Good staff and mostly clean. The location is great and convenient. We paid $285 for the night plus an extra $50 for late checkout, but after checking in we were told maintenance would be coming early for the air-conditioning, which defeated the purpose. The beds were very hard, the room was quite noisy, and there was only one slow elevator. Overall okay for a short stay, but not very comfortable for the price.

OK, do you think you should book it yourself? If you are looking for one to three nights, then it will be good; any longer, do not bother!| I booked a three-person room for two people to have more room, and I liked the idea of a bed around the corner for more privacy, as I was sharing with my nephew. We booked for two weeks. Looking at the diagram, it showed one single wardrobe and one double wardrobe, plenty of space (so I thought), and all the hotel pictures looked good.|The facts|1 The room had one single wardrobe with 7 hangers no drawers, so we lived out of our cases for two weeks|2 I was shocked to find out that if you are staying for more than a week, then you only get housekeeping every 7 days. Our bins were overflowing, so they made an exception and agreed to collect them after 5 days and told us we could collect clean towels ourselves from reception |3 The staff are very friendly |4 The beds are clean and very comfortable, but the hotel is a bit tired |5 The pool is cold and very shabby|6 I was not impressed with the balcony furniture

The hotel feels quite tired, it is a bit gloomy and looks like it needs a good clean up. The apartment itself was well laid out but was not perfectly clean. As it’s an apartment hotel I thought the room would have a washing machine, however laundry facilities are shared and come at an additional cost. The pool area didn’t have a great ambience.||The cafe does great coffee and the food is quite good.

Good size apartment though the kitchen is a bit on the smaller side. Was not serviced daily though staff were happy to provide refills. Good location. You have to pay extra for parking, which really should be included. There is only one lift, which was the most frustrating part - takes a long wait to go up or down.

Check in was simple. I arrived after reception hours but received a text message with a code to a keybox outside which worked perfectly. No issues accessing the room. The room itself was a little dated but had all the standard facilities, and most importantly was clean and tidy. The only issues I had was the lighting itself in the room is dim (especially in the kitchen area). I had to use my phone torch to make a drink in the evening. It might just be my eyes though! Check out was simple and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is a short walk from Central Station and is close to a bunch of cafes and restaurants, as well as a 24/7 convenience store on the corner.

Not a good experience for us. Room not clean and things falling apart. Bed was comfortable. Pool unusable. Emergency exits blocked with linen trollys and also left in the lift.

Above and Beyond Service at Punthill Spring Hill!||Our stay at Punthill Spring Hill was nothing short of fantastic. The room — a beautiful one on the 5th floor — was clean, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. But what really blew us away was the level of care and service we received after we checked out.||Shortly after leaving, we realised we had possibly left behind a water bottle in the room. Unsure if it was still there, we sent a quick email — and the response was lightning fast. The staff located the bottle right away and let us know it was safe and ready to be collected.||It may seem like a small thing, but this level of attention and promptness is rare. The team treated the situation with such kindness and efficiency, proving they truly value their guests even after they leave.||From the convenient location to the warm hospitality and standout service, Punthill Spring Hill has absolutely earned our highest recommendation. It’s the kind of place that remembers the little things — and that makes a big difference.

I stayed here back in February when I was visiting from Cairns and found this hotel quite late at night. I absolutely loved my stay here, and even booked extra nights to stay longer. I would happily stay here again next time I’m in Brisbane. Shout out to the receptionist who was lovely.

Yelp
Would have to be cheap for my business because it's a tad aged and noted was the comfortable bedding but lacking privacy as curtains are see through Wi-Fi is free

Yelp
Punthill feels a little like a grown-up hostel, offering spacious serviced apartments that are nicely furnished and decorated in a fun but comfortable and slightly luxurious finish. They also offer 3-person accommodation, which is unusual and fantastic for myself, my mum and my sister (particularly for me, as I'm usually delegated to the sofa bed in this scenario!). The bathroom is also great, with a nice big shower, and our balcony was another bonus. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, dishwasher, hob (stove) and the other basics you might expect (although no oven) - perfect for some light cooking, and I suspect this would make a great corporate apartment. The apartment is generally clean although a little dusty in some corners. Wifi costs extra and our 24hr pass ran out after approx. 18hrs, and the "servicing" is fairly basic (e.g. beds were made but towels not properly hung). Overall, the Punthill is a great option if you're looking for extremely comfortable and relaxed accommodation where you can be self-sufficient. I would definitely look at staying here again if I'm back in Brisbane.

Yelp
Punthill Apartments have been wonderful for the four days we have stayed here. The room was luxurious and comfortable, and staff has been helpful, kind, and personable. The rooms are well-furnished studio apartments with comfortable king beds. (So long as you aren't trying *really* hard to find a flaw in them, as a prior reviewer seemingly succeeded in doing) The room was complete with everything needed to prepare meals--and has a spacious patio in the back with BBQ, pool, and a fairly decent weight machine. The location of the Punthill is very near the Brisbane business district. It is a 4 minute walk from Central Station, where all light rail lines through the city may be reached. There is also a nice cafe in the ground floor of the hotel, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Check-in closes at 8:00, but they have an after-hours lockbox for late arrivals. WiFi is $10 a day, but if you sign up on the login screen, it will be free whenever you re-book or stay in a sister hotel.

Yelp
Slightly aged and tired from the outside but a nice surprise on the inside. The location is great, up high on Astor Terrace with views and a short stroll to the shops and the river. The staff were welcoming and friendly but we didn't have any issues with the hotel (other than another party burning their toast and causing a short early morning evacuation). The lift is small (not uncommon) but my room was excellent. Clearly refurbished not too long ago, well laid out, clean, spacious and tasteful, I did not have a single complaint...other than the toilet door that opens to rest against your knee. I was on the 2nd floor and had a large well vegetated balcony that, with the sliding doors fully opened, made the apartment feel huge and a pleasure to stay in. The kitchenette was small and cramped but came with a small table, a dishwasher, a full sized fridge and was big enough for some prep and cooking. There's a laundry with plenty of machines on the ground floor and an outdoor gymnasium and pool on the second floor. Rooms are serviced daily and staff are approachable and friendly. WiFi is unfortunately extra. I can see myself returning.

Yelp
I wouldn't ever stay here again or recommend it to anyone. The room was nice except for the king bed advertised - which was a king split (ie, two singles zipped together with a hard solid middle). On telling reception about this, we were told that all the beds are that way. We pointed out that this is false advertising under the Australian Consumer Law & were told by receptionist Paul (spot him by his bald head!) that "I've been in this game a long time & you're wrong." I then pointed out that, as a lawyer I know the law, and he was incorrect & needed to update his ads. He said we were wrong, and with a smile, loudly said we were falsely accusing him & dismissed us. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do not stay here.
