Solid temple to visit! The most popular temple for locals to pray. We had a local friend who told us about the history and culture.

Amazing experience , went with my Balinese family .. I think this is something not everyone can aprecciate … you really need to understand what they’re doing and for what reason , to respect and go there humble . Thanks so much to all for aloud me be part of this amazing village !

I pay to rent the sarong to cover my legs 35K including parking, when I get inside I gently man told me I am not welcome. So I couldn’t enjoy this special temple. Not for tourists.

There are Four Temple in Pura Ped Area : Pura Segara, Pura Taman, Pura Ratu Gede and Pura Penataran Agung. You Must wearing Balinese Clothes to enter this temple, because its very Sacred and we Have to respect the Traditions and The Elder. This temple is beachfront, and head west i think, so you could watch the beautiful sunset.

A must temple to visit and pray if you come to Nusa Penida, try to rent a negotiable car with driver or a motorbike if you like to explore alone

Artistic temple located besides the sea. Very accessible and the view are gorgeous.

For all foreigners coming❤️ It’s not an attraction, please be respectful to the traditions of local people. You can rent a sarong in front of the temple. We were charged 50K for person. Make sure you have checked the rules before going. For the ceremony you will need flower tray, incense and money. We were lucky to receive it from the local couple who saw us and kindly shared them. Woman can’t attend during periods, cover your shoulders and back. Be mindful of unintentionally blocking entrances to prayer spaces, being loud in quiet places where others may be trying to pray, and respect signs designating areas for praying only.
