As a long time vegan I had wanted to try this place for a while, however the first time I went to order a smoothie to go, we waited for more than 10 minutes with one person ahead of use in the queue at the register. The girl behind the register made no gesture that she would be a minute, I felt completely ignored and we ended up walking out. Bye bye money. We decided to try again, and had breakfast after a very long walk. I ordered the tofu scramble with sourdough and a long black. Pretty sure I was overcharged for the toast even though the menu clearly stated it came with toast. My partner had a bacon and egg roll with a coffee. He felt that for the price the roll could have had a bit more to it. However the meals and coffee were good. I am very big on customer service and if I am going to spend my money I would prefer to do so somewhere that you feel welcomed. There was a girl standing behind the coffee machine basically smirking at customers and gave off the worst energy, it was extremely off putting. The guy making the coffee however was lovely. I think it sucks because this is a place I would like to have tried more food, but given the two times where I felt not even seen and then that particular staff member acting that way, I won’t be back. There are many other places with great food and great service.

Best cafe in Northern beaches! I’ve been going to Pure Wholefoods for at least two years and haven’t been disappointed once. Whatever you feel like - from bacon & egg roll to yummy, hearty Nasi Goreng - you can be sure it’s gonna be healthy and tasty at the same time, which is quite a rare thing! Pure Wholefoods is true to its name - the food is always clean, never greasy and consistently yummy. What’s also very important is that they make beautiful coffee. Not too milky, not bitter, just perfect. Add to all of the above lovely friendly people, working there, and you’ll get an amazing cafe to have your breakfast or lunch in. I can’t recommend this cool place enough! Ps they’ve got the best desert as well - a chocolate cake; Love Cake. ❤️

Friendly staff, fresh and delicious food. Tried the Rainbow Lasagne with pesto and was very delicious. Also tried the Rainbow Salad with peanut dressing and Broccoli Salad with pesto dressing, both were fresh and delicious. Definitely looking forward to go back again and try more things.

I had a pure raw salad with the quinoa chicken schnitzel and my husband had a chicken schnitzel meal. Both meals were fresh with interesting and delicious salads! As a cafe, its really a great health conscious option and the portions are really generous. Even though our order was bungled up, the manager made a good save in expediting the additional kiddies meal we ordered! This is our second time eating at this place and the standard of food is same as before, exceptional!

I had a falafel burger for lunch. Very fast service. The falafel and roasted veggies (everything inside actually) was great, well cooked and tasty. But, unfortunately the bread was too toasted, hard and it seemed old. A shame, as it’s something important when eating a burger. I was in a rush, so I didn’t ask maybe to change the bread, because the staff were really friendly so I can imagine they would accept my request. I would definitely come back to give the place another chance because the menu looks interesting and I love the proposal of healthy food. I am only trying to be constructive and hope it helps :) cheers

We are regulars at Pure and can’t get enough of their incredibly tasty and so health food! Recently, we also used their catering for an investor meeting at TinkerTank and everyone was impressed! So great to have healthy and great tasting food here in Manly!

Google
Fantastic place for paleo! Only downside is the prices, which are just over the top. But anyway, the food and paleo cakes are delicious and I’ll probably return every time I’m in Manly. We got our food fast and staff were friendly. They also have a fridge with small Zebra ice creams (paleo).

The coffee was nice and the food was quite good. I ordered the vegan scrambled tofu but they gave me a packet of butter with it. Thankfully it wasn’t spread on my toast and was just an option but to order a vegan meal only to receive death and suffering as an option on the side was not nice.

Yelp
The menu here is large and the food was fresh and yummy. I had the açaí bowl and it was delicious! The atmosphere was hip and they had fun outdoor sitting area - perfect for enjoying a healthy breakfast in nice weather!

