Our tour of the farm was delightful and a favorite experience on island! The property is gorgeous. The owner, Kai, was very gracious when we had a family emergency and had to alter our reservation. Our guide, Emma, was so knowledgeable, friendly and was amazing with children! We loved touring the farm, the tasting, and simply watching Emma's amazing machete skills in opening all of the coconuts. We purchased some fresh coconut milk from the cafe (so delicious!) and a variety of really neat stuff from the gift shop. This is a must if you enjoy coconuts, and is also great for the entire family!

A tour of Punakea Palms was recommended by a coworker that had recently traveled to Maui. She said that the tour far exceeded her expectations and turned out to be her favorite excursion of the trip. I have to agree that this tour was one of the highlights of our trip as well. Our guide was friendly and informative. The views from the property were simply stunning, as was the property itself. We learned so much from listening to our guide but also from tasting the fruit and the water it holds inside throughout the various stages of the coconut lifecycle. We ordered a coffee and a tea from the little bar on the property before leaving and both were delicious. I have never had a tea like that before. They added coconut milk to mine making it almost like a Thai iced tea. So delightful. If you have a chance to visit this place, definitely do.

We had an amazing time on our tour! The tour was 1.5 hours long and was very informative and engaging the whole time. We loved seeing all the different things they’re growing there and the beautiful views of the ocean. At the end we got to see three different stages of coconut growth and our tour guide broke them open and we got to taste them which was really cool.

Google
What a great find this was on Maui! If you are looking for something different to do and like/love coconuts - or just a passing interest in them - then this is the place! Emma was our guide and she is passionate about all things coconut. We started with a leisurely walk to a view point to take in the magnificent view of the ocean, Lanai, Molokai and Kaho'olawe. Beautiful! Then we taken to a shady spot to sit and hear how coconuts are grown, how (most likely) they got to the Hawaiian Islands and some Polynesian history. Then we had fresh coconut milk from the coconuts grown there that Emma opened for us. After the coconut milk we had the fresh coconut flesh in various stages of ripeness. Very interesting and delicious. There is a "bar" you can get drinks from - including coconut milk and small gif shop on property. You are welcome to linger in the shade of the coconut palms as long as you like. Highly recommend and we will go again when back on Maui.

Google
This was probably our favorite activity of the whole week on Maui. Jeremy, our tour guide, was amazing! It was fascinating to learn about the entire growing process and life cycle of coconuts. The tour was interactive, and we had all of our questions answered. Oh, and getting to taste coconut water and the meat at various stages was so cool too. I can't say enough good things about our experience there. Book a tour now!

Google
Great set up here, you can tell they take a great amount of pride in what they do. We did not do the farm tour, but that is what they’re known for (last one happens at 11am). We ended up making this a stop as we were searching for fresh, local coconut water and they did not disappoint. Lots of fun merch and the staff is super-duper friendly. Lots of parking, it was very hot/windy when we visited and this was a perfect spot to seek some shelter.

Google
Definitely a very interesting tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable and happy to answer All your questions. We learned about coconuts (obviously), Maui and Hawaii as well. The tour has a very nice lookout place for taking pictures. We got to try three different stages of coconut water (and meat if applicable). Learned so much about picking coconuts and also how to make coconut milk. Anxious to try! Overall experience was very good. Highly recommend! And we went back the next day to get their coconut milk (fresh made daily) iced coffee. That was good stuff! Their coconut is $6 each, cheapest I ever saw. And these are very fresh, obviously. I got one that was exactly how old I wanted it to be (using knowledge I got from the tour). Amazing!

Google
What a wonderful farm! If you're looking for fresh coconuts and/or sugar cane juice, this is THE place to go! The service here is phenomenal! We didn't book a tour because we didn't know about it, but the juice stand is open to the public. Will definitely return for the tour!

Yelp
This is more of a Hawaiian coconut tasting & history lesson than a farm tour LOL. But still highly recommend, we had a great experience learning from the wonderfully knowledgeable Punakea Palms team and snacking along the way. Not much walking-- the most is from the entrance/cafe area to the field with an outlook, where you learn about how the Dole family rekt Lanai's natural environment to farm pineapples (kinda evil). Frankly, the history behind mass agriculture and farming is pretty bleak-- you can't help but feel a sense of injustice for the native Hawaiians. Our tour guide was thorough, objective, while empathetic. From thereafter, you're sitting under an overhang while listening to your tour guide explain the stages of coconut growth & trying the different pieces. We tried: - Coconut water - Coconut jelly - Coconut meat - Coconut shavings ... All from coconuts of varying ages, getting the chance to see how each tastes different from the other. Kai even popped by with a surprise: fresh palm hearts! My bf and I frequently use canned ones for salads-- the raw flavor blew our minds. The entire "tour" took around 1.5 hours. The cafe in front is charming, lovely drink & food offerings alongside a gift shop. You can tell that the staff here actually care about the history of Hawaii and respect the island.

