Every dinner was a masterpiece — beautifully arranged, full of authentic local flavors, and perfectly balanced in taste and presentation. From the fresh ingredients to the creative desserts, every dish reflected incredible care and passion. The meals felt both elegant and comforting, bringing out the best of Costa Rica’s natural produce and regional specialties. The attention to detail, the warm service, and the artistic presentation made every evening feel special. I’m genuinely grateful for the effort and love that went into every dish — it was a highlight of my entire trip. Pura Provisions elevated our experience in Los Suenos to one of the most memorable trips we have taken. Joshua, Yanahan, and Celine prepared and served several dinners as well as to-go food trays during our stay. All were very creative and delicious. The three were very professional and definitely top notch. Joshua was always very responsive and communicative while planning and very open to modifications or trying something new for us. The food was outstanding and the price was very fair. Having them prepare, serve, and clean up in the villa was such a great experience!! The food was very imaginative and presented so nicely as well as delicious. Imagine our surprise when Joshua revealed a tray of fresh grown herbs to garnish the meals with! Our only regret was not using Pura Provisions for every single meal we had! We are excited to return and use their service again.

Another fantastic meal from Chef Joshua and his team at Pura Provisions! The service, attention to detail, and most importantly, the food was out of this world. This meal was the icing on top of a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. Can’t wait to come back!!

Chef Joshua was recommended to us by some friends of ours. We had a getaway and had him start our day off with breakfast. Josh and his assistant cleaned up the mess from the previous day, and then once again after they were done. I am from Texas so I like my beef, he was happy to work in some steak that I had prepped into our breakfast. Over great experience, thank you chef we will see you on the next one.

Chef Joshua and Victoria are amazing. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking a private chef while visiting Los Sueños Costa Rica.

The experience provided by Joshua and the Provisions team was exceptional. Their unique approach and dedication set them apart. I can't praise your team in Provisions enough! Nowhere else in the world have I encountered such phenomenal treatment as I did with your team. We set up a family catered dinner at our rental house in Los Sueños. The set up was simple enough and my intention was to surprise my family with a private chef to cook our fish from a charter. The organizer Maria was very pleasant to deal with but did not invoice me before the dinner. She quoted the chef services at $130 "plus the cost of ingredients" for our family of 6. This seemed very reasonable. The dinner went very well and we were very pleased with the service. So then what a disappointment that AFTER dinner I get an invoice that had the "cost of ingredients" for 6 of us (including two children) as more than DOUBLE the cost of the chef (!!). This is after I provided both the fish and the wine. So this is a great option for private catering-- but insist on the invoice up front to avoid any surprises. My mistake to not insist on the invoice up front.
