We went for Sunday lunch at about 1.15pm, and it wasn't too crowded. The usual Sunday cafe clientele - families, friends after a pilates session, couples on dates etc.
There is indoor and alfresco seating. We were originally sat at the 2nd table by the entrance, but two girlies catching up were a little too obnoxious with their volume; thankfully there were empty tables, and we moved across to the large share table next to the coffee machine.
We ordered the cheese toastie with a sausage add-on, as well as the french toast. Was somewhat disappointed with the cheese toastie serving... Apart from the fact that 3 'fancy' cheeses, and sliver of chive in the tomato soup used, it looked like something one could put together at home - half expected a little more flair with the presentation, and even choice of bread. Rather barren if not for the sausage we added on.
French toast was good, but the use of salted caramel and fruit compote was an odd pairing. One or the other perhaps?
Drinks - mint mocha and iced americano.
Their drinks were really through the roof, and why they'd get a 4/5 instead of 3/5 food rating.
Mint mocha was legit minty, not your typical that which tastes like toothpaste version.
Coffee was also good, not acidic and real smooth.
I'd come back if only to obliterate multiple cups of minty chocolatey goodness.
Service was great, there was a cute little old lady at the door who sat guests, and whom I think was the manager going around making sure everyone had what they needed.
