Puro Corazón

Came from Playa Del Carmen where we were for 1 week. Terrible food in Playa. The food and smoothie drinks here are great. See the pic of my empty glass (delicious)

Puro Corazon is definitely worth a visit. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, it's a smaller, very casual place and just didn't seem like a place that would be serving some of the best food around. I ordered the octopus tacos, which were truly from another planet. They were beyond delicious. Seriously, you must get these!! My girlfriend had the chicken burrito, which I also tried. It's was excellent. The marinated chicken, roasted jalapeno and a few other things made this really good. Lastly, the passion fruit margaritas were delicious! It's not a flavor I saw often.

Great stuff, really flavour and elaborated food. The attention is remarkable as well. I loved the vibe of the area with the decoration really going in line with the area and the food. Drinking selection was also nice, including a wide range of craft beers to choose from. I would definitely come back.

Delicious food, I think this is the best restaurant in Tulum Azulik area. We tried Mixed Ceviche which was amazing because of passion fruit. Tacos are also very nice. Burrito Arachera - perfect! Prices like everywhere in this area.

Great place! The food is delicious, portions are huge (like lit bigger then necessary 😅 but they will kindly pack the leftover for take away so u get lunch for the next day), prices a bit lower vs.the beach average and the staff was super sweet! I had guacamole & ceviche mixto. Truelly recommended ✨

I don’t like when staff is pushy. Let me read the menu before you spell out all your promo drinks and what not. Also, not everyone is an alcoholic, e.g. we don’t drink. No ac was literally no breeze in there. We finished and ran for our lives. The place needs a lot of money for for some serious reno. There is even a sign that the restaurant is for rent. No kidding. Food. The regular ceviche was warm and so much fish in it. Seafood ceviche is my favorite mex food. Not here. My fish (Mayan style- forgot the name) was good, but nothing I want to order again. Fresh coconut were yummy.

Hard to review this place. They have the sky bar which we didn’t partake in both nights we had dinner here. But I’m sure it’s cool. Though the dinner is why I’m writing a review. Great food. No doubt about it. But damn did it take some time to get it. First night we were just the only people dinning and it took some time. We came back a second time because we wanted to stay around our hotel and we happened to have arrived when there weren’t many other tables, but then all of a sudden more people started showing up (in total 6 tables). And we waited almost an hour to receive our food, which wasn’t complicated stuff either. But hey, the food was delicious so I guess it was worth the wait! Ceviche tropical delicious, tacos amazing and definitely go for the banana balls as a starter!!!

Very nice place with good food, nice special offers ( both happy hours and breakfast deals are worth mentioning) and tasty mezcal drinks😃 super nice and helpful stuff. Huge plus for very efficient mosquito repellent smoke in the evenings plus discount deal for users of their Airbnb 😃
