I was excited to try this place. It is a large restaurant with plenty of seats inside as well as outside. They have menus in Spanish and in English. I ordered the half/half combo which was half vegan sandwich on ciabatta bread and half a salad. I also ordered the soursop drink. The bread was old and very hard, so I did not eat it, the mushrooms on the sandwich were very bitter and I had to ask two times for my drink. The food was below my expectations & disappointing.  But the drink was massive and delicious. CC accepted.

Stopped here almost every day of our one week trip to hydrate with the most fresh juices! Caught both lunch and breakfast and it was amazing. They’ve got all your breakfast favorites. Service was great! Amazing atmosphere. Clean bathrooms! So affordable compared to the states!

Very cool breakfast place. They only need 2 more servers it’s too busy.

I came to Puravida years ago and had a great experience with the fruit salads and smoothies. My most recent visit with the Eggs Benedict was not very enjoyable and left me with a feeling of nausea. I would not recommend this particular plate and the price wasn't great either. I think the menu has to many items and that the menu needs LESS options. Quality over quantity. I liked the eco friendly straws for my drink. Service by Katya was nice.

Had enchilada, spices and sauce were so good. Juices all amazing. Don't expect to be able to order a beer or tequila, this is healthy food.

Wow this place is just lovely for any dietary preference! My husband and I are vegan and this restaurant is very accommodating. I have visited both locations numerous times and they have been able to accommodate each modification we have asked for. The guacamole is some of the best we have ever had in Mexico and we have been here a year. You just have to be specific and ask for No cheese and No cream on each thing that you order. "Sin lactose" is an easy phrase that makes all the vegetarian dishes vegan. I can highly recommend the veggie burrito. We have also ordered a veggie stir fry and substituted the meat option for tofu. The super cereal is also just fantastic! I would highly recommend this place.

Nine months ago: Great food. Fair prices. Good service. One of the few places in Mazatlan to get a healthy salad, and it won't cost a fortune. I returned today and what a difference! The waitstaff was almost non-existent, we waited an hour for our orders, one of which was delivered barely warm. The portobella mushrooms were burnt to a crisp. No one was interested in addressing our concerns. This was once one of my favorite little eateries; however, I will not be patronizing the establishment again!

It is a nice place but The wait time is horrible as far as the food it was never delivered to me and I was still billed for it- The could not make it right. My in laws loved their sushiomellete! They just were disappointed with the service as well. DO NOT COME HERE to eat but do come for a healthy Juice- Prices are great Ambiance is nice It's a place for the locals not for tourist if you are willing to wait for a while or come with time it should be fine- My Bill for 6 people was $72 not bad unfortunately I did not get to eat. Yelp removed my review from last year (or the year before), so this one will be brief: there are many options on their menu, making it take a while to decide what to order. For a first visit, unless there is something that you especially like (or do not) consider trying their Puravida smoothie - to go. Prices are on the higher side.

It's a good healthy food restaurant. They have a couple vegetarian vegan options. I like the soy or garbanzo burger here but they only serve it after 1pm. It's a big patty and comes with a big bun topped with lots of seeds not just sesame seeds. Also sweet potato fries all for less than $7. The dumb thing is their lunch starts at 1pm and won't make any exceptions to prepare the lunch items even if they have all the ingredients and it's the same cooks in the kitchen. Everywhere else around the world lunch starts between 10:30-11am for restaurants. They need to change that policy. I left one day and didn't come back cause at 12:40 they still didn't want to prepare the lunch stuff. I was going to come back but decided to go to ruta vegana downtown instead and was glad it did. It was all Vegan dishes and was cheaper and tastier. I'm not a fan of their breakfast menu. It's all eggs and omelettes and I'm vegetarian/vegan so it wasn't so pura vida on that day. They have a lot of smoothies and sandwiches, salads, and pizza too. Their Wifi is super fast here too. I always see some people doing work on their laptops. It's pura vida like Costa Rica. I always come to eat here when I'm in Mazatlan. But will make sure to only come in the afternoons. Worth coming by to eat when you're in town

