Fantastic location, amazing customer service staffs are very helpful and friendly they help with anything you ask them if can, gives directions and recommendations. I’m sorry I didn’t like the room. The plugs and light on my bedside didn’t work I have to depend on the guy above my to charge my phone. I love idea of the buffet for breakfast and activities organized for guests that’s awesome. The house maintenance are doing a great. I did not sleep and I’m glad it was just two nights because the bed was so uncomfortable. I will probably come back for just one or two nights. Lovely staffs and fantastic location.

WORST PLACE I HAVE STAYED AT. This hostel is a SCAM. PLEASE BEWARE! They advertise air conditioning but there’s NO AIR CONDITIONING. Imagine 30+ degrees weather and it got HOT to the point where people had to leave room doors open at night. They say they have a schedule and turn it off at 8 am. However, whether it’s 10 pm or 2 am the AC is never on in the rooms. I am paying for the room it should be on throughout my stay. However, I didn’t care during the day because I opened the window and then went out. I asked the receptionist at night to turn it on, he said it was already on (P.S. they tell you to keep asking reception if you want the AC on). I went into the room and guess WHAT it wasn’t working. I didn’t have the energy to go back down as I was tired so i went to sleep. The second night it was so unbearable that I spent half the night in the reception and slept in the co working space for a bit because those were the only places with the AC working. Just to remind you, I did have a room all this time. I was not squatting. I checked out early just to get another hotel. They have a good common area but if you care at all about air conditioning in this heat don’t go here! The location is good

Service is good but they seem very disinterested in their jobs compared to the other hostel where there is more of vibe. The real reason why I’m writing this review is because of the beds. If you have a top level bed it is very hard to get up there. It is almost they designed it in a way to make it as much difficult to get it in bed. And I’m fit and flexible. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for others. The beds are awful. It almost felt like a prison bed although I never have been in prison. The accommodation was clean though. I have to give it that. But what I told you was a major deal breaker. I also had to wake up couple of times at night because the light of the room was right above my head so when somebody came into the room I got disturbed. They do have curtains but only at the side of the bed. Not in front and back of the bed. So what is even the purpose of a curtain in that case?

The hostel is decent. The staff is very kind and supportive. The best part about this hostel is its breakfast which I have not experienced in any other hostel - daily serving of pipping hot croissant and Spanish goodies. Absolutely loved their croissants. The breakfast spread is satisfactory. Loved my stay here. The only challenge is that the locker has physical lock and key which makes the experience cumbersome. Rest, I am happy with my stay.

Absolutely brilliant. Went on their organised pub crawl so good for getting a feel of the city’s night life. Facilities are clean and hostel beds are actually comfy which is such a nice change. Good kitchen that has a fridge and storage for everyone. Handy for making a holiday cheap. Locations quite central with good bus connections

Staff are lovely! Has lots of facilities and big dining/common area. With some events hosted like an art tour; though they could be a bit more active in the group chat about the events and host more in-house social activities. The breakfast also has lots of options. Showers are really good. Thank you for having us 😊

Very pleasant experience here! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, the rooms and restrooms are clean and well taken care of, and it’s in a great location if you want to walk and explore the city and about a 30 minute bus from the beach. Overall great experience and I would gladly stay here again!

Google
It was a great hostel. Our specific room had curtains which was really nice but The room next door was full of kids who were incredibly loud and unruly at 7:30 am in the morning running up and down the halls. It wasn’t the hostels fault but no one asked them to be quiet. Overall good hostel but could use some more restrictions

Yelp
Had an awesome stay here for two nights. The service was extremely helpful, the beds were comfortable, and most importantly everyone working here was simply very kind to us. Makes you want to come back. Would highly recommend the spot to any travelers in Valencia looking for an affordable place to stay!

Yelp
I'm staying here with a large group of students. It's everything that you'd expect from a hostel, but I've had way better experiences in other hostels around Spain. Firstly, the air conditioning in my room did not work. Not having AC in Spain is actually quite common, but they do have AC. The one in my room in particular just didn't work. There are NO windows in the room to open. So overall, it was extremely hard to sleep because the room was super stuffy and hot. Secondly, the night shift staff isn't attentive or helpful. People were ringing the bell to be let into the hostel, the front desk person heard the bell but just let it ring. I literally watched him sit and let the bell ring while people where standing outside to be let into the hostel they're paying to stay in. It's ok on cleanliness. Great on location. Everything else is super meh. I'm not a fan and would never stay here again.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The rooms are clean and the staff is so friendly! They let us borrow towels to take to the beach. When we returned they even allowed us to use the communal showers despite being checked out already. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
The Purple Nest is perfect for exploring the Old Town and the nightlife in the city, but it's not the greatest location if all you want to do is go to the beach. It's a nice flash hostel and the air/con goes from 11pm-11am in the summertime. There's a bar downstairs, the receptionists are all lovely and willing to help, and there are heaps of maps showing the metro, local markets and other places of interest. The cleaners do a really good job but don't get in their way because they'll mop over your feet! hehe

Yelp
My stay at this hostel was absolutely fantastic. For starters, the staff was awesome and super helpful when it came to things to do in Valencia. They were also helpful in finding public transport. The hostel was clean and the atmosphere was great. They had a great common room with a bar and a terrace above, both areas were great to converse with new friends. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was pretty decently sized as well. The only down side was probably the bathrooms as they smelt sort of funky and the showers were either burning hot or cold, it was difficult to find a good temperature. They were well connected with a tour group called tour me out. The staff from this tour group was phenomenal as well. The hostel offered free tours through this tour group and a pub crawl(12€) as well, all of which I highly recommend! They offer a buffet for breakfast for 3€ although I never tried it so I cannot say whether it is worth the money or not. The bar inside has happy hour downstairs starting at 8 PM and during happy hour they have beer pong tournaments and specials. One night while I was there, the tour group came in and gave us free pasta for dinner!! Lastly, one other downside to this hostel is that the top bunks don't have a plug in nearby so if you're worried about your phone being stolen and you're on the top bunk, I would recommend switching to a bottom bunk. All in all, great hostel and I have been recommending it to my friends for the future!

Yelp
My group of four stayed one night in the purple nest and had a great time. The people were helpful, the bartender was fun, and the space was clean. This hostel was one of the more rambunctious hostels that I visited in Spain. As is often the case when traveling, there were many australians raging the night away and we were more than happy to join them. The location is very central, leaving many sites in close walking distance.

Yelp
good place. very central. friendly staff and clean. i am not giving it a 5 star rating because of the annoying purple light (even in the rooms; almost makes you want to pimp out your gf). I know it is called purpled nest but it has been slightly overdone. If you want to meet drunk english people this is the place to come to.
