My kids absolutely loved their time here. Staff were great and super friendly and accomodating. Had everything we need. Be careful of the end of the flying fox.. came off with whiplash and a bruised thigh. Haha Highly recommend for anyone with kids as it's a great experience. A+++

Great stay, the cabin was very clean. The place does get cold at night however we were provided with wood to make a fire and warm the cabin.

Nice property, good location, excellent hayride. The cabins need upkeep. Cabins and kitchen equipment needs a good cleanup. There is no one in the office...office surroundings were full of cobwebs and broken stuff giving a feel of a neglected dump yard ...we had a clogged toilet and took forever to even reach a staff member on the phone ...topping up firewood again took a lot of time as we had to physically go around the farm to track down staff. Lost us a day in only getting this basic stuff done. The hosts were missing. Wish there was better management for this beautiful property.

Been coming here for 12 years now, never disappoints. Hayrides are awesome, animals are caring, cool and friendly. Very family friendly. The view from the valley cottages is awesome and breathtaking. Would recommend to anyone who likes outdoors, animals, tranquility and photography and the average Joe, to come here at least once. *few bugs, need to know how to start a fire* other than that you’re living the life. When Farmer Mark does his celebrity hayride… you are in for a treat.

I have been to many farmstays around Perth, but I must say that this is the best that I have been to amongst all. We had a great 4N stay there in Pumphill during the christmas week. In fact, I wanted to extend our stay by another night or two, but unfortunately couldnt as it was booked out. Kids are going to have a blast with their routine animal feeding activity every morning, the beautifully done Kids play area, the nice grassy backyard for them to play around. Unfortunately, we couldnt meet the owners during this visit, but definitely next time. We had actually left behind a couple of toys in the backyard upon the checkout. The staffs were so nice to hand them over to another family who was coming to Perth next week so that I could pick it from them. Amazing customer Service ! Special mention to Claudia. You da the best ! Overall, we were very happy with the stay and will come back in a different season; perhaps Spring, as i hear Pemberton is more beautiful in Spring. This is a must stay place for sure...

First time doing farm stay in Perth. Pump Hill was Recommended by local friends living in Perth. It was a long drive from Perth City with a stopover at Margaret River. Reached Pump Hill after 6.30pm which was already dark by then but the trusted GPS brought us safely to the place. Managed to settle down at the cottage for the night. Spectacular view the next morning. The 3 nights stay were very much enjoyed by my kid as he had exclusive feeding to all the animals at the farm, from cow to rabbits. Great experience for the young.

We recently had 3 nights here. It’s great that the kids get to interact with the animals, the farm setting is beautiful and the tractor rides each morning are a highlight. The kid’s playground and flying fox was also A+ That said, the cabins are in need of an update. I don’t think anything (including carpets) has been updated since the 1980s when they were built. After checking out of Pump Hill, we checked into a nearby similar mud-cottage business and stayed in for 2 nights. The accommodation was worlds apart - the other accommodation had hot water, was better maintained and just felt like it had been given some TLC, while still retaining its rustic charm. At Pump Hill we unfortunately had to shower (and try to wash dishes) in tepid water, which isn’t fun in the middle of a Pemberton winter. We didn’t shower the kids at all because it was so unpleasant. The farmhand came on the second afternoon at our request and changed the gas bottles, but this only resulted in a couple of degrees warmer water. Basically a lovely setting that just needs some $$$ spent on maintenance (and hot water!)

Yelp
Pump Hill Farm This is the second time we've stayed and will probably come back again. It is the ideal family accommodation in Pemberton, perfect for toddlers, small and big kids (adults and teenagers). The cottages are clean with the basic amenities, including a kitchen stocked with more than the standard cooking utensils so you can whip up muffins using the eggs you've collected from the chickens that morning. Every morning, rain, hail or shine, at 8:30am the farmer runs a tractor ride to get the kids to help feed the animals - donkeys, cows, sheep, goats, alpacas, ducks, geese, chickens and turkeys. Then the kids can collect the chicken and duck eggs for breakfast. There is a big playground with a trampoline, swings and cubby houses, making Pump Hill Farm a place you never need to leave. Pump Hill Farm is next to a number of mountain bike tracks for the sporty people, up the hill from the beautiful Pemberton pool set in the river and a five minute pop into town to get supplies drive. Everyone is expected to treat the animals with respect, which is not a big ask. It is the only thing I've seen that can make the farmer angry.