Really good place for breakfast but if you don't want to wait get there early. They have menus in English and everything it top notch. It's worth a visit if you want an good mix of healthy and delicious

I was a Mazatlán for a week of vacation and let me tell you I went here every day for my seven days there and never got tired of it everything was delicious from the smoothies to the avocado toast with scramble eggs and Machaca.... I can't wait to come back

This is a great find in the golden zone. They use fresh organic vegetables, eggs and meats and offer gluten free options. They also have an entire menu of healthy smoothies, green shots and more. They have a wide variety type breakfast items, sandwiches and salads. For breakfast we chose the Mexican Benedict which consisted of perfect poached eggs served on ham, fresh perfectly crisp bacon on a blue corn tortilla with a special median sauce that perfectly complimented the dish. It was served with a nut bread on the side. The green omelet featured spinach and a variety of vegetables and your choice of panela or mozzarella cheese. A favorite was the whole grain waffle made with a hint of cinnamon and tipped with walnuts, a sliced almonds, fresh green apple, pear, your choice of fresh whipped cream or ice cream ..yes I said ice cream. They offer standard maple syrup or honey. I also had the kale, mint, ginger, garlic shot which was fresh and delicious.

If you are looking for healthy and delicious food options, then this is your place, and at a great price. If you are in a hurry, then go somewhere else. The food quality was well worth the wait time for me.

We are so happy that this restaurant was recommended to us. I am gluten free and dairy free and it was easy to order with my dietary restrictions. My husband and I both ordered the veggie plate with chicken. It was so delicious, we will definitely return. One of the healthier meals we have had here in Mazatlan.

I found this place on Yelp. I cannot rate the food because the service was so bad that I walked out. Employees need customer service training. I ordered a plate with scrambled eggs. I told the waitress 3 times and she even repeated the order. After waiting a long time for my food, the eggs were not scrambled. I politely told one of the employees to please make it correctly. The guy in the kitchen comes out upset because we returned the plate. He comes and fights with my entire family calling us liars. Another employee steps in and instead of just correcting the dish he tells me how the waitress is one of the best ones and there is no way she could have gotten it wrong. Takes 5 minutes to correct the dish instead of fighting with the customer. We are there to eat and paying for a service not to hear excuses. Never going there again.

Love it. Love the fresh juices and smoothies they offer. Good variety. Had the eggs Benedict marinero style with shrimp. It was amazing. Love the slaw it comes with that has beats and carrots. Fast service for a Sunday morning.

I went there and was served tortilla soup that didn't have any of the ingredients in it that they claimed on the menu, and was just tomato juice and tortilla strips, and a quesadilla that was not cooked, and fell apart when I picked it up. Neither was edible. When I sent it back, the owner came out to yell at me and tell me that I was the first one to complain at the restaurant in 20 years, and that I didn't know what I was talking about. He yelled, and yelled, and yelled. He accused me of being a trouble maker. And never offered to change the food. So I just asked to pay for the drinks I had drank. He yelled at me that I was going to have to pay for everything, even the food I didn't eat. And I said "I shouldn't have to, it was not cooked, and I didn't eat it". He then threatened me, and called the police on me. He actually called the police on me. Then he threatened me in front of them, so they let me go. It was all very surreal, and traumatic. It was like a nightmare. But I am sure you want to hear the full story and all the details, so you know what actually happened. They didn't give me enough space to write it here. I sought this place out before even arriving to mazatlan. I have already returned twice throughout my stay. A million smoothie and juice options. Everything is made in house. Gluten free bread and organic egg options! I love vacation but my body suffers everytime, places like this help to keep a healthier diet while still enjoying the scenery. The music is American chill wave, a pleasant break away from blasting mariachis. We left with extra food everytime. If you go with somebody share a meal and each get a smoothie.

