Puri Bali Hotel

The location of this hotel was great for us. Easy walk to some great restaurants & to access dolphin swim tour.|The pool and relaxing garden setting at this hotel is its best attribute|The rooms are tired, the sheets, pillows and towels are in need of replacing and the bathrooms could do with a revamp.|Breakfast was basic|The staff were all friendly and obliging

Great low cost place to stay in Lovina. The pool is beautiful. The room was basic but did the job. Convenient location and the staff are lovely.

I don’t understand why this hotel has so many good reviews (probably most of them are fake). We got 2 bungalows and both were bad but the one where we stayed was the worst: AC barely working, clear signs of damp on the walls with the paint and plaster coming off and black mould on the walls!!! The bathroom super basic with 1 soap dispenser fixed on the wall which had to be used for both shower and sink. We went immediately to the reception to ask for another room and after the gentleman at the desk fussed saying they have no rooms he magically found a “family room” available. Same crap conditions but at a larger scale and without visible mould: stains on the walls, disgusting toilet and the bed didn’t even have a bed sheet, just a thin mattress cover to cover yourselves. The pillows were also stinking. The “restaurant” kitchen visible behind the reception didn’t look great either. Lucky we stayed only for 1 night as we came up here only to see the plancton and dolphins. Looking at the prices in the area is not a cheap one and this is what I can’t understand: for this price, how can the conditions be so bad and, above all, unsafe! AVOID IT AT ANY COST! Wouldn’t keep my dog in one of their rooms. All the bad reviews are absolutely true. Photos from both rooms.

An absolute joke. The pictures show an amazing location and the garden and the pool look great indeed. However the rooms are disgusting 🤮…the toilet looks like it has not been cleaned since they were installed. There is no soap to wash your hands, there is just some broken dispenser on the wall where the shower is (dirty of course!) who god knows what contains. The first room we had literally had mould on the walls. We were “upgraded” to a family room which looked better, however, it was equally dirty. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The pictures show some of the most select rooms, which don’t capture the dirt or mould or other aspects. Nonetheless the insulation is terrible, I was able to hear my neighbour vomiting at 5 a.m. and then the cartoons they were watching around 7-8 in the morning.

A nice hotel in a good location. The hotel is getting on in age so is far from 5 star but it is great value for money and the staff are wonderful.

We stayed 30 minutes then we changed hotels. So yes in the photos this hotel looks beautiful. However, this applies to people who have taken the “high-end” bungalows in front of the swimming pool… The swimming pool is beautiful, the garden is good. But the room: filled with humidity, an unpleasant smell, rot on the walls, a dirty and not maintained bathroom. It doesn't make you want to stay there even for one night. The price is cheap and the staff seem friendly but don't get the basic rooms if you want to stay there.

Awful place! Everything is extremely dirty to the point that you fear even sleeping on the pillow provided given how everything else is. The bathroom is a “piece of art” when it comes to dirt on the sink and the toilet bowl. There is no hand soup/ there is just some liquid in the dispenser mounted on the shower wall (shower is not enclosed, no curtain, no cabin, no nothing). There is no blanket ( a bedsheet served as a blanket) and the garbage bin is just a bin with no bag. We had to change the first room as it had black mound on the walls. In the new room we had a terrible night sleep as we could hear everything the neighbours were doing. The garden and the pool looked good as far as we could see.

I loved this place and the attention from the staff is second to none. The pool is relaxing, I had breakfast included and my room was always cleaned. The only downfall was that there is no fridge in the room for putting drinks in and the linen (sheets and towels) was old but, I was certainly very happy, regardless. It's a fantastic location with lots of options nearby for eating and booking activities.