Yelp
We had a great time at the coconut farm tour. We learned so much from our tour guide, Jeremy. He was so passionate about coconuts. It is really sad that Hawaii, which has an abundance of coconuts, gets coconuts flown in from Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines because the labor is cheaper there. Jeremy was the highlight of the tour teaching us so much about the benefits of coconuts. We tried young coconut water to more mature coconut water. We got to taste coconut meat and shavings of coconuts (it was a great moisturizer for the skin too) I'd highly recommend this tour and the cafe! Cute little place. Please go out and support this local gem!

Yelp
This tour is a must do in Maui! We got to drink and eat right out of some freshly opened coconuts, learned so much, and enjoyed the breathtakingly gorgeous grounds. There are unbelievable views from the ocean to the mountains, with Hawaiian gardens and a whole forest of palm trees! There is also a cafe at the front where you can have some coconut coffee and grab a banana right off the vine. Everything here is absolutely delicious. After the tour we spent some time exploring and taking photos because it's just too freaking beautiful! Punakea Palms offers SUCH a unique and memorable experience. Do it!

Yelp
Super cute place to stop for sugar cane drink, coconut drink and other drinks they offer. As it is a coconut farm, you can book a tour to understand more about coconut cultivation and consumption, while enjoying the experience of hand-made coconut products. We didn't book a tour as it was last minute when we found this place so we decided to still check it out. Service was friendly. Highly recommend the mango lassi drink for those who like mango as it is refreshing in the humid weather and the mango taste is strong. I enjoy the coconut drink. It definitely taste more fresh than the coconut drinks I usually get from Costco (still like the ones from Costco too). Coconut flesh is tastier and they will help you cut it if you want to try. At the end, we also got sugar cane drink to go. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Maui!

Yelp
A fun family outing! It's not so much a farm tour, hence why it's called coconut tasting tour. Our guide Parker was really knowledgeable and had excellent machete skills. The first part of the experience is walking around the property to see coconut trees and the various fruit trees like their apple banana, pomegranate, mango, lemon, papaya trees. We also got to learn a bit of the history of Lahaina. After that we got to try coconut water and coconut meat at different stages of their life. I didn't realize it took so long for a coconut to mature. Also the effort and skill that it takes to open a coconut is impressive. It really made me appreciate coconuts, even though I'm not a fan of coconut. I will say, that's the best coconut water I've ever tasted. The coconut water they sell at Costco is awful compared to an almost mature fresh coconut in the wild.

Yelp
Just went there with my two daughters after having searched the island high and low for a place to get them a coconut "drink". We pulled up and they were "closed" but Kai, Megan and Barry were kind enough to welcome us in the middle of their breakfast with their family and serve up my girls some drinks anyway. Thanks guys! Yelp
Incredible coconut tour experience in Maui! We found Punakea Palms while searching tours in Maui. So glad we found it because we had such a great time on the tour learning about coconuts. Jeremy was our guide and did such a great job teaching us about the coconut and its role on the island of Maui and beyond. Plus, we got to enjoy LOTS of fresh coconut and see some beautiful views. If you're looking for a fun thing to do for half a day, definitely give Punakea Palms a visit. P.S. - save room for their delicious coconut milk coffee! They have a great cafe up front that serves items made from the farm.

