Puri Damai Boutique Losmen

Just spent three weeks at Puri Damai in suite No.6. Double bed with direct views over the pool. Overall a very pleasant experience. Staff were all very nice and helpfull with management very low key. Basically equipped kitchen with medium sized fridge - all very adequate. Only adverse comment I would offer is that the open verandah and dining area were extremely hot during the days . There is only one ceiling fan and frankly it was inadequate. The bedroom and bathroom are airconditioned very well - no problems there. Over all a happy experience and just hope I can get back some time.

Intan, the front desk manager, was particularly noteworthy; she was not only incredibly friendly but also adept at solving any issues that arose during my stay. The entire team was fantastic, always ready to assist with a smile. One of the standout features of this hotel is the security. I felt safe walking around the premises at night, which is a significant plus for solo travelers or anyone who enjoys a late-night stroll. The hotel's gardens are absolutely stunning, providing a beautiful, serene atmosphere to relax in. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, complete with effective air conditioning and a convenient en suite bathroom. I particularly appreciated the outdoor area that opened off my room, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area with a table and chairs, and lots of comfortable seating under an overhead fan—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The pool at Losman Hotel is yet another highlight. It was clean, sparkling, and private, a well-maintained oasis away from the bustle of the beach. The fact that it is adults-only added to the tranquil ambiance, making it an ideal spot to relax. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with a wide array of cafes and shops just a short walk away, and the beach is easily accessible. This makes it incredibly convenient for anyone looking to explore the local area without having to travel far. Overall, my stay at Losman Hotel was delightful. The combination of excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and a great location makes this hotel a gem in Legian, Bali. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful yet accessible getaway!

Puri Damai ticks all the boxes if you are seeking an authentic Balinese style of accommodation. Each apartment is well equipped and so spacious with comfortable balconies that overlook the immaculate peaceful gardens. Just a short stroll down the nearby lane takes you to the beachfront and restaurants. The staff are friendly and always available to assist you to ensure you have a wonderful stay. Hidden gem in a top location! Just spent 3 fabulous weeks. Close to shops, restaurant's, 4min walk down laneway to beach. Owner Ayu and staff exceptionally friendly, attentive and efficient. Has the authentic Bali vibe we love, beautiful gardens, pool and boutique villas that are fully equipped with kitchen, lounge, balcony / relaxing area, separate lockable bedroom / en-suite with safe. Already booked for 2025. A must to visit!

According to its name, Puri Damai (Peaceful House), It's a peaceful place to stay, but so close to the beach and restaurants. The staff is very friendly. Staying here is like staying at your family's, as they will try their best to provide everything you need during your stay. I would love to come back...

As regular guests pre Covid we returned to Puri Damai after a 3 year break.|We were so happy to be warmly welcomed back & were impressed with the way the complex is looking. Fresh coats of paint bathrooms updated & the gardens just as beautiful as ever.|Yes it is rustic but that is part of the properties appeal. |Our room was cleaned thoroughly everyday & the staff were always smiling & eager to assist us.|If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with more space than just a hotel room. Puri Damai ticks all the boxes.|Thankyou Ayu Intan & all the staff for the wonderful stay.

The eight one bedroom and four two bedroom villas are very spacious with fully fitted kitchens, lounge, dinning area and large balcony with outdoor setting. The lockable bedrooms are large as is the bed and newly renovated ensuite. All are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, a safe, TV and Wi Fi. The pool is lovely as are the well manicured gardens. Many restaurants, bars and shops are close by and the beach is only 250 meters away. The complex is very secure and the units are cleaned daily. Ayu the owner and staff are very, very nice and attentive.

I've been travelling to Bali since 1979 & this place is fantastic. Its in a perfect location, close to restaurants, beach & shopping. It is a small boutique (very traditional)with lovely grounds. There are 2 types of accommodation, one & two bedroom appartments. There is so much to love about Puri Damai. Perfect for me because it has a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dinning area & sitting area all in your apartment. The appartments all have large open air eating/living areas that overlook a beautiful garden. There are 1 bedroom appartments upstairs & downstairs. I like the upstairs better, a little more private than the ones downstairs. It has a lovely clean pool with about 5 or 6 sun beds. The staff are fantastic & can't do enough for you. They don't supply water but you can order a large bottle of water to put on the water dispenser that is in the kitchen (cost is minimum to you) I love this idea as it cuts down on plastic water bottles. The two bedrooms are very large & have living areas downstairs & bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs.They don't serve breakfast but thats fine, as there are many places near by to try each morning or cook your own, if thats what you like to do. I will be back again this year, I've already booked as I love the peace, quiet & the whole feel of this amazing hotel.
