Book the room on the top floor with the private balcony if you can - it's amazing! The location is good as you can walk to the city center and the park easily. There's also a bike share station right outside the hostel, which was easy to use. The free dinner wasn't great; you get what you pay for.

We really enjoyed our stay in Nest Hostel 🪺 We stayed for 3 nights in the double bad private room with shared bathroom and kitchen. We shared it only with one more room, so it was pretty cool and stressless! It was clean, also in common areas, the room was minimalistic with everything that we needed, the view from the window was beautiful too. Big thanks to the staff of the hostel, you are very kind and helpful! The breakfast cost us 6€ and it was really rich and staff ones again doing great job! Location very central too. Only pluses and best impression! We will come back definitely! 💯😌🏠

Nice hostel, very organized and clean! Points for improvement: • No curtains on the beds, which affects privacy. • Noisy metal beds. • Terrible WiFi — I was working during my stay, so having reliable internet was very important to me. Francesco at the reception was great and very friendly!

I want to leave a review for the wonderful staff and service they provide in the purple nest hostel. In particular Francessco, who worked the night shift during my stay. I will definitely come back to purple nest and speak well of it to anyone looking to stay here. Thanks guys!

Its a great hostel from what i experienced so far. The staff at the reception is very nice, especially Richard who helped me with a change of room booking. They offer breakfast for only 6€ and the rooms are very clean with curtains so that you even get some privacy. Would recommend!

In a strategic location, with kind and helpful staff, nice rooms and clean bathrooms. Was a bit annoyed when I'd wake up at night to go to bathroom as the bed sheet would get stuck on the door, so I could not close the door on my way out and in. The "small" room wasn't as small as I thought, which was a plus. Will definitely book there again when I'll visit the town.

I absolutely love this hostel. It feels so homey with the kitchen, dining area, terrace. I am from America and the staff made me feel comfortable and helped me with everything that I needed. I would totally recommend. And I will definitely be back.

I recently stayed at Purple Nest and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. There was a group of young Italian people who were unfriendly and seemed to have little respect for others. I witnessed them blocking the stairs and even refusing to let an older woman pass, which felt very strange and inconsiderate. Additionally, the cleanliness of the toilets was unacceptable. They were often dirty, with visible signs of neglect, including hard stains. It was unbelievable that such hygiene issues were overlooked. On a positive note, I just got a gym license and have been enjoying my workouts, but it’s hard to ignore the overall atmosphere of the place. It’s not something you can tolerate for 14 days. When entering the restaurant bar, I found the staff very friendly but the group italiansà that was staying there , anyone aged between 13 and 17 very unfriendly .

Yelp
Had an awesome stay here for two nights. The service was extremely helpful, the beds were comfortable, and most importantly everyone working here was simply very kind to us. Makes you want to come back. Would highly recommend the spot to any travelers in Valencia looking for an affordable place to stay!

Yelp
I'm staying here with a large group of students. It's everything that you'd expect from a hostel, but I've had way better experiences in other hostels around Spain. Firstly, the air conditioning in my room did not work. Not having AC in Spain is actually quite common, but they do have AC. The one in my room in particular just didn't work. There are NO windows in the room to open. So overall, it was extremely hard to sleep because the room was super stuffy and hot. Secondly, the night shift staff isn't attentive or helpful. People were ringing the bell to be let into the hostel, the front desk person heard the bell but just let it ring. I literally watched him sit and let the bell ring while people where standing outside to be let into the hostel they're paying to stay in. It's ok on cleanliness. Great on location. Everything else is super meh. I'm not a fan and would never stay here again.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! The rooms are clean and the staff is so friendly! They let us borrow towels to take to the beach. When we returned they even allowed us to use the communal showers despite being checked out already. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
The Purple Nest is perfect for exploring the Old Town and the nightlife in the city, but it's not the greatest location if all you want to do is go to the beach. It's a nice flash hostel and the air/con goes from 11pm-11am in the summertime. There's a bar downstairs, the receptionists are all lovely and willing to help, and there are heaps of maps showing the metro, local markets and other places of interest. The cleaners do a really good job but don't get in their way because they'll mop over your feet! hehe

Yelp
My stay at this hostel was absolutely fantastic. For starters, the staff was awesome and super helpful when it came to things to do in Valencia. They were also helpful in finding public transport. The hostel was clean and the atmosphere was great. They had a great common room with a bar and a terrace above, both areas were great to converse with new friends. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was pretty decently sized as well. The only down side was probably the bathrooms as they smelt sort of funky and the showers were either burning hot or cold, it was difficult to find a good temperature. They were well connected with a tour group called tour me out. The staff from this tour group was phenomenal as well. The hostel offered free tours through this tour group and a pub crawl(12€) as well, all of which I highly recommend! They offer a buffet for breakfast for 3€ although I never tried it so I cannot say whether it is worth the money or not. The bar inside has happy hour downstairs starting at 8 PM and during happy hour they have beer pong tournaments and specials. One night while I was there, the tour group came in and gave us free pasta for dinner!! Lastly, one other downside to this hostel is that the top bunks don't have a plug in nearby so if you're worried about your phone being stolen and you're on the top bunk, I would recommend switching to a bottom bunk. All in all, great hostel and I have been recommending it to my friends for the future!

Yelp
My group of four stayed one night in the purple nest and had a great time. The people were helpful, the bartender was fun, and the space was clean. This hostel was one of the more rambunctious hostels that I visited in Spain. As is often the case when traveling, there were many australians raging the night away and we were more than happy to join them. The location is very central, leaving many sites in close walking distance.

Yelp
good place. very central. friendly staff and clean. i am not giving it a 5 star rating because of the annoying purple light (even in the rooms; almost makes you want to pimp out your gf). I know it is called purpled nest but it has been slightly overdone. If you want to meet drunk english people this is the place to come to.