Yelp
We added the Punakea Palms Coconut Farm tour on our itinerary while talking to another tourist on another excursion. It sounded quite interesting and I was like hey why not? It was our 3rd time in Maui and we wanted to try a new and unique experience. Since it was last minute there was only 4pm spot available on the day that we can fit it in. And it turns out this time slot was perfect! More on that later.... We took this tour back on 12/23/2019 and being on Maui the weather was perfect. Our group of 10 had an educational tour about coconuts and coconut trees. Oh and did I mention I love coconut everything? We learned about the different stages at which you can harvest coconuts. Then you get some freshly chopped coconuts to eat and drink, it was so refreshing! We walked over to see the many fruit trees in the garden area, there's literally one of every fruit trees here! Then we walked over to actual coconut trees to learn about their age and different layers. Afterwards our guide took us to another area where they have on site weddings. He showed us where the ceremony, the band and the dancing area would be. And being that we took the 4pm tour, by this time it was the gorgeous sunset view!! This was simply the best view on the whole island. I would hands down have my wedding here if I wasn't already married! Then lastly they teach you how to make homemade coconut milk! Just from a little bit of coconut shredding, you can make a whole mason jar of coconut milk where we can take home! We had to fly out to Kauai the next day, so we drank some that night and finished it next morning during breakfast. This was truly a very unique and fun experience to have. We also got to take home our individual eco friendly bamboo straw in addition to the coconut milk. I thought these straws were great stocking stuffer so I bought a few more as souvenirs. I did noticed a group of family of four had to share their one mason jar of coconut milk though. It would probably be better if they have one jar per 2 person since I assumed we all paid $50/pp for the tour.

Yelp
stopped here to buy fresh coconuts and more. Lacy helped us and she was so kind, helpful, and excellent customer service. We instantly felt welcomed!! We enjoyed the fresh coconut water. We had iced coffee too and they sell bread and other treats. Check out the gift shop! It was very cute and one of my favorite farms to visit!
google avatar

Yelp
The farm tour was a lot of fun and totally worth it! Lots of tasty coconut! I recommend you pack some dark chocolate and maybe a flask of rum to further enhance the experience ;) the garden surrounding the grove was beautiful as well. They also have the cafe open if you want to stop in just for fresh coconuts, coffee, and more
google avatar

Amy A.

Yelp
Love this place so much. Informative and interesting tour, beautiful views, and you can tell they really care about what they do. The cafe and store are really cute! The iced coffee with homemade coconut milk is incredible.

Yelp
I had discovered this coconut farm tour when I came to Maui 3 years ago, but unfortunately it was all booked at the time, and I vowed to come back someday. For some reason, I really wanted to make my own coconut milk on a coconut farm in Maui. Fast forward 3 years, and I finally got my chance! The tour was more of an educational talk rather than an actual tour where you walk around. You hear interesting facts about where coconut products are produced in the world and how coconuts grow. We got to taste two stages of the coconut and drink the coconut water. Sadly, I didn't realize there was no more coconut milk making on this tour, so that was a big disappointment for me :(. Overall, I learned a lot about coconuts, but I do think $55 + tip is steep for sitting and listening to a talk for a little over an hour. A small momento or more interactive activity would've been great. But I respect what they stand for and I'm glad to be able to support a good cause.
google avatar

Erica E.

Yelp
I had so much fun on the coconut tour finding out all the hidden knowledge of coconuts. This small operation deserves mad love for all the passion they have about preserving the a culture that has been completely taken away from the island. Sad... but true. I will never be able to look at a coconut the same way again and I am thankful for that. I also enjoyed a coconut iced coffee once the tour was over and it was to die for! I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for something a little different on Maui. You get fun, history, culture and the beauty of nature all wrapped up in one neat package! Keep it up guys!

Yelp
Super unique experience with the amazing ocean view, sugar cane Juice and coconut iced coffee.

Yelp
SO FUN!!! This was my first time in Hawaii and I am so glad I did the coconut tasting tour here! We got to have so many coconuts that we were drowning in them! It was so interesting seeing and tasting the coconuts at all the different stages of maturity. Our guide Kai was so knowledgable about coconuts that my mind was blown with all the facts them. The property is so beautiful and I am definitely coming back anytime that I find myself in Maui; only next time I'm making sure to bring friends!
google avatar

Chantelle D.

Yelp
What a hidden gem of a place. Look, learn, and discover all about coconuts. Try young coconut water straight from the fruit off the tree. Super cool.
google avatar

Mike G.

Yelp
This place is a gem. Staff is really friendly and informative. Ordered the fruit lassi (delicious) and fresh coconut. There were beautiful views while we enjoyed our drinks.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
What a great experience. They opened a number of coconuts for us allowing us to taste the water and meat at various stages of the life cycle. The farm is family owned and they are extremely knowledgeable. We saw many other trees and fruits. We even got to participate in making coconut milk. The tour lasted 2 hours but felt like 10 minutes. The farm itself is beautiful and we were in the shade most of the time. There is a restroom available. Do bring bug spray though. They send you home with a full jar of the coconut milk that you make yourself. There is a very small gift shop on your way out. It was fun.