Likely the best health food option in the beach tourist area. Fresh juices, smoothies, fruit & veggie choices, and plenty of vegetarian options. The restaurant is staffed well, many of the employees do speak English and the menu is in both Spanish & English. I have eaten here in past and it is consistently good quality, clean, and a very pleasant experience.

This was great discovery! Food is spectacular here. Every single plate that came out from the kitchen looked great! For sure not my first and last time to visit them.

We got there 2 minutes before they opened and they let us in early. The food was so delicious. I highly recommend the papaya, coconut, banana, vanilla smoothie

Ive been here many times, we stayed at the condos next door . Its got A/C and wifi so prices are a little more than elsewhere. They specializes in juices , fresh squeezed but charges over twice a much as the small stands, They have burgers and sandwiches and their good. Ive had them on other occasions but this morning I went for eggs benny. I wasn't really expecting chef made hollandaise so when it arrived and wasn't I wasn't disappointed. . The rest of the plate looked amazing with fresh fruit and salad and a whole bowl of ripping hot pickles. It looked to have some potential but unfortunately the eggs were cooked hard , the sauce tasted like package sauce and the worst part was the bacon was the saltiest thing I have ever eaten and I eat anchovies! Man it was bad, I have never discarded bacon. I feel ashamed. The coffee is alright not good, If you need wifi and a/c then go to ricos the coffee and food are better and they have both. If you don't need wifi or a/c find a cheaper breakfast place . Theres lots in the area but if your stuck its ok.

Women's lunch I had chicken teriyaki wrap. Super good. Resturant very clean. Lots of seating friendly staff.

Pura Vida is the bomb! Cant wait to go back. The enchiladas and the burrito are the best.

First, let's start with the positive. The concept of healthy juices and smoothies is a great one. This place does not disappoint. Their food is delicious. My problem is with their service. I do not want to stand around waiting for a hostess to acknowledge my presence, when we were finally acknowledged, we were told there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated. Mind you, there were about 6 empty tables. I'm not sure why you wouldn't just seat the customer and then they can wait for a server to come over if it's very busy. I much rather wait for a server sitting down than standing! Everyone seems to be walking around hastily but without any direction. This place could do so much better if they would just up their service.

Lacks cleanliness, inconsistent and poorly managed. Our family has been to Puruvida multiple times. At times the service has been good and at other times the service is slow and non-attentive. And if Puravida gets busy, forget it, plan on waiting a while for your order. The main reason I will not be returning to puruvida is because of an awful experience. I ordered a smoothie with my breakfast. Upon the server bringing me my smoothie I found a 8-inch black hair in my drink. Luckily i stirred the smoothie with my straw first. The long hair is wrapped around my straw, I call the server over to show her the hair, she nods and walks away - yes, I do speak Spanish. So, I show the hair to another server, he makes a face of disgust and I ask him to get the manager. No one ever returned to address the situation. Therefore, my family and I left. Before leaving, as I was looking around for a manager, there was not one, just a bunch of teenagers and 20somethings working as servers.

Came here late on a weekday evening. Service was fine, they put up with our lousy Spanish. Food was PERFECT. Highly recommend the soy chorizo; finding a vegetarian friendly space is a comforting treat when travelling. Highly recommended and portions are very generous.

I had the best chilaquiles (oaxaqueños) they were the most bomb delicious chilaquiles and will love to try the rest or their food next time im around Mazatlan. Nobody recomended to come here so im glad I found it. My kid and wife fell in love with it

We went here 3 times during our trip! Both my dad and I are vegetarians and really enjoyed all of our food and smoothies. Everything tastes fresh, and most of the servers were kind and patient with me as an english speaker. The ac and wifi were also really nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Incredible selection of juices, smoothies, fruit shakes, shots, and all kinds of great health conscious food. Kids loved the mini pizzas and I loved the veggie burger and wraps. Tons to try out and it seems all good.
