Always a fun hike! Generally takes 30-60 minutes to summit, unless you take the longer trails on purpose. You can meander around a few ways for several hours and there is much more to the park that just Pulpit! Good for hiking, biking and dogs (always on leash for this one). The top has sweeping 360 views and if you’re brave, you can clamber up onto the big boulders and spires to get to the very top. Beware if you get vertigo easily. We did it one year for New Years and it was amazing to see the Adaman fireworks on Pike’s as well as all the neighborhood shows. It’s likely to be snowy, but that makes for good lighting at midnight. 10/10 would hike again. I like to take visitors to this one for a mildly challenging hike that’s worth the trip.

A small but interesting place to visit and hike in Colorado Springs. The trail is about less than 2 miles and it's quite easy. The view on the top is great. You can even see the Garden of Gods from there. The only problem is to find the parking lot and entrance. Google Map didn't give the right place. The parking lot is just right at the highway I-25 and the Nevada Avenue, and it's not paved but free. The official entrance is at the left of the parking lot and there are signs to follow. You shouldn't take the shortcut(see picture) but I think people do that. Overall it's a nice hiking place for kids.

Neatly situated park in Colorado Springs with amazing views off to the southwest from the summit. Lots of intersecting trails, some closed for restoration. Not too crowded on a Sunday morning.

Interesting rock formation! There are plenty of trails in the park that you can explore. You can climb all the way to the top too, but make sure to be very careful. At the top, the sound of vehicles on the road is very apparent, which is what makes this spot less than perfect. .

Great place for hiking and biking. Make sure you use the restroom ahead because there are no restrooms present. There are also multiple entrances so pay attention to which way you are on the trails. You can also see The garden of the gods from the top!

Free to enter which is wonderful, was confused about the entrance which was not very visible. The park includes hiking trails good for hiking and mountain biking. You have to do the hike for the top as it’s decent in length but not too difficult. At the top you will have a great view of the city, mountains and it’s just stunning!!! I recommend visiting!

We took the Summit Trail to the top. It was a more difficult trail but had beautiful views.

Amazing Hike with Stunning Views! Pulpit Rock Park in Colorado is a hidden gem for nature lovers and hikers! The trails are well-maintained, with options for all skill levels. Whether you're looking for a leisurely walk or a more challenging climb, there's something for everyone. The hike up to Pulpit Rock itself is a bit steep but absolutely worth it. Once you reach the top, the panoramic views of Colorado Springs and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking! It's the perfect spot for sunrise or sunset if you're looking to capture some beautiful photos. The park is not overly crowded, making it a peaceful escape, and the open space gives a real sense of adventure. It's also conveniently located in town, so it’s easy to access, but you still feel immersed in nature. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Pulpit Rock Park is a must-see for outdoor enthusiasts. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
