Stopped by Pun Chun Restaurant in Bidor to try their famous herbal duck drumstick noodles, the soup had a nice herbal flavour that wasn’t too overpowering, and the duck leg was tender and full of flavour. The noodles were decent, though they didn’t particularly stand out.
We also tried their siew bao and yam pastry, both were just okay. Inside the shop, they sell a wide variety of local snacks and pastries, including their own Pun Chun–branded chicken biscuits and products from other well-known local brands. The nostalgic décor, with old photographs lining the walls, gives the place a charming old-school vibe. Great spot for a food stop and to pick up some edible souvenirs.
