Puri Saraswati Dijiwa Ubud

Centrally located with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, along with the magnificent Ubud Water Palace next door. The gardens are traditional and immaculate, the women laying out the gorgeous Hindu offerings each morning. There were people staying but it always felt quiet and private. It was a relief to come in after being on the busy streets outside. It's actually easy not to leave... The swimming pool is pretty and inviting. Fountains and water features around the gardens created a peaceful watery soundscape, mitigating street noise, air conditioning units etc. The hotel restaurant couldn't be in a better setting than the amazing water garden, with its large colourful stepping stones weaving a track across the water. They are super popular with everyone. Also, it afforded a view of performances taking place at the Ubud Palace in the evenings. My room was a decent size with a generous patio with chairs, table and a divan for relaxing in the shade. It was clean and quiet and nicely set out, with a spacious outdoor bathroom with bath. Staff were lovely, and we were welcomed with a small blessing ceremony. Service was excellent, friendly and discrete.

We travelled as a group of 11 to the Puri Saraswati Dijiwa Ubud and we loved every moment! Such a beautiful experience from beginning to end, starting with the friendly staff who greet you and help with everything you need. This hotel has an old Balinese charm yet feels clean and modern enough you don’t compromise on comfort. The pool was cool and refreshing. The food at restaurant was always lovely especially the included breakfast which was 3 courses. Last but not least the location is the best and right in the action of Ubud… just down the road from markets and great restaurants all around you. Thank you for the extra care you took to make our Bali trip special!

Very welcoming team and great service level.. Attached restaurant (also for breakfast) looks direct onto the neighbouring Water Palace. The rooms are set in traditional complex 50 metres back from the road, so serene & quiet break to return to after busy Ubud streets. Nice touch in our room (the higher option) was the 'outdoor effect' bathroom, which all fully private & covered & part of the unit, gave the feel of being outdoors. Highly recommend

The hotel location is in the heart of Ubud, very convenient. The room is very nice but all the towels are not very clean (with dark stains on all of them) so suggest you bring your own bath towels. Doors have gaps so there are mosquitoes inside the room which is very annoying. The staff are very friendly and caring. One morning we need to leave before their scheduled breakfast time so they offered to pack our breakfast boxes for us to take - very kind and considerate.

I spent a couple of days of my honeymoon here. The place is gorgeous, very well located and overall the staff is one of the kindest and friendliest I have seen so far. I loved the time we spent here, they made our stay in Bali to be perfect. Plus, they provided private tour days after and before our stay in their hotel. Musta (our driver) was exceptionally friendly and provided a very good service. The SPA as well was incredible. I would love to come back

My friend and I spent ten glorious days and nights in Ubud at Puri Saraswati Dijiwa. We loved our suite and had wonderful sleeps on the comfy beds and quality linen. Every day we enjoyed our pool time and relaxing in the patio area. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful! We always felt well taken care of. Massage therapist, Henny, has magic hands! Puri Saraswati Dijiwa is located in the heart of Ubud and it was easy to get around to our activities, restaurants and the markets. The hotel restaurant served us a scrumptious breakfasts every morning and we had many of our suppers there, too. If you’re looking for an authentic Balinese experience and beautiful surroundings, this is your stay!

I m really happy with my accommodation on this beautiful hotel.The staff were very polite and nice.Everything is close to walking distance- behind the property you can found such a beautiful peaceful rice field- the scenery is breathtaking- some cozy little restaurant around and very very quiet . I was in love to spend there my afternoon free time.Highly recommend to visit!!! The Water Palace next door was fantastic- such a beautiful peaceful place with fountains and Balinese design around. Great restaurant with delicious food and also there is SPA with authentic Balinese massages- don’t forget to tried- it is fantastic!!!!

What an amazing place. The location, the staff and the amenities were beyond my expectations. The staff greets you by your first name - now that's hospitality! I always felt safe. I was able to easily book things through them. Would highly recommend this hotel!