Yelp
Great place to go that will appeal to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-lovers alike! Extensive breakfast and lunch menu, along with a counter with salads and goodies that you can make a plate out of. They also offer a wide range of juices and smoothies to choose from that are mostly vegan or can be made without dairy! I had the falafel wrap ($14) which was amazingly filling and very fresh. Loved the tahini dressing it came with. Also was craving a juice so got the Rejuvenate juice ($7) and really enjoyed that as well. Only downside was that the service was a little bit slow for someone like me who was there on my brief lunch break, but probably is a bit faster if you get your food to takeaway and find a nice spot on the beach! Regardless, definitely will be visiting again, their vegan nachos and their smoothies sounded amazing!

Yelp
If you value health, taste and freshness PURE is the place to dine in Manly. I had the Tamari Chicken with a selection of two salads and it was exceptional. Not for those on a budget or short of time, but why rush a good thing? Great place for coffee and a heathy treat too. Although I have already decided, next time I'm coming back for COCO-Whip.

Yelp
Taken at face value, these guys fill a gap in the market for people eating RAW, sugar free or who are vegan, vegetarian or want to eat organic. Each menu item is labelled with dietary requirements making it super easy to make your choices without guessing. The servings are substantial and delicious, the vegetables are crisp, fresh and cooked with love. Everything about this place is earthy and organic which means it comes with the usual 'hipster tax'. There's a small market style store at the back if you get swept away and feel inspired to start making your own hipster food - make sure you have a spare child to sell or you are prepared to remortgage your house if you want to purchase anything. On the downside, the staff meet the minimum requirement. Getting menus, water and ordering is self-serve but the staff will dump/throw your order in front of you at your table. Each time we've eaten here and our order is thrown in front of us, parts of it will fall on to the table - this is now a running joke. Today when we ate here, I thought I was going to be bitten by the cook when our order came through to the kitchen dead on kitchen closing time. If these guys could get their act together on the service front, they'd no doubt be our favourite lunch spot and earn 5 star reviews.

Yelp
Pure Wholefoods in Manly claims to meticulously select their predominantly vegetarian menu which cannot be doubted for a moment. Walter and his wife Dini are an affectionate favourite among the locals and on occasions can be perceived as moody however I witness them both address each patron by first name and feel a little envious but for only a moment as Walter brings my perfectly made fair trade skim mocha my breakfast special of Eggs Florentine with Soy Pesto cream sauce and steamed English spinach. The kitchen is open from 7:30am- 3:30pm and the shop is open until 5:30pm. You can call ahead to have food prepared to pick up. Portions can vary in size however the food itself is unparalleled in quality and because of this - prices are premium also. Today talk in this vegetarian cafe is thick of the pending rugby league grand final and what the weather for the local Manly Jazz carnival will do. The founder of the jazz carnival was my music teacher in primary school Mr John Speight and along with the locals I will hope that its good weather for one of the only music festivals of its kind in Australia.

Yelp
I really wish the service matched the menu on offer here. Every single time I have been here, the staff could not have been more unhelpful, surly and SLOW! It's unfortunate, because they churn out some really lovely food - fresh salads to take away and freshly baked muffins that change daily. I haven't had them, but apparently they do eggs for breaky really well here. The staff are inattentive, disinterested and extremely slow. It is like you are hassling them just to order a take away coffee or to pick up a muffin or salad. It wouldn't hurt if some of them smiled in a while. I'm only going back for the produce on offer and hope the memory of what I've eaten outweighs the bad mood they put me in every time they serve me.

Yelp
This place is amazing. It has everything for vegans, vegetarians, meat lovers, you name it! They are happy to customize any meal for your allergy. As two hungry vegans, we got the Big Breakfast and Yogi bowl. We were loving the outdoor seating that we stayed longer and ordered the passion fruit cheesecake (vegan, gluten free, soy free, sugar free!), coconut whip (also vegan, gluten free, soy free and sugar free) and matcha latte. We were so happy after a long morning in the beach and sun to come here and feel so relaxed and nourished. The vibe is perfect, and dogs are allowed outside! If you're on Manly, head here.

