I stayed at Pure Magic for two nights. The hotel is easy to find. There is an unsecured car park across the road but given the location I think everything was safe. My room was small, no TV and a tiny bathroom but it was lovely. The room was bright and airy, it was spotlessly clean. The only thing the room lacked was storage space. The only place to store anything was on two deep shelves, so I would say, anyone staying for a longer period might find this inconvenient. I was happy to live out of my suitcase for two days. As I said, the bathroom was tiny (a converted cupboard?) but it was easily sufficient for my needs, again spotless, towels and toiletries supplied and an excellent shower. |Breakfasts were very nice, cereals, orange or apple juice, eggs with bacon and mushrooms or French toast with bacon. Tea and coffee. There is a restaurant used by local people which I didn't use but another resident told me it was good. The hotel bar closes when the restaurant's last customer has left, so late night drinkers might have a problem. At that point all the staff seem to go home so access is via a coded door lock. The staff in the hotel are really lovely and very helpful. In particular Robyn and Sarah looked after me very well.
