality products, as is the food. And don't forget to say hi to Robbie while you're there. (The adjoining antique and book store's shop dog) He's the sweetest pup you'll ever meet.
google avatar

Sarah Elizabeth S.

Yelp
Atmosphere is lovely. But it's very cramped and quite pricey. We got two milkshakes for $15 so for that price i expected them to be amazing, but instead they tasted like drinking heavy cream. The strawberry milkshake tasted nothing like strawberries, and the chocolate strawberry just tasted like cheap chocolate syrup. It's fine to charge $7 per milkshake, but I expected them to be worth it. At least a strawberry frappacino tastes like strawberries and is actually cheaper! Quite disappointed :( if it wasn't for the lovely dog, the atmosphere, and the antiques I'd give it 1 star.
google avatar

Kristine B.

Yelp
I love this coffee shop, the environment is unique to others. My favorite drink is their chai latte!
google avatar

Jenn S.

Yelp
affordable and good! I love the decor and style. Good service as well! if your passing threw town I would recommend coming to check it out!