Yelp
An awesome blend of organic café and organic super market!! Though to look at it, you'd only think it was a café. As you go in, the place has jampacked the little space it has available with tables and chairs and stools, which are in turn usually jam packed with people - it's a popular little place. At the counter there are organic salads and sushi and cake and muffins and other deserts, and you can also order something off the menu. As you travel down the back, the place has tried to cram as much as a supermarket into a small bedroom-sized room as possible. Fruit and vege, oils and conserves, chips and snacks. Then in the freezer theres icecreams and courts, frozen meats and berries, the list goes on. It's a great place if you're an organic food person, so I'd make a beeline for this place, and its atmosphere. I think you'll enjoy the possibilities. Oh, and theres a health pop too. A lolypop but healthy. Love it.

Yelp
Pure Whole Foods' organic philosophy fits right in in the trendy Manly area. Overall the food is fresh, healthy and a tad expensive. There's a good range of fresh muffins, salads, lentil burgers etc in the display, and daily menu specials to order for breakfast and lunch. I enjoy the breakfast menu and love the acai bowl that has fresh muesli and banana. Coffee is also quite good here. The gluten free, dairy free banana bread was ok but nothing to rave about. You can buy various health foods here, including activated almonds!! The disappointing thing about this place is that it is supposed to be a relaxing place, but it's quite the opposite. It's always busy, crowded, noisy and stressful. The staff seem to struggle with the volume of orders and weekend crowds. It's nicer to sit outside if possible, to avoid the noise and crowded atmosphere. I'd like to try out the lunch menu sometime (not on a weekend though!)

Yelp
Incredible food with so many options and organic coffee and acai, my favorite. I love the organic matcha and the gluten free muffins for the morning. In the afternoon I love the falafel wrap and the vegan empanadas are so tasty. Cold pressed juices, plant based protein smoothies, and immunity shots are incredible. Super friendly and great service. Locals, surfers, yogis, there's always something great coming out of the kitchen!

Yelp
I would love to give them another star since I think a restaurant that offers the range of food that they do should be recognized. If you are Raw, Vegan, low glycemic, Paleo or any other number of diets, this place is for you. There's an amazing selection of products both made on site, and for sale. My husband and I stopped in, and for us, the prices were a bit higher than we would have liked, and the food was a bit less well seasoned than we would have liked as well. We ordered the Bombay Eggs- they were just fine, they would have been better with more seasoning. The almond- flour, coconut sweetened muffin was a lovely sight to see, but it was heavy like a rock, had a mushy texture, and was generally underwhelming. I also ordered sides of pumpkin cauliflower mash & tamari eggplant. The only thing that was much seasoning at all was the tamari eggplant, and this was one of the highlights of the meal.

Yelp
Insane health spot with the best service. I had a brekky burrito and a Matcha almond mild latte that blew my mind. Best spot to have breakfast in Manly

Yelp
I want to eat everything here. Plant-based, wholesome, organic and lots of variety at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Loved Whole Foods in Manly. AMAZING, fresh, and healthy! Beautiful and artistic display as well. I was super impressed with all the organic choices on the food and their little market inside as well.

Yelp
Love the healthy meals from this place. Brilliant service and great, quality real ingredients.

Yelp
Dropped in at 4.30 p.m. last Saturday afternoon. All staff were very busy cleaning the shop and it took longer than usual to be served, despite being the only ones waiting. We asked what time they closed, due to the feverish cleaning activity, and was told 6 p.m. and that they were open for business of course, because it was only 4.30 p.m. The girl walked away in the middle of our order process which showed lack of interest in us, and then when we asked for two juices we were told no, they were cleaning the juicer machine. Come on guys, your food looks great, but cleaning the shop took precedence over common manners and a paying customer. We walked out and went to a very welcoming cafe close by.