Elise H.

Yelp
Not too much of a walk. Fun activity to bring my 11 month old baby to. We all enjoyed trying the coconut meat, shreds, and water.
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
We decided to take the farm tour and it was great! I love that this farm is small and family owned/operated. You get so much value from the price you pay. I am not a fan of structured tours and the laid back vibe of Mike and the team was perfect. During the tour, you will eat/drink a lot three coconuts and make a TON of coconut milk. If you can, take this tour earlier in tour trip so you have time to finish all of the milk that you will make. The only downside is the fact that the property is a little messy, but for a good reason. They choose to leave debris and compostable material so the threes flourish. Because of this, my husband was covered in bug bites. They let us eat some of the ripe fruits from their trees as well! If you are interested in learning more about culture, coconuts, and supporting a small, local business, I highly recommend!

Madelyn G.

Yelp
So so beautiful and the café was so cute. Loved the vegan brownie and the service was great. She was so friendly. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Rod R.

Yelp
Kai tells about the life of the coconut tree and the coconut . He weaves the history, practical uses and the future of the coconut. kai's sincere, heartfelt approach to sharing his family farm with visitors is much appreciated. $55 gets you a tour, tasting coconuts at various stages in their life, learn to make coconut milk and a chance to stroll their lovely farm. This is a must do!
google avatar

Cannon S.

Yelp
By FAR this tour was the highlight of my family's Maui trip. We took our five-year-old daughter and I know this will live in her heart for a very long time. Mikey was so great with the kids and was still able to juggle all the questions thrown at him by the grownups. He was a warm host and after the first 10 minutes this tour felt more like an educational outing with friends. Who knew the coconut was such a universal fruit/nut/seed?! On part 3 of the tour after we made homemade coconut milk (yes, out of fresh coconuts and a little work that the kids did all by themselves) Mikey gave all three kids the shredded coconut from the straining sacks. The biggest smiles spread across their faces as they had a coconut snowball fight! Already looking forward to our next visit when the cafe is finished. Great parking, excellent service, and absolutely top-notch tour. Thanks for the memories, education and nutritious snacks.

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
Fantastic tour! Highly recommend taking a tour at Punakea Palms. Not only will you learn about the history and future of the coconut in Hawaii, but you will also become a coconut connoisseur through the many, many samples provided on this tour. Jeremy was an excellent tour guide and could not have been more open to answering all of our coconut questions! Tip: book early
google avatar

Adam P.

Yelp
I didn't really know what to expect when we signed up for this. We had a great time, Jeremy was awesome he was great with keeping my son and daughter engaged and answered all their questions. He is was knowledgeable about coconuts, but, also Hawaii. The coconut farm is beautiful and has a great view. The coconut milk ice coffee was delicious. I was super happy that I was able to support a local farm/business.

Ian B.

Yelp
Wow, what a tour! Parker was a great tour host and explained lots of detail about the farm, coconuts and palms. The views from the farm were incredible and we ate so much coconut and drank our fair share of coconut water as well. After the tour we enjoyed hanging out in the cafe and gift shop for a while. Put this place on your list!

Tash L.

Yelp
Came to the cafe and enjoyed some fresh beverages. Pretty location overlooking the coast and friendly staff.

Yelp
A high point in our spring break Maui trip this year. Beautiful views while tasting coconut water, young and mature coconut meat and making fresh coconut milk. Thanks @Kai for an amazing tour, education and history of the incredible coconut! #coconut #coconutfarm #local #hawaii #maui #mauicommunity #treeoflife

Emily F.

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp, added this impromptu stop to my Maui tripa d cannot be happier! Ordered fresh coconut water and they chopped one right off the tree! Can't get any fresher :) their sugar cane juice is also so fresh and delicious. Staff was super chill and easy going, not to mention the jaw dropping view
google avatar

Hillary C.

Yelp
Really enjoyed this tour. Learned a lot about coconut palm trees and got to try the water and meat of the coconut at different stages. I loved that the group size of the tour is limited to 10 people, making it more intimate and interactive. I went on another farm tour in Maui where the group size was 30 and didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the coconut tour. Favorite part was learning how to make coconut milk. Each family group got to take home a jar of coconut milk they made which we added to our morning coffee. Delicious! Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun educational experience in Maui.

