We went during the evening and were greeted by a security guard at the front door who checked our ids (he looked and sounded miserable). There is a packed long bar, but luckily we could find 2 seats. It took a while for the bartender to come around to us. We noticed that he would go around to everyone else but would lowkey ignore us to the point where we had to call him over just for him to stay, wait and go directly to someone else. It didn't help that we were the only non white people there then, so we felt a little singled out. Even this group of guys noticed what was happening and thought it strange. We only got to have 2 drinks, so we quickly left and went somewhere else to drink and eat (because they serve food).
The bathrooms could be cleaner, but I didn't expect much, considering it's a bar! The vibes overall bar atmosphere was pretty alive, and people looked like they were having a great time! I didn't know any of the songs playing, considering it's a Rock bar (unfortunately, I don't listen to Rock), but that didn't bother me.
Later at night, we realized our card was charged $50 even though the drinks were $14 total + tip. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt, considering that the charge is still "pending," so hopefully, we will see if it will change soon. We're still determining if this was because we had a tab open, but I hope the accurate amount shows soon.
Another bummer was the fact that there was no food here whatsoever! So, I recommend you eat somewhere before you come here, or don't anticipate staying here long. Luckily, I had Trasher fries in my bag, so I could snack on that for a while before we decided to get up and leave to a restaurant and bar.
This place would be good if you are into Rock music as they have live bands playing there weekly! We are willing to give it another shot in the future!
