Great coffee and cute, cozy ambiance surrounded by books. If you enjoy books and coffee, this is the perfect spot for you. The smell of the old books is nostalgic and the coffee is delicious and very smooth. Friendly service and tasty treats to go with your coffee. Great location downtown to take coffee for a walk to the lake also. A definite must stop in Kelowna.

Come for the vibes!! There’s so much to see here, you can see a lot of heart was put into the shop. The food and service are average. The two different sandwiches we got were underwhelming and didn’t have much in them, but they also didn’t cost an arm and a leg. My kombucha on tap was quite disappointing, it was super watered-down. The server was nice but made a lot of mistakes. Overall, would recommend stopping by but maybe just for a coffee and treat. We had a great time.

Just love the decor in here! I wished they had the music up a bit to actually hear but did not want to be a man Karen to ask...smiles. Service was just ok to be honest. Or this would have maybe received 5 stars. Sits at a 4.5 currently. Also please...why not offer one refill for free? Most places are unlimited after paying first full price. This would really entice me to head back sooner than later. (: Will be back though and to check out the awesome look and feel again in there and hope to hear some music!

Definitely a highlight of Kelowna, this spot is located in the heart of the city and has its own unique visitors and style. It offers a wide selection of drinks and pastries, with an interior filled with books, antique and treasures from around the world. However, the interior could use some refreshing.

I really like this cafe! It’s the uniqueness that really gives Kelowna character and I think makes the city a better place. They have rooms full of different books, movie posters, antiques, and lots of other things I’m sure I’m forgetting. I liked my drinks but I think for the atmosphere it’s absolutely worth the visit and support local. Do wish that they could open till later on the weekends but maybe I’m just used to big city cafe hours?

I stumbled upon Pulp Fiction while awaiting a flight back to Toronto. I came in for the coffee, but left with more than just caffeine in my cup. The owner Max made my experience beyond a basic service interaction. He approached me at the magnets.. helping me pick out 6 (I lack self restraint). He informed me that he uses his own inventory to get the magnets printed! I later ventured into the print section of the coffee shop, and HAD to buy a print. Finally, he took me to the Pulp section of the shop, I mentioned my Sister had a love of horror. He took the time to pick something out for her personally while I drank my coffee. I will never forget the kindness and knowledge of my new friend, and kindred spirit, Max Squared.

Wonderful and unique cafe. Love the atmosphere, the antiques, and the 50’s & 60’s themed memorabilia. The milkshakes were delicious, try the espresso! The owner is engaging and friendly. We’ll be back!

found this gem 4 years ago while driving through kelowna and immediately fell in love. fast forward 4 years, living in kelowna and still my favourite coffee shop, possibly one if the reasons I moved here in the first place. The most aesthetically pleasing little vintage book and antique shop with my favourite breakfast croissant of all time.