Kyle B.

Yelp
An awesome visit, only took about 1.5 hours and was a nice, relaxed experience. On top of just tasting different stages of coconuts, Kai was able to take some of the really random (and stupid) questions asked from some of the groups and then turn it into a learning experience, for example a 20 min sidebar about the history of the sugar cane industry and the impacts on the coconut industry that came from someone asking about the similarities between his farm and the video game animal crossing.... Overall, it was great supporting a small agricultural business and learning from someone who exudes passion about something a lot of us just take for granted as something we only eat. Also, cool little coconut coffee stand (it was great) and gift shop right when you get there, worth checking out.
google avatar

Diana T.

Yelp
I love this tour! I enjoyed learning about the history behind coconuts and the information about them. We were able to try so many coconuts and take home a jar of coconut milk that you made yourself! I highly recommend this tour! Missing the coconut juice from their coconuts!
google avatar

Ariel M.

Yelp
This tour is amazing and inexpensive considering the amount of information and coconuts you get. The tour guide is knowledgable and funny. You start with a small educational tour about coconuts and coconut trees. I never knew how many usage coconuts have and the different stages at which you can harvest coconuts. Then you get some freshly chopped coconuts to eat and drink (I got quite full on this so pace yourself). Then lastly they teach you how to make homemade coconut milk and you get to take home some! Really fun and amazing. There's a small parking lot outside of the farm. Beware signal gets kind of bad up there so you might need to trace your route backwards when you leave. (Going there is no problem). I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Maui :) They are also expanding the farm to include a cafe, I'd definitely come back and check that out!
google avatar

Tanya S.

Yelp
This was An amazing activity My boyfriend planned this on our trip to Maui and I couldn't be any happier we tried all different kind of coconuts and learned to make our own hand made coconut milk which my boyfriend swears he'll make every week now. Thank you for such a great informative tour
google avatar

Bryce J.

Yelp
The Punakea Palms Coconut farm tour was a very unique experience and a highlight of our time on Maui. Ryan was very nice with booking where he was able to fit us in on a tour even though he was almost fully booked up. He was a wealth of knowledge on the coconut and coconut trees. My favorite part of the tour is when he gave us coconuts in various parts of their life cycle so we could taste the difference in their water and meat. He was also very understanding when a member of our group got a bit overwhelmed by the heat and had to go to their car to cool off. He opened up another coconut and ran it out to the parking lot so she could enjoy the tasting as well. Overall we walked away with a greater appreciation of coconuts and the knowledge on how to make our own coconut milk. Be aware it is an active farm so good walking shoes and some water to deal with the humidity are a must!
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
We had a great tour here with Stephanie. We picked an early tour which I highly recommend based on the cooler temperatures. It started out a little slow with a lot of discussion about the trees and grove, then the tour kept getting better with the demonstrations of various coconuts and eventually making coconut milk. It was a great 2+ hour experience and I'm thankful they keep the tour to 10 people.
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
This was such a fun outing! Who knew a coconut farm tour would be this engaging and fun. When you are tired of the beaches and want to do something else, put Punakea on top of your list. Kai is a super nice guy and I wish him and the farm the very best.
google avatar

Magaret C.

Yelp
This coconut tour was not even on our radar until my husband was looking for things to fill our last day in Maui before we headed to the airport. We got a quick response, and they were very accommodating. For a coconut lover like me, this was such a treat. I got to drink and eat two different stages of fresh and juicy coconuts, and the coconuts were absolutely amazing. Even though my kids don't love coconut as much as I do, they still found the tour interesting and educational. I grew up with coconuts, but I never knew that coconuts have such amazing stories. It was really fun to learn about the coconuts. And as a bonus, this farm is absolutely beautiful and has a gorgeous ocean view of Lanai Island. I highly recommend this tour.
google avatar

Vivian L.

Yelp
I would be lying if I said that I was interested in coming here when my boyfriend added this to our list of places we should try to visit if we had time. I really did not understand why he wanted to spend time on a coconut farm while we were on vacation. I was pleasantly surprised when we visited, and ended up having a really great time! This place was really beautiful and an awesome place to take pictures. It was also honestly interesting to hear more about coconuts, see them at different stages of their life cycle, and learn how to make coconut milk. Tip: Wear bug spray, and bring your own can so that you can shamelessly douse yourself in it while you are on the farm. It's not a matter of IF you will get bitten, it's a matter of how many times you will get bitten.

