Punta Vida

Punta Vida perfectly captures the Puerto Escondido vibe. A raw, three-story concrete building right on the beach with an incredible sunset view, especially from the rooftop. Most days feature DJs with a diverse mix of music, from mainstream to various other genres, creating a relaxed but lively atmosphere. Cocktails are solid and fairly priced for PE. Sundays are a highlight: rooftop access comes with an entrance fee, but it’s worth it — great DJs, cocktails, grilled food, and a fun mix of internationals and locals. The event ends around 11 pm, leaving you perfectly set for either heading home or moving on to an afterparty. And if you’re very lucky, you might meet Francisco, the landowner — a true mezcal connoisseur — who may invite you to taste some exceptional mezcals you won’t find anywhere else.

Went for Sunday party. Arrived at 9am it was absolutely pumping. It shuts at 11pm. Had deal beer and shot for $100 but the shot was massive. Can pay cash or card. The dj was the worst, changed genres every few songs and transitions were pretty bad. Mix of typical crappy club music with some heavy house/dance music. But still worth going to. Security search you thoroughly on entry and ask for a tip

Fantastic place to watch the sun go down with some quality food in a great atmosphere. I'd say it's one of my top five sunsets!

Best bar in La Punta during my vacation. Great place to watch sunsets & watch the volleyball games. Sunday BBQ was very tasty & afterparty was wild. Great service & friendly staff

One of my absolute favorite places in La Punta! Located in an unfinished building it houses a venue that works as a club, bar, art gallery and restaurant with a terrace. And boy.... not only does it have the best sunset view in La Punta but the food is freaking awesome here. Great tacos and vegetarian options but the fresh fish is the go to here, would be so bold to say its the best fish i've ever had (And I had it 4 times in a month). The drinks are goody good and the people working there are really awesome. Want to come back asap! The roof opens at 17 so be early as it fills up pretty fast before the sun sets.

Really great vegan tacos!! The best view and dinner spot for sunset. Right above the beach volley courts so you get to watch the players. A bit noisy but only because it’s usually busy at sunset.

Great spot on the beach with great food and reasonably priced drinks! Good place to watch the sun go down, chill out, watch volleyball! Also we recommend the Bar-b-q on Sunday - great food and good party vibe!

Delicious food, killer drinks, and fun beachvibes! Went in for drinks at sunset with the most amazing ocean view at the new Rooftop restaurant! Tacos are just the beginning. Their main dishes are a flavor explosion, and the cocktails are strong, tasty, and spot on! It's not just a sunset hangout; we stayed till 11 PM, and the vibe was buzzing! Perfect for celebrations or a chill night with friends. Don't miss this spot for a fun night out with delicious food, killer drinks, and awesome vibes! You gotta eat the Carajillo ice-cream! !! and the churros !
