As our flight landed at 9.00am local time, we decided to get the train to the hotel as they had told us there were 2 stations close by. The train only cost £8 for the 2 of us, and having got off at Zablocie station, you only had to walk back over the bridge to get to the hotel so were there in about 10 mins max. |Even through we were early they said they would just check the room was ready, so literally had time to grab a cinnamon roll from the cafe and a cup of the coffee from the free 24/7 coffee/tea bar and our room was ready which was fantastic as we were able to drop our stuff, have a quick wash and brush up and start our day.|The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes walk from the Jewish quarter, and about a 10-12 min into the old town, there was a tram but we just ended up walking.|Breakfast was really good, and having the tea/coffee bar available all day was fantastic, you could also refill your water bottles in the same area with still or sparkling water.|We used the bikes and would definitely have used them more if the weather had been better, the outside courtyard area looked lovely but unfortunately was always too wet to use due to the rain.|Our only issue was on the last morning when we were woken up by all the lights coming on at 6am, having switched them off, we then couldn't get them to come on again and had no power in the room, as it was still early it looked like there were some lights on and the lifts were working, but on getting to reception was told they just needed to re-set everything and it would be fine and had probably happened as were checking out that day, .s o whilst the tablet in the room etc is great when it works, its not so good when you have a problem as there is now way of contacting reception etc to check what's happening.