Bella I.

Yelp
This was such a cool experience!! This was an unexpected gem on our family trip to Maui. Kai was a master of all things coconut and his passion for the palm tree knows no bounds. You can instantly tell that he loves what he is doing. (And we are super jealous!) The farm was beautiful and he has a beautiful little cafe that is very inviting. It will soon be fully reopen after having to suffer through the closures of Covid but Kai never the less, put on a great tour and you can be sure on our next visit, we will be back to sample all the wonderful items he will have there - all making use of the coconut. He showed us so many things about the palms and the fruit and there was so much to be learned. We sampled many different aged coconuts and got to taste fresh coconut water and milk. It was such a great time, we just wanted him to keep on going. Don't miss this!!
google avatar

Janie F.

Yelp
We had 50 minutes of information regarding all aspects of coconuts....however we were a party of 5 and had to share ONE of the two coconuts he had us try.... also had the expectation of making and taking some coconut milk but we weren't offered this on our tour. He also said he would "normally" tell us about the 14 different kinds of coconuts. It was short and not worth the $ we paid....definitely seemed like he was in a hurry.

Kristin M.

Yelp
Had a great visit! I love coconut and this was just fun! Upon arrival I was served the BEST iced coffee I've ever had with real, fresh coconut milk. We got lots of info about coconut water, the aging and growth of a coconut and sampling fresh coconuts. I got everything I'll need to make my own coconut milk at home from the gift shop and am so excited for it! The owner is passionate and cares about his farm and kept the tour small and wore a mask.
google avatar

Jeanne B.

Yelp
My family and I took this educational tour as part of our Maui vacation. It was fun, easy walking, and delicious! We got to taste coconuts in all phases of maturity, learned the history of coconut palms in Hawaii, and made our own fresh coconut milk! We highly recommend this experience. The walk is very easy. The view is beyond belief! The people are lovely. Do go.
google avatar

Lily S.

Yelp
Kai did such a wonderful job on the tour. He took the time to answer all our questions, showed us how to use each part of the coconut and all the various stages. And taught us about the cultures surrounding coconuts. We had a marvelous time and it was one of the highlights of our trip!
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Everything you ever wanted to know about coconuts! And more! The 2 hour tour was informative and covered every life cycle of the coconut, and all its benefits. Tour included tasting coconut water, fresh from the coconut itself, as well as making our own coconut milk, which we get to take home at the end of the tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and used his machete like a boss to get those coconuts open. I highly recommend making reservations for this tour if you are in Maui.
google avatar

Gary D.

Yelp
Great couple of hours with the guys at Punakea Coconut Farm. Great educational experience about how the coconut tree is the seed of life in the tropics. Tastes of fresh coconut water out of young and older coconuts. Hand press sugar cane and drink it fresh with a touch of orange juice. Delicious. Blend coconut meat with water to make fresh coconut milk pressed through a fine coconut cloth bag. Take home a souvenir of fresh coconut milk. Really great way to start the morning. Be sure to say hi to T-Bone the houndy Hound!
google avatar

Sue L.

Yelp
Outstanding boutique small intimate tour. Kai is the most knowledgeable coconut teacher I've ever met. We learned so much. Loved the cafe and store too. This is a must see if you're planning a trip to Maui!

Yelp
Kai is the guy. How inspiring. We had an amazing tour and super informational. His love for coconuts felt genuine. What a beautiful family business. Would recommend to anyone visiting Maui.

Yelp
This review is overdue as we visited in September. What a great experience! Located in the hills just minutes above Lahaina downtown. Kai, the owner and our guide was very knowledgeable, passionate about coconuts and funny in his conversations with the tour attendees. He limits tour size to a max of 10 people to keep the experience personal. The location was beautiful and the coconut amazing. I have NEVER been a coconut fan and that almost swayed me not to book this tour. I am so glad I did. Apparently, I have never had fresh coconut water, milk or coconut meat. Tastes amazing and different from what I've tried from the grocery stores in the past. We got to make our own fresh coconut milk that we were able to take back to our condo with us which we promptly used to make homemade coconut lime pineapple pina coladas! Highly recommend this tour (and the pina coladas)! Since we've been back home, we have made fresh coconut milk twice and will keep up the new tradition!
